After the Ring doorbell was recommended by my son, I bought one on sale at best Buy. The physical part of the installation was a breeze, but getting it online and working properly was another story indeed. I started with the Chime Pro, but it would not connect to my network, even when it was in a direct 10-foot line of site with my router. I made three calls to Ring help, all of which lasted more than an hour each. On the last call, I only wanted the answer to one question. Will the Ring Video Doorbell Pro work with a Google Wifi? It took more than an hour for them to finally say yes, but they still could not help me get it connected. They told me I needed to call Google. Instead I bought a Netgear router, and had my Chime Pro and my doorbell connected in short order. It still didn't work properly, so I then purchased a doorbell transformer from Ring. That helped, but there are still issues. The settings in the Ring app appear to change at will with no intervention from me. Several times daily the motion notifications turn themselves off, and unless I set the sensitivity at max, it only senses motion that is about 25 feet away when it is on. When I do set it at max sensitivity, it seems like everything in the neighborhood makes it go off. For what could be such a valuable tool, my experience has been far less than satisfactory.

Not sure what the exact question is, but I had an issue until I learned that the space above the "Menu" button is like a touch pad. Finger movements up, down, left, or right, combined with pressing in the middle make navigation and selections on the screen. The other buttons are pretty much self explanatory - menu for menu items, mic for voice commands, pause/play for those functions (there's not a rewind, a voice command such as rewind 5 minutes works), and plus or minus for volume if you have set the remote up to control your TV or audio source. I have not used the button with the screen on it. I have no clue what it does. Takes a bit of getting used to, but it works. Not my favorite remote by far.
