After all the hype bought this and couldn't wait for it to be delivered and was extremely disappointed. Frankly have no idea why all the excitement over this. I considered the story line to be just okay to blah and the story was rather boring. Maybe it was the absence of Chadwick Boswick who was the ultimate Black Panther and anyone else didn't cut it and Martin Freeman wasn't the least necessary and have no idea why he was even in it.
Plan on watching it again in case I missed something the first time but not optimistic.
And annoyed paying this amount of money for something I considered mediocre.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I read about Emmett Till years ago and this movie brings home the appalling thing that happened to him and that someone would do this to a child because of his race. I applaud his mother for her stand and refusal to accept his death and her wanting to see these two men and one woman brought to justice.
I highly recommend this movie.

Very disappointing,
Pro's were good CGI and land/ocean scenes were beautiful.
Cons: Young girl at an aquarium encounters guy from 1800's (Cuvier) which was rather ludicrous and dialogue was juvenile (lots of indeed's) - movie geared to kids. Too much gab.
Several experts giving talks - one was a skeleton (huh?) and a small box giving locations or identity of speaker which was so small you could barely read it.
Glad this was inexpensive and off it goes to Goodwill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I never saw the movie since at the time it came out wasn't all that interested but saw the 30th anniversary advertised on TV and liked the music so bought it. It's definitely worth it. Again loved the music, Grey/Swayze had great chemistry, story line was good and frankly hated to see it end. Well worth the time and money.
