Purchased this at a discounted price, and bought it for the holster/clip more than the shell (I have a designer case on my phone). Holster is a bit bulky, but it is able to holster phone with a designer case with no problem. My previous Verizon holster/clip & case combo was thinner & could only holster the phone with the included case. If you are willing to have a slightly more bulky clip/holster, this will allow you some customization options for cases.
One con: There is a silver screw/bolt that holds the clip section of the holster together, and this was loose when I opened this product. I tightened this and have not had any problems, but I've taken a star off since I should not have had to do that to begin with. Holster works as expected.

I was using a different, older 2.1 system with my new Smart HDTV when one of the satellite speakers gave way. Although the subwoofer on that system & the remaining satellite still work very well, I decided to upgrade to a whole new system. I had heard that this system was comparable to a Logitech Z2300 system that I also own & LUV to death, so I decided to give this system a try, and it sounds great! I can confidently say that you will not find a system with this kind of power in a 2.1 set-up for this price. It is the last of a disappearing breed of 2.1 systems, so I would not hesitate to grab it while you still can. Your other option would be to invest in a full-fledged entertainment system, which will definitely cost more that this.
If you like your bass to hit hard whenever it hits, this is the perfect system for you. The Logitech system I mentioned above is the only other 2.1 system that carries this kind of thumping bass and overall output power, and they do not appear to make that system anymore (outside of special order perhaps, as far as I can tell). I couldn't have asked for a better system to assimilate into my new entertainment set-up.
Bass is adjustable, and it mixes well with the sound from the satellites. The only drawback is that there are cords galore for this thing (at least in comparison to other 2.1 systems that I've owned). It could be worse I suppose, but they definitely could have streamlined the cording. Also, this system does not have a remote of any kind (corded or otherwise), so unless you can control it through whatever system you hook it up to (which is possible), you will have to manually adjust the volume & bass on the system yourself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I originally purchased a Sharp UltraHDTV, and after setting it up quickly noticed that there was a huge discrepancy between the quality of that set on hi-end content versus how it handles regular content. I returned that set to get this one, and I have been delighted and excited to use it every time!
Although I typically use an HD cable to connect my laptop to it, I can connect with it wireless too.
The sound settings are not terrible but not the best. I have external speakers with subwoofer connected to it (which I will be upgrading shortly!), so sound is not an issue for me personally. Would recommend external speakers of some kind if you want a full quality experience with the sound. Picture is absolutely great, regardless of what you are watching. Up-converts content seamlessly!

Purchased this to go along with an HDTV purchase (needed this to hook one of my laptops to the TV) and it works splendidly. It comes in different lengths, so make sure you have the appropriate length for your set-up area.

This TV is very good at producing hi-end 4k and HDMI content, however, it does not handle black very well and often seems to be patch grey when it should be black. All non-HDMI content looks somewhat terrible (ghosting, poor upscaling, etc.). Returned it because I was told that this product could upscale basic content as well as handle the premium content. You can absolutely tell it has a 60Hz base refresh rate, so if you plan to watch ANYTHING other than hi-end content, try a TV with at least a 120Hz refresh rate.
In case you are wondering, I ended up being extremely satisfied with a Samsung 46" SMART TV For roughly the same price as this one, and it handles HD content exquisitely + upconverts content seamlessly without sacrificing the deep blacks. (Base refresh rate of 120hz).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is a small button on the right side of the device that will illuminate the power display on the front of the device. The device only displays the power in quarters; There are four lights arranged in a square formation, and the lights will reduce after each quarter of power has been drained from the device.

The overview states that there are (2) USB Ports, but the Specifications list only (1) USB Port. Which is correct?
It has 2 USB ports.

Does the TV have swivel capability on the base?
The base of this model does NOT swivel.
