I got this speaker to use in my car which is old and doesn't have a bluetooth radio and I use it for listening to podcasts. It works perfectly well for this purpose but might not be as satisfactory for music.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The stand is roughly 16" X 9" (40cm X 23cm). Sorry I can't help you with your input question.
