I originally purchased the TTR2 and love it, and I recently purchased this model for another part of the house and love it as well- To really benefit from the radio you need to be an All Access subscriber to access all the SiriusXM channels on this radio via WIFI connection, which includes the xtra channels, On Demand, and Pandora. The radio is easy to use, the remote has all the basic features on it- (You do need to use the front panel for the Pandora functionality- (Which is not a big deal), and also this model does have the capability of using a rechargeable battery (Available at Gracedigital.com for a option charge) to listen without the need for AC power.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just purchased and glad I did, very simple to use, screen size is great, works great, and has build in handle. Really purchased in case there is power outage and can use than and also for traveling in general, when you dont want to be bothered with Internet.

Are the alarm clocks wake-to-music or just buzzers?
Both, I have the previous model and you can set by buzzer or any channel. In the event if you lose internet, by default the buzzer will be heard.

I'm already subscribed to SiriusXM to my cell phone and to my car do I have to make another subscription if I buy this Wi-Fi Sound Station?
I already have a ALL access subscription and the earlier model of the Soundstation, so you can use the same credentials on your streaming account to this radio, and per SiriusXM as long as you are only listening to one streaming device at a time.

Can this device be used to subscribe to the All Access package, or, a package that allows you to listen EVERY channel that can be received?
I have the previous model, so yes if you subscribe to the all access package you will get all the features with the All access package- (As any All access package with SiriusXM you can only stream one device at a time)

The earlier Serial version numbers were not compatible once SiriusXM changed there systems internally, but if you purchase the later models for example GDI-SXTRTR2 Which BestBuy carries, It will work with no issues, The radio works great and is very user friendly, and they keep on providing firmware updates for new features to match what the app offers.

Some head units are brand compatible. I have a Sirus lifetime subscription, will this unit work for me?
Here is what I was told back in 2019 I have an existing Lifetime subscription and here is the information I was given by SiriusXM direct:
"Effective immediately, you will be permitted to transfer your existing Lifetime subscription from one device to another, any number of times, regardless of when the Lifetime subscription was purchased or whether it is currently associated with a vehicle, home, portable or dock & play radio.
*There is a $75 fee for each permitted transfer. Each of the fees which you may be charged will be subject to applicable taxes."
I was also told recently that the lifetime transfer fee is now only $35.00 for each unlimited transfer.

Will there be a home edition of this product?
In addition There will be a Home kit Model:SXDH4 that looks like it will replace SXDH3 - You can use the Home kit from SXDH3 but you are better off waiting till SXDH4 is available as it will have 2 remotes included- (1 for the Tour specifically, and the basic remote that is already included in the SXDH3 for the other existing line of receivers: Onyx Plus, Onyx EZR, Onyx EZ, Onyx, Edge, XpressRCi, XpressRC, XpressR, Stratus 7, Stratus 6, Stratus 5,
