Not much to it. It's a hard drive. Very quiet and runs quickly. Great product. I tend to either buy Seagate or Western Digital products.

Price was on target if not a little better than other places. My hard drive board was failing and I bought this to replace it. I needed the extra space and bought this 2 TB model. Easy to install in my iMac as it is in a Windows computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has anyone else had a problem with the sound not being quite loud enough at top volume?

No issues here. I have to keep my volume down around 20 as it gets very loud.

Also, with the Nvidia 1060 running by itself are the Nvidia drivers going to be fully compatible to download now, I am still trying to repair another Asus that I can't get the picture working like it did before...

Yes. It's the same drivers as the desktop card. Because, it is the desktop gpu chip.

Can this laptop play all The Sims 3 expansion packs without any problems?

I don't play Sims. But I assume so. It can maintain 60-70 fps in Metro Last Light on max settings which is graphics intense.

Can you upgrade the 128gb solid state drive & 1tb of hard drive?

Yes you can. I installed a Samsung 960 Evo 500 GB in mine. The 1 TB is a standard 2.5" mechanical drive.

I have a Toshiba MJA2160BH laptop hard drive that I need to replace.

I see other brands with larger gb storage, but there does'nt seem to be any identifying information as to whether Im getting the same style or physical size that would fit.
For instance I see a Baracuda 1TB hard drive on line here SKU 8490625 for $139. would this fit my laptop
You need either 2.5" laptop drive. This one says "Desktop" on the box.

To upgrade your Windows version, you must purchase a Windows install disk with a COA. This is a hardware item only.

i need a hard drive for my ps3 and people say that any computer hard drive fits on a ps3. i wanna know if thats true
No. You need a laptop hard drive which is much smaller in physical size. You can get them up to 1 TB. This is a desktop drive which is too big.
