A friend of mine raved about this game. Given the high score, I gave it a try. The game started out pretty slow. But things got interesting and the pacing picked up as you progress further into the story. Being a fan of Digimon helped me enjoy the game even more.
This is your normal turn-based RPG that has collection elements found in Pokemon. However, the difference is in the story. Digimon has, historically, been about the store, the characters, and the relationships between Digimons and their owners. The gameplay mechanic is solid and simple. There is nothing complex is easy to pick up. Some of the skills do require a bit of memorizing. And it helps to keep track of your skills and knowing what the class type and their elemental types are.
As for the audio, this may throw off new players. Voice dialog are entirely in Japanese. However, it is translated in the dialog text that's displayed when those scenes come up. Personally, I do not mind that. The script writing that came from the translation could have been better but for the time being, this is good enough.
The visuals and graphics are all anime styled, rendered in a 3D world. There is no fancy realism graphics. So the whole game feels like you're playing through an anime. If you fancy the more realistic visuals, this game is likely not for you (thus you should be looking at Final Fantasy or Elder Scrolls instead). My only complaint is that the camera is locked. There is no camera rotation to see the environment fully. You can zoom in and out to a certain extent. But still, you're stuck facing a certain direction. It makes navigating around a bit frustrating. But eventually you'll get used to it.
Overall, this is an excellent game and a surprise gem. I personally do not like writing up reviews before I finish the game. I prefer playing through as much as possible, to get a feel as to how the game plays, the visuals, mechanics, audio, and so forth. With 46 game hours logged and on Chapter 9 at the time of writing, I felt that was enough time to truly experience the game. This may very well be an actual game that I did not mind paying full price for. And I don't like paying full price for a console game these days.

snagged on impulse. The good thing is that it's powered via USB. But the drawback is perhaps the speed. Granted, this is using up to USB 3 for data transfer. However to fit within the powering spec of USB 3.0, the drive cannot run any faster.
The drive's purpose is to be a backup drive. Thus far, it is serving just that. A 4TB capacity is good for a drive this size. And it removes the necessity of having to have an extra power outlet in order to power the drive. Do yourself a favor and buy a drive of this size. You may never know when disaster strikes and you lose everything (which almost happened to me).

Needed a small wireless mouse for the laptop. Had considered getting different mouse *cough*Logitech*cough* but then thought about the additional software problem. This mouse is simple and straightforward. It may not have side scrolling but who needs that these days? The mouse works without needing any driver or software under Windows 10. For simple functionality, this mouse does the job well. And with the small USB receiver, I can leave it plugged in when it's not in use or when the laptop is turned off. The On/Off switch on the mouse also makes it convenient to use the mouse whenever you want to.
Overall, this is a pretty good simple mouse. The small profile makes it very portable and usable even in limited space.

These cards provide an alternative way to purchase gems which are used to purchase tangible items at Guild Wars 2's Gem Store. These items range from cosmetic upgrades (skins) to game tools to upgrades to the character or account. It can also be used to convert these gems into in-game gold but it's highly recommended not to do this. These cards provide a perfect way to give other people gems or it can be for personal use for those who do not have a PayPal or credit card number to use.
If you know a friend or family member who plays Guild Wars 2, this is an ideal gift to them. Not only can they use it to purchase skin (if they choose to) from the gem store, but they can also expand their account for things like extra storage space or an additional character slot.

It was the trailer that hooked me in. That's all it took. Watching the movie was good experience. The visuals and the story are what you would expect from Disney. My niece and nephew both enjoyed watching it the week the Blu-Ray/DVD came out.
Overall the movie is one of the better ones from Disney in recent years. It's worth having and owning, but maybe it's because I'm more of a tech geek than most.

This deal seems too good to be true. Does it really come with a factory new Nikon D5500, and the 2 lenses, no strings attached?
Yes, it comes with 2 lenses. The first is your standard 18-55mm lens and the other is your telescopic/telephoto 70-300mm. I saw Best Buy advertising it for sale during the week of April 30 to May 6 so I decided to pull the trigger. It comes in as one Nikon container box that has the 70-300mm lens in its own retail-like packaging and the camera kit.

When it went on sale for 40, I paid 40 at the store. Unless the it specifically say that it's an online only price, you should be able to walk in and buy it at whatever price is displayed here.
