Would you recommend this laptop for a college student? If not, what Dell would you recommend?

what is a wireless adaptor, and is it needed for all wireless laptops?

I'm comparing a Lenovo laptop and this Toshiba, but i'm not seeing any reference to an adaptor with Lenovo. what is the adaptor and is it needed for all laptops?

A wireless adapter is an external network component, usually USB, and enables a non-WiFi computer to connect to wireless networks. Wireless networking capability is built-in to nearly all current laptop computers. You can confirm this by looking for "Wireless networking" under Specifications on the product information page.

Roku players can work with DVD players with built in wifi?

I have a Roku but I'm wondering if a dvd player with wifi for streaming can work together? Can I make the streaming inactive on the dvd player?

I have a Roku and streaming-enabled Blu-ray player connected to my home theater system and they work just fine. If you wish, you can disconnect your Blu-ray player from your home network. This will effectively "disable" the streaming capability. This can be undone at any time by reconnecting your player to your home network. I hope this helps.

What's the most economical nationwide data plan I can purchase with this tablet? Data needs will be minimal, less than 1 gb monthly. Would that be a prepaid plan and how much? My primary need for this tab is use of mobile credit card sales via Square.

Will this laptop be good for video editing
