Looks like I'm in the minority for not liking this movie. Thot it was plodding and the characterizations for Henry II (whiny, wimpy, hated the cold, the sight of blood surprisingly considering all the wars he fought ludicrous) and a secret letch for Becket - played with ponderous solemnity by Richard Burton.
I might have liked this better if I hadn't seen The Lion in Winter which to me was the far superior movie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Found a question from a purchaser inquiring how to change the batteries. Response hold lantern upside down, turn base counterclockwise. Tried that; base is on there very tight and am unable to get it off. Any other suggestions?
