I bought this monitor on sale for $190. I would not recommend it at a higher price point.
The main issue with this monitor is that it is a TN panel vs the better technology IPS display (which is very confusing because HP has another "27q" display that IS an IPS display - see below for a more detailed explanation*). I bought it to replace my older 24" monitor which was an IPS display. As such, I immediately noticed the difference in quality. Text seemed blurry, the color was off, and the viewing angles were blah. I ended up buying a different IPS monitor instead.
Instead of returning this monitor, I started using it as a monitor for gaming and it works (in my opinion) very nicely. Now I'm not a professional or competitive gamer (although I like to win!) so I'm sure people like that would laugh at this display for high-end gaming, but in using this monitor with images that are constantly moving, I do not notice any of the issues that I did while trying to use it for work and general use. I also tend to use it in 1920x1080 mode while gaming and I don't notice a significant drop in sharpness or overall display quality.
*HP has two different "27q" monitor models. This one is the "HP 27q" and there is an "HP Pavilion 27q" model. The Pavilion model is an IPS display. As already mentioned, this particular model without the Pavilion name is, in fact, a TN display. Yes, this is very confusing. Look for the "Pavilion" label and also the other display has a different stand look (like an open "oval" shape instead of a solid rectangle).

This microphone was recommended to me by a professional podcasting company (they've helped many people launch podcasts, including my own, in addition to their own successful line of podcasts). It has great sound quality, is very flexible in use (either USB or XLR, can be easily used with Macintosh or Windows PCs, plus it has a headphone jack for direct monitoring) and the price is extremely reasonable. Because it is a more traditional microphone form factor, then it will work with a variety of mounts. From other reviews I've read, plus the recommendation from my podcasting company, you will not find a much better sound quality unless you are willing to spend hundreds of dollars and even then the difference will only be discernible to the pickiest of ears.

I bought these primarily to use with Zoom calls during the time of COVID. I was tired of being tethered to my computer and also wanted something that could be used with my MacBook and my iPhone. The AirPods Pro sound great, the microphone quality is good, and the option to change from active Noise Cancellation to Transparency really works well for calls because it is sometimes awkward to talk when you can't hear yourself (or others are in the same room who need to talk to you in a business environment). It's also very nice to be able to only use a single earbud for phone calls while in the car, for example. Plus they fairly seamlessly switch from my MacBook to my iPhones. Setup was a breeze as well with my Apple devices. Yes, they are a little pricey, but the convenience, quality, and seamless connectivity with Apple devices makes them well worth it (and they have gone on sale a couple of times in 2020).

I've set up over 20 Linksys Velop mesh networks for clients since they first were released. The performance has always been excellent (especially when joined to a Linksys MR8300, MR9000, or AX6000 as main router/node). While they were always simple to set up, the ease of use and simplicity of the setup has improved over time. The price has also improved. I highly recommend the Velop system

I've set up over 20 Velop mesh networks for clients. They all work wonderfully. I've set up a few with the MR8300 (AC2200) as the main router/node and the performance was even better. When the MR9000 (AC3000) router was introduced, I had an opportunity to use it to set up a 4-node network in a very large house. The performance was as good as any and the MR9000 all by itself covered a whole lot more of the house than I expected. The additional nodes blanketed the entire house in Wi-Fi and the client is thrilled with how well her Internet works now.
If you can get this router on sale, the value is excellent. Otherwise, if you don't have a really (really) large area to cover and want to save some money, look at the MR8300 (especially if it is on sale).

Wait for the HomePod to go on sale as it has periodically in 2020 ($199 instead of $299). I am a technology professional and am pretty hard to impress, but when I first started playing music through my first HomePod it made me double-take. It was super easy to set up and works really well with Siri voice commands. It's a bit pricey at $299 but if you can get it at $199 and are in the need of a really nice wireless speaker for a bedroom, office, or other similar room where you don't have a home entertainment speaker setup already (and are vested in the Apple ecosystem) then you won't be sorry.

I installed this router for a client in their farm house. For a home with plaster walls, this router had amazing signal coverage throughout most of their house and even into their front lawn (where they had a Wi-Fi camera installed on a pole). I added one Velop node to push the coverage out far into their backyard area to cover a garage and a large metal shed.
For as good of a router as this seems to be, I got this router on sale and there was no inventory of other Linksys mesh routers (thanks COVID back-to-school remote learning rush!). Otherwise, price-wise, there may be more affordable choices in the Linksys mesh lineup since most of us won't be able to take advantage of Wi-Fi 6.
