I wanted a 128GB chip for my new Samsung Tab S3 tablet so I looked at what Best Buy had in stock - SanDisk and Samsung. After looking at the specs I saw that the Samsung was a faster chip and a slightly higher price. I decided to treat myself to the best. and bought the Samsung.

My tablet came with Android ver 7.x but was upgraded, automatically, just a few days ago to Oreo 8.0. Fantastic! It is fast, with what must be the sharpest, brightest display on the market. It accepts a Micro SD of up to 256GB (the external SD card is used to store files on, you can not run apps from it) and has both an excellent front and rear camera. I love the new USB C connector allowing no-flip-required insertion of the charger cable. And, the pencil puts it on par with my Note 8 and the primary reason I keep buying Samsung Note phones. BUT, what do I do with the pencil?? Although much larger than my Note 8, there is no provision to store the pencil into the tablet. So now what do I do? Stick it in my pocket so that it can stab me every time I go for my car keys? Fortunately, for me, the one for my Note 8 works with this tablet, so I can leave the one that came with it at home. Still, no one else makes a tablet that you can use a pencil with, so I highly recommend this as the finest tablet around...AND, you can get a case that includes an integral keyboard for it. Add to that four stereo speakers and what's not to love?

I was looking for a cable to connect a no-frills DVD to my TV. In most instances, gold plated, flashy cables are not worth the premium price they command so I bought this cable. I've been using it for more than a month and it works flawlessly.

We were going to get a converter to connect our old A/V output DVR to the HDMI input of a 4K TV. (Mfg. save a few ¢ by excluding A/V inputs on new products). The BestBuy store in Mesa, AZ didn't have a converter so we purchased this DVR. We didn't want a super hi-def player or even a Blue Ray. We just wanted a simple, basic player to play the 200+ older DVD's we have.
Set up was a breeze and after just a few minutes it was playing via our 4K TV. Menus are simple and clear to understand. The remote even coupled to our TV so that both could be controlled with the Sony remote - the TV is not a Sony. Image is just as good and stable as any other DVD that I've had. Note: We've only had this unit for a few weeks.
Didn't like that it came with the old style carbon batteries that barely last long enough to throw away or that the instruction "book" gave extremely little information. Also, there are cheaper, standard quality DVD players out there but BestBuy's selection was limited the day we bought and we didn't feel like going to Walmart.

I must admit that I haven't used this drive a lot yet, but I like the sizes - both physical and electronic.The faster USB 3 interface is the primary reason I opted to buy a new drive at this time. And, if buying a new drive, I figured I might as well go big.
The only disappointment so far is that, unlike in prior times, there was no storage/transport case included. As prices of mass storage devices have come down, they've learned another way to squeeze you for an additional $15-$20 - make you buy a case, or put your purchase at risk.

WD didn't make this an easy purchase for me. There were indications that it would work (because of other models of HDs that were listed on the package) but the list of HD models it would fit did not include mine and you couldn't open the sealed box. But, I bought it, tried it, and it worked - so be aware, not all current model HD's that the case fits are listed on the packaging.
Since it is a semi-rigid case, it gives good protection and the case fits perfectly. Even though the HD comes nowhere near the corners of the case, the zipper is a little difficult to pull around those corners. Also, I would appreciate if the case had a wrist strap by which to hold it.

We had a very old AM/FM radio with cassette player. Since we have a lot of old speeches and lessons on tape plus like talk radio, we were really bummed out when both the AM radio and the tape deck failed within the same week.
The Insignia looked like it had everything we wanted, plus a CD player we didn't really care about, so we bought it. Sound quality was acceptable and it was very serviceable. BUT, here is why we found it useless and returned it.
1. It has ten station presets for each AM and FM. However, if the unit looses power - like a power outage lasting only a few seconds - all presets are lost and the unit defaults to "out-of-box" settings. Maybe batteries would prevent this, but if you're not going to move the unit around, you are just wasting money on batteries that will get consumed without you ever needing them.
2. Setting the presets is more bother then it should be.
3. If you are on preset 3 and want to go to preset 1 or 2, you must got to 4, then 5, then 6, etc. until getting to where you want to go. i.e. presets tune up one station at a time only, not down nor can you jump from, say, 4 to 7.
4. If you want to tune a station that's a long distance from where the radio is presently tuned, on either the AM or FM band, there is no rotary knob. You press and hold the up or down button, but the radio only scans to the first station it encounters. At that point you have to release the button, then press and hold it again...and again...and again, until you finally reach the station you want.
5. Pressing the on/off button takes enough force that the unit slides, so you must grab it to prevent the sliding. Now the problem is that you have just touched the CD cover, so it now pops up.
6. It does NOT have a built-in FM antenna. Rather a wire that dangles from the back.
There were several other issues we had with the Insignia but we resolved all of them by returning it and getting a refund.

Out of the box and into full operation is quick and straight forward. As with so many items today, there is only a fast start sheet accompanying the router but a very exhaustive manual is available online as a download. I have zero problems or complaints with the product's operation. My only complaint relates to its physical shape and layout. The lights are on the top and do not show up unless you are looking directly down at it. Also, the foot print is rather large, I'd prefer a stand up tower to conserve desk space. Finally, if you want to wall mount the unit, you either mount the router upside down, relative to the markings, with the antennas then at the bottom, or you have the wires coming out of the (now) top of the unit and spilling over the sides. Unfortunately, too many package designers never use what they design.

I needed something to store my iTunes library on. It had to be portable, small, and, because of the amount of data in my library, fast & at least 47GB. I figured my solution was a USB 3.0 Flash Drive. Searching through what Best Buy had available, I found this 64GB USB 3.0 Flash on sale at a very good price. While there may (or may not) be faster transfer drives out there, this one works very well for me.
PRO: Large capacity, Speed, Price, PNY reputation
CON: Hole is too small for most lanyards or jump rings to connect to a lanyard to fit, Lacks a Droid plug to connect it to my tablet & phone.
Bottom Line: Great value and price.

Samsung is getting cheap on their new, high tech TV's. I bought a SUHD TV and wanted to connect it to my sound system, however, Samsung no longer includes analog ports. I bought this D/A Converter, connected it, turned it on and, presto, all was well with my old sound system.
I have one problem and I'm not sure if it is the TV or this converter. Being a "smart" TV, I can choose other sources to switch on. If I go to YouTube, the Internet, or some (but not all) alternative sources eg. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, I get a horrible buzzing that goes away if I switch back to the TV's audio.
Bottom line for me is that it is an inexpensive fix to my problem and a minor inconvenience. I just wish I knew what's the cause of the incompatibility.

You can set your preferences for your printer to never shut itself off or to do so after a predetermined interval of inactivity. I set mine to shut off. When it is turned back on, it reads the ink supply just fine.
