I've replaced most of my laptops with SSD drives and haven't looked back. SSD drives have no moving parts so there is no danger of read/write error from bouncing the laptop around while in use and it uses less energy which is good for longer battery life. If you know how to open up your laptop and replace drives, it's very easy to swap out and replace with this one. I would recommend cloning the original HD data to the new SSD drive before swapping out, though. You'll love the new performance enhancement from SSD drives.

Multi-port power charger

I bought this item on a whim after I saw it while walking around Best Buy. Like many people I have multiple items that charge via USB port. I was using a power strip completely filled up with small power transformers to power up and charge my phones, tablet, smartwatches.... etc, and it looked like a mess sitting next to my desk. With this item, now it looks much better (although the 6 USB cables all sticking out of it still looks like a mess of organized spaghetti wires). The best part though is from a distance I can see which device is fully charged by the charge-status LED lights. Red - charging, Green - almost fully charged, No LED light - done charging.

Love my Klipsch earbuds

I bought this to replace another Klipsch earbuds. I've been a fan of Klipsch brand (I own several floor standing speakers) and this one is no exception. The sound quality is very very good, with deep bass and crisp highs. I like these earbuds for their silicon ear canal plugs which block out outside sounds effectively. In fact sometimes I use them to block out outside sound so I can sleep during the day! The sound quality is on par with my Bose headphones too. You won't be disappointed with these.

I like LG phones and own quite a few of them (LG450, K3, K7, K10, Stylo2 Plus). Of the LG family of phones, I would not recommend the K3. The touch screen is somewhat intermittent requiring heavy pressure to have the phone recognize touch sense. The screen scrolling is weird too. When reading text such as email, a slight upward (or downward) movement to scroll the screen sometimes results in a rapid scrolling going way past all the way to the top or bottom of the text resulting me having to backtrack. I'd assume this could be fixed via software update but so far, no updates from LG. This model is on the Virgin Mobile network and it seems to drop the signal a lot although it does pick up the signal quickly after. My HTC phone that was also on the Virgin Mobile network didn't do that. It's possible that this K3 phone is defective and I just happen to have gotten a defective one. I still like LG phones and if this one completely malfunctions I'll just get another LG phone, just not this one.

I purchased this phone for use with T-Mobile SIM card. It works well and I'm happy with the price I paid for it. The price of the phone (unlocked) is low enough and if I destroy the phone while using it at work (and it was purchased for use at work only) it won't faze me and I can replace it with another one. The phone's performance isn't bad either. I don't play games on it, I don't use it for social media, or playing music or watching videos.... it's for making and taking phone calls, receiving text/mms messages and email for work and for those functions, it's perfect. I suppose if you want to do those things the phone will function well enough. Just remember, the internal memory isn't that high and you'll need sdcard to add additional memory for data storage. If you tend to load LOTS of apps (and most of them load only into internal memory) you may be disappointed. For me, though, this phone works perfectly and I question the need for very expensive phones that do basically the same thing.

Pebble Time 2 with Heart Rate Monitor

I'm sad to learn that Pebble went out of business. I've been a fan of Pebble since their startup and own 17 Pebble watches. With that said, I saw the latest (and last of the Pebble produced watch) the Pebble Time 2 with HR and decided to purchase one anyway. I am glad that I picked one up. Even though the future of Pebble watches are numbered, I think this watch will continue to function well after Fitbit (who bought out Pebble) shuts down the SDK and servers for internet connectivity. I use it mostly for notification and as a normal watch therefore internet connectivity isn't really an issue for me. The Heart Rate monitor seem to work pretty good but the watch does need to be on wrist a bit tighter than I normally wear for it to reliably read the heart rate. The black/white display is still the best for bright light reading and I really like the looks of the new design. I wish Fitbit had continued support for Pebble after their purchase of the company but who knows if the Pebble engineers and die-hard supporters will breathe new life into the existing product with one more firmware update. In any case, I also own many Android Wear smartwatches but I seem to gravitate toward Pebble watches as my main daily wear watch. Would I recommend the watch to friends and family? Yes... but with an explanation of it's future functionality and potential for loss of some functions once Fitbit shuts down the server at the end of 2017. Would I still buy remaining Pebble watches? Yes I would.

I own many smartwatches (ASUS, LG, Huawei, Pebble... and many more brands....) and I keep going back to the Pebble Watch as my go-to smartwatch. I have the Pebble Classic, Pebble Steel, Time, Time Steel and Time Round in my collection in various different colors and bands and I rotate them around wearing them different days of the week. Yes, Pebble Watches aren't as fancy as the other smartwatches but for what I need (telling time and receiving notifications) it's PERFECT!! Its capabilities are just as good as my Android Wear watches for how I use them. I especially love the battery life between charges (5 to 7 days depending on the watch and how often I receive messages... except for Time Round - 2 days) and being able to read the display in bright sunlight. I intend to purchase the Time 2 series when they become available in retail stores and highly recommend them to friends and co-workers who ask me about smartwatches.

Does this work on a standard desktop setup? SSD 2.5 slot is already integrated into the desktop I have.
A SSD drive is no different than a regular hard disk drive when it comes to installation and connection to the motherboard as long as the drive interface is the same (SATA connection on the motherboard of the computer and SATA connection on the hard drive). I've swapped out "regular" spinning platter based hard drives with SSD drive on many computers (desktops and laptops) and all have worked very well. In fact, I prefer to use SSD drives on laptops because the SSD drives are all solid state memory chips with no moving parts. It also uses less power. The benefits of using the SSD in a laptop is since it has no moving parts you can't induce read/write errors with hard bumps or knocks while the drive is in use reading or writing data. In a desktop installation, since you're not going to carry it around as you would a laptop while using it the benefits of "no moving parts" are not as valuable however, the increase in data access speed is. If your desktop computer already has a 2.5" hard drive slot available the 2.5" SSD drive will fit perfectly. The mounting screw holes will line up perfectly and you should have no problems mounting the drive. If you only have the larger hard drive slots (for the 3.5" drives) you can use an adapter that you mount the 2.5" drive on to then mount the adapter into the 3.5" drive slot.
