We purchased this Sony DVD HD Upconversion Player as a backup to our existing Sony HD DVD Player. These units may become difficult to find, ands since we have a library library of DVDs, we purchased this unit as a "precaution backup." It was on sale so that made the decision even easier. TV performs in a SOLID MANNER. no real issues. The install process by Total Tech reps went very well. It was up and running in a manner of minutes. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the absolute basic resolution/definition of the TCL is just not quite up to the resolution standards of our other Samsung and Vizio TVs. However, the location of this TV is in the kitchen dinette area, so it is adequate for that intended use.

The Epson ET-3850 purchase involved a lot of research on various options. When our Canon Pixma MX 922 printer began to fail, we tried to fix it. But those efforts were unsuccessful. The repair work would have cost more than the printer was actually worth. What a shame! So, we had to make a change decision.
After all the research, the Epson EcoTank system was the best of the options for us to proceed as we needed a reliable printer for all our home printing needs. The total cost of the inks as well as the initial cost of the printer made total sense when thinking of the long term operating costs. Having said that, we still hated to give up our Canon printer as the Canon printing quality was outstanding, second to none. And we knew all of the Canon's idiosyncrasies! It was also a heavy and solidly built printer.
While the Epson printing system is clearly a better long run investment, the actual build quality is not up to the build quality of the Canon MX 922. The Epson has a very light and "plasticy" feel compared to the Canon. But the Epson printing quality, while not quite up to the level of the Canon, is more than acceptable. So, we hope the long-term investment of the Epson ET-3850 will prove out over time.

Does a drain hose come with this unit?
A small hose came with our dehumidifer. We did not want to use the continuous operation, which usually needs longer drain hose. So we went with the standard unit. If you want to make sure you get the longer hose for the continuous drain operation, you will have to specify a slightly different model number. It is the same basic machine, just a little different adapter and hose kit. You'll probably have to make sure you explain your question to your sales advisor before you buy . . . or get the correct model number from Honeywell before ordering online. As I understand it, the different models are the same price, just feature a different kit. Hope this helps.
