Workhorse and timesaver!

This Epson double-sided scanner is even more wonderful than I thought. I became Treasurer of a nonprofit and years of files need scanning. This machine caught my eye.
1. Packed securely and easy to take out of the box. No assembly required! The unit is small and compact and folds closed quickly. Recommend keeping it closed to keep the dust out when not in use.
2. Follow the simple instructions. Download ALL of the software. This takes the most time of the whole setup, but it's not that long. I have a screwy router, so I completed the wireless hookup by connecting the scanner to my laptop. Easy peasy. Took about a minute.
3. Time to scan! Wow! Fast, accurate! I did a few small things to get than hang of the software. Then I threw it 40 pages of bank statements for a fiscal year. Some were crinkled, some were previously stapled (don't forget to remove staples!), some were on think paper, some paper had three-ring holes, some were double-sided, some single-sided. This scanner did not hesitate! in about a minute the stack was scanned.
4. Extras I did not expect:
a. When scanning double-sided, it does not 'copy' a blank page! You can watch thumbnails of the scanning in progress and see if it looks alright.
b. After scanning, you are presented with various choices, including saving to your computer, saving to Dropbox, Google Drive. Evernote, put in Receipt Manager (for Quickbooks! ) save to Word, Excel or Powerpoint! Especially nice for what I am doing by uploading old records to Google Drive is that I input my login credentials once and it is seamless.
c. Quiet. Very quiet....
d. Being small and wireless, it can set anywhere when not in use, including a drawer, on top of a cabinet, etc. No need to keep on the desk or printer stand when not in use.
Overall, I give this scanner my highest marks. I thought it would save time for me, but it will work better than I imagined.

The Dell Desktop is a great machine and came out of the box ready to work. Took about ten minutes to get it set up, registered and updated! It is a full-size box, with loads of room to add additional drives of specialty cards. The styling is very sleek with two USB 3.0 ports on the front, along with SD drive and CD/DVD writer. I like the fact that there are not any little 'doors' to be hanging open or break off! The back has four USB ports and at least three empty full size slots (one is taken up with the excellent video card). Finally, in physical aspects, the machine is very quiet and is not generating heat. Came with standard wired mouse and keyboard, which was great since I had not bought any!
On performance, I tried to slow down the machine by opening several apps and programs, running video from the DVD and streaming at the same time and did not have any problems at all with any slow downs or crashes. Smoooooooooth would be the word I would use for this machine.
I have a high end digital camera and do livestock photography. I also create webinars and podcasts for my day job and I know that this machine will be my workhorse for getting things done. With a couple of big monitors, I feel like I can work on several items at once. I've had Dell machines at my work, but this is my first Dell desktop. I am very very pleased with it!

Beautiful Color, quick response, solid style

This is definitely the thinnest monitor I have ever seen. It is lightweight, too! Taking it out of the box, it was ready to go. The base and stand are metal, not flimsy plastic like many monitors. This allows it to sit solidly on the desk. The only physical adjustment for the monitor is tilting the screen. It does not swivel or have height adjustment, which is why the monitor does not receive five stars. All of the adjustment buttons are under the bottom right-hand side of the screen. Another item missing from the monitor is a USB port. Although the computer does have ample USB ports, I like when the monitor also has them because it's easy to connect a thumb drive or other peripheral to the monitor rather than fumbling around with the desktop unit.
The color on the monitor is excellent. I have used it to look at blueray videos, zoomed in pictures, and streaming video. In every case, the monitor showed as much detail as the particular media could offer. I also have another brand of monitor that is a similar size and age. Hands down the Dell monitor is the best overall for picture quality, and the Dell does not show any random lines or squiggles. One neat item is that it has two HDMI inputs. So, I can have it hooked up always to the desktop unit, and keep a second cord attached for times I want a larger screen while using my desktop. It's fairly easy to switch between HDMI 1 and HDMI 2.
Overall, I highly recommend this monitor

LIghtweight, nice sound, inexpensive

These headphones are a nice inexpensive thing to have around. I was excited to try them. I do not use headphones often, but needed a pair near my laptop in my home office so that I could listen to video without disturbing my husband. These headphones are PERFECT for that purpose.
I charged the headphones with the included cord and then easily connected them to my laptop. I started up an Amazon Prime movie and was delighted!! the earphones were comfortable, lightweight and soft on the ears. The sound was great for movies, coming in stereo.
The worst part about these headphones was getting them out of the package! The were very securely packaged! Be careful opening the bottom rectangular part so you do not rip the alternate earphone covers or the instructions!
