The Epson ET 3850 printer is a solid performer. It is an investment in the future. The casing material is a bit too "plasticy" in my opinion and not as solid as other printers we have had, such as the comparable Canon and HP models. That is the biggest negative. Having said that, the functionality is as good as it gets? And the long term printer ink savings will become more important as time goes by. I wish Epson had enclosed better instructions on operating the printer and in using the various tools. When the firmware update does appear in the display screen, I am not sure whether to accept the firmware update or ignore it as the online suggestions are mostly negative on accepting Epson's firmware updates. I am looking forward to years of sold performance as an all-in-one printer.

Our 30 year-old AT&T standalone answering machine began to malfunction and after trying to fix it, we decided to buy a replacement. There weren't many choices. The AT&T model 1740 is a simple and foolproof answering machine for our landline phone. At first glance, my wife said it was too small, that it looked more like a toy, but it is one of the few standalone answering machines on the market. Once we installed it, adjusted the settings and started using it , we felt it does the job very well. So, If you want a standalone unit, this is one of the few left on the market. It works.

The Legrand in-wall TV power kit is a great alternative to hiring an electrician to install a behind the TV power plug. On this system, you simply cut out a piece of the wall and run the power behind the wall down to the floor board level and install a power plug in that position. From the lower power plug you simply run an extension or a surge protector to a "real" power plug. It works great!

We wanted a wall mount that had a slim profile but would hold up over time. This Sanus mount was the perfect size and had just enough room behind to move wires if it ever became necessary to do that. This was a much better mount than some of the others we have see.

The geek squad agents came to the house and went to work immediately installing the wall mount and then installing my new Samsung 55" TV onto the wall mount. They connected all the wires, making sure all my equipment was hooked up and working properly!! Did a lot of research before deciding on the Samsung Q80 series 55" TV. This TV is in a new room that gets a lot of light. This was the perfect TV for that environment. The TV picture is crisp and clear, and I was able to synch the picture with my ROKU. Since all the other TVs in the house use ROKU, my wife wanted to simplify her life by using the ROKU rather than use the smart function of this TV. Everything worked out great. The size was perfect for the wall space. All in all, it turned out to be a good experience.

Does a drain hose come with this unit?
A small hose came with our dehumidifer. We did not want to use the continuous operation, which usually needs longer drain hose. So we went with the standard unit. If you want to make sure you get the longer hose for the continuous drain operation, you will have to specify a slightly different model number. It is the same basic machine, just a little different adapter and hose kit. You'll probably have to make sure you explain your question to your sales advisor before you buy . . . or get the correct model number from Honeywell before ordering online. As I understand it, the different models are the same price, just feature a different kit. Hope this helps.
