This cord is just what you'd expect from the folks at Belkin. I go through a lot of lightening cords, between the house, farm, office and truck. I had had several brands, some good and some bad. This cord has a good heft to it, yet remains flexible. I have yet to have an 'incomplete' connect to my iphone like you get with cheap cords. The bonus is the little leather wrap that keeps it coiled when not in use. Will buy again.

Easy setup, expanded range

I live in a rural area in a metal house (heavily insulated). So, our internet service had been a hot spot for a few years--- and we finally got stationary broadband service! This Linksys router seemed to be the perfect tool for us since we have several computers, phones, TVs, heck, even the vacuum bot is connected.
Installation was a breeze once I realized the Linksys app would be on my phone, not my laptop (been a while since I installed a router). Once I had the program on my phone, it took about 15 minutes total to install both the router and a Velop mesh module. The app on my phone allowed me to rename the system, set the password and enable the Velop. Most of the time was allowing the router to do whatever it did to automatically set itself up. Once done, I requested a firmware update which took about 15 minutes. Now, this will be done automatically late at night.
I put the router through a stringent test by trying it outside the house (worked through the metal walls!) and across the barn end of the house with no problems. The router is on the second floor near the stairway and it worked fine alone. Once I added the Velop module to the first floor, it was super. I can run streaming TV and several other things at once without a hiccup. The nice thing is that if I feel I need to extend further, I can add another Velop module...which I think would extend the wifi to the guest quarters at the other end of the 100 foot building.
Another little thing I preferred is that I do not have separate wifi names for the different speeds, just one. No worries on deciding which band to use, this clever router does it for me! The app also lets you prioritize which things get first dibs on the bandwidth. Clever!

Excellent sound capture, easy to use

I am using the Go Mic at my office at a university to capture workshop sounds! Totally fabulous results even though we are not experts in videography by any measure. We have used it with Iphones and handheld video cameras and are very pleased with the results. We spent about 30 minutes practicing before actually using the mic. Quick and easy.
I have also used this when doing videos of my goat herd for sales purposes. With the lavalier, I don't have to worry about not capturing my voice due to turning my head or moving the camera. Overall I think this Go Mic is perfect for the casual user..... might be the gateway to even fancier things!

Strong suction, big dust bin

The Sharik ion robot is my second floor robot. I live on a farm and dirt is part of our life.
The robot is very sturdy and has great power for driving it over various types of floor, from vinyl to carpet. The power wheels have a nice tread. It also seems to have a great sense of where it is and when to slow down and turn. I watched it navigate cords without sucking them in! Woo! As expected in a Shark, it was very easy to remove and empty the extra large dirt bin. Because of the amount of dust in my house (it IS a farm), I am going to buy a second filter so I can have one rinsed and drying on alternate days. When it started getting low on power, it shut down its sucking and headed for the charging station.
The robot has three power levels. On quiet it uses less power, but I did not find it much quieter than the normal vacuum level. It definitely picks up the pet hair, find dust and clods of dirt though! An interesting point is that this robot did not bother my dogs. My other one does.
The robot comes with a handheld vacuum, which is quite nice. the little handheld is lightweight and charges on the same stand. There are three attachments for the handheld: brush, crevice and flat tool for sucking up pet hair. I was disappointed that there was no place to store the handheld attachments, either on the charging station or the handheld itself. This surprised me as most Shark products are cleverly designed to be helpful to the user. This what part of the reason I reduced my rating.
On the robot, I was surprised that there was not a regular 'remote' that could be used to steer the robot or set a pattern of cleaning. Also the instructions did not indicate if more than one phone could be tied to the robot, or if it would work if the internet is down (I assume it would still work). So my rating is reduced to four for the lack of storage for the handheld (really would be simple to have points on the charging station to store them!), lack of information about using more than one phone, lack of information about lack of internet, and lack of being able to steer the robot from the phone or from the (missing) remote control. This is the best vacuuming robot I have seen in action and the drive wheels enable it to get over things that are over half an inch high, including cords, rugs, and doorways.

Thin, lightweight, classy!

This folio is extremely thin and lightweight, rivaling other brands. I i7 processor is quick and responsive and the ram is sufficient for on the go computing. I've used this machine for over a week and am impressed with its function and utility.
On looks, this folio wins. The metal parts of the machine are a cocoa brown metal, which is easy on the eyes. The unique feature is the leather case that it comes in, which looks very like a leather portfolio that holds a paper notepad for a meeting. Super nice feel on the wrists while typing and a slight extra cushioning as well.
The screen is connected to the base at the middle back of the screen, allowing the user to easily tent it forward across the keyboard in a tilted table mode, or laid flat out across the keyboard for a flat on the table tablet.... The screen itself looks to be about a quarter-inch thin, but oh, so, sturdy and substantial feeling. It's a touch screen natch! Some of the thinness is aided by only having small ports for connecting things. It does come with an HDMI adapter to plug into the Thunderbolt port. Also a couple of small usb ports. But with wifi and bluetooth, the need for tons of ports is not as great.
I have always been a fan of the HP touchpad and this time it's no different. Smooth and reliable action. The speakers are high end Bang & Olufsen, located north of the number keys. If you want loud, you can sure get loud with these speakers. I watched a movie on the screen while cooking dinner, with the screen in the tilt mode and felt the sound was just great.
The final interesting piece is a powered stylus. I had a hard time understanding the instructions because they really didn't give any, which I think is odd for an $80 part! Surely they could have spent another two cents on paper to include some instructions, or have instructions online or on the computer! There were also two spare 'nibs' that I guess are to be used if you break the one inside the stylus? Dunno.
Overall I give this folio a super high rating. Everything just seems to work effortlessly, from the keys to the screen to the style and weight. I really look forward to using it for a variety of uses.

Decent sound, very heavy equipment

This soundbar came packaged very well and is very heavy! The setup seemed quite straight-forward as the subwoofer is wireless. I tinkered with the unit for quite a while, first following the directions in the small instruction booklet, then advancing to the online instructions, and finally finding an answer in an online forum. My current television must have been the last model created without an ARC HDMI socket! I was finally able to connect the soundbar to the TV via digital optical cable. Alas, that means I cannot get the full-range of sound from the soundbar. The sound is about the same as I had before, but there are no longer any wires snaking around the living room connecting to my old school receiver.
I really want to give this two stars for the horrible instructions that never mention the possibility that someone is connecting to a TV that doesn't have the right type of HDMI socket. Why not put that in the longer instructions online, or even in the Troubleshooting section? I will also mention that the instructions they give for digital optical do not work and I plugged the BD player directly into an HDMI socket on the television. I also think that the box or other advertisement should be more clear that it will not work for all televisions. Yes, my television is nine years old, but it works beautifully for me! The price of new TVs with the ARC is quite inexpensive, but I am someone who does not replace 'unbroken' things.
As far as using the soundbar, it seems really nice. The subwoofer has no problem connecting. It took a while to figure out how the rocker buttons work on the remote. I do not like these buttons as I have large hands and they are easy to push the wrong direction. I would prefer a left to right button if they are using this type of button, but overall would prefer a true 'rocker' button and not a tiny blip of a button.
I would recommend this to a friend who has a more recent TV.

Easy to use, versatile in kitchen

I was inspired to try out the Ninja Instant Cooker because I have been cooking with a standard pressure cooker and a crock pot for many years. I give the Instant Cooker five stars, but the printed materials rate only a three! On opening the box, I was pleased to find that I had received TWO gaskets, one light and one dark, to separate sweet from savory so as not to transmit smells or tastes. Setting up the appliance took moments and I first ran it through the recommended practice run with water only. I highly recommend you do this! My caution is to make certain that when you release the pressure that it is not beneath your upper cabinets or pointed in your face. One you have release the pressure you'll see what I mean.
The first thing I noticed was the quiet. Old pressure cookers have the weight on the top that 'rocks' and releases some steam. I never saw any steam come out of the Instant Pot until I manually released the pressure. First food I cooked was sweet potatoes. The Pot came up to high pressure in less than five minutes. I forgot to slice the sweet potatoes or skin them, but it turned out fine as the skins slipped right off.
Next, I made hard boiled eggs, or should I say pressured eggs? These are so marvelous from a pressure cooker. The yolks tend to be more centered and the shells slip off at the first crack on the counter. This is where I started not liking the instructions! The Quick Start instructions do not have a 'recipe' for hard boiled eggs! Or yogurt! I also did not find a website listed in the instructions where I could find more ways to use the Instant Cooker. To me, this was a major lost opportunity.
Yep. You can make hard boiled eggs in about 15 minutes! Put a regular steamer basket in the cooker (the ones that 'fan out', like you would steam tamales in). I used the steamer thing that came with the cooker and it did not keep the eggs from moving and cracking. Place your eggs in the steamer basket straight out of the fridge. Set the pressure on high for four minutes, then let the pressure decrease naturally for five minutes. Remove the eggs with a large spoon to an ice bath and let them sit five minutes. So marvelous! Occasionally an egg does crack but it mostly stays in the shell (I guess it cracks later on). Just use any cracked eggs first.
Now, the other great features of the Instant Cooker are the three pressure levels, five slow cooker temps, and large digital display. When you pressure cook, when it reaches the preset time of pressure, it turns off and starts the clock counting up so you know how much 'natural' pressure release time has passed. Having used stove top cookers, I can tell you that this is an unbelievable thing! So accurate! There is also a sear function which I am looking forward to when making chili. Currently, I sear my course grind meat in a stove top pan, then saute the onions and peppers on the stovetop, putting it all in a slow cooker. Now, I will be able to just use one pot!
When you are done with the Cooker, be sure to use hot pads to remove the insert if it is still hot. The ceramic insert was very easy to clean. I recommend removing the gasket, washing and drying thoroughly, before storing it.
Now, back to the printed materials. I feel that I am a pretty accomplished cook, having learned watching Julia Child in the 1960s and doing things the traditional way. Therefore, I already had a grasp of how pressure cookers work and how heat and pressure combine and impact not only the cooking time, but also the intensity of the flavors. A person who had not grown up cooking traditionally would likely benefit from a little science lesson in the book, as well as some recipes beyond pulled pork and such. Eggs! Such a marvel and no mention of hard boiled eggs!

I owned another Shark vacuum that did a pretty good job and it had duo clean as well. This Apex blows it out of the water! First, putting it together was a breeze and did not require any tools! Four simple steps. This machine is much heftier than my other Shark with a HUGE dirt receptacle. And I do mean huge!
First, I vacuumed my house. We have mostly tile floors and we live in the country with dogs, people and dirt. Lots of dirt, especially fine clay. I really hate the dirt and my first Shark has been the only thing that helped me keep it semi-clean. Floor vacuuming with the Apex actually lifted up ALL of the dirt, dog hair, people hair, onion skins, scrap paper, leaves and grass! (I picked a day after we had been working on the ranch). No problem. In fact, it was nearly as clean as if I had mopped it.
Converting to a wand to reach the ceiling is NO problem and the Powered LIft-Away comes in handy when doing stairs--- it basically means that you can lift off the large canister, making it more like an old style canister vac. This version came with the mini-motorized pet brush, crevice tool, pet multi-tool, anti-allergen dust brush and onboard motorized pet tool. There is storage at the back for the crevice tool and the motorized onboard pet tool. My white terrier loves leaving hair on my brown recliner, but now I have a weapon! Also, there are little 'extras' on this machine, like where the hose attaches to the back of the machine when it's in upright vac mode just kind of snaps in, and the cord can latch into the cord wrap area so that it doesn't get sucked in. My one word of caution is to take the dirt cup OUTSIDE to empty it into the trash.... this baby really picks up fine particles and you don't want to get them all over the house!

Easy to use, not heavy bass

I was interested in this speaker because I do LOTS of presentations in my job and the 12 hour speaker time seemed ideal. When I took it out of the box, I was a bit dismayed to see the USB cord was only about 17 inches long! I would think they would have a bit longer cord, say 3 feet? After all, a portable speaker has to be charged! The instruction booklet I would rate a '1' because the type was small and faint. Even with reading glasses, I could not figure it out. Fortunately, the speaker itself was rather intuitive. They should include a better booklet!!! There is no diagram of what the little loop is on a corner. I assume it is for attaching a cord to secure the speaker, but they didn't tell me.
Once charged, it was a snap to connect the speaker to my laptop. The sound is clear and crisp, but I could not tell any difference in the bass between regular and enhanced. For my intended use in presentations and meetings, that is fine! For music lovers, they might want to try something different.

Leightweight, beautiful sound

This pair of earphones is perfect for use while sitting at the desk. I liked them particularly for their comfortable feel and the boom mic. I participate in online meetings, so the mic reduced ambient noise from my side going to the meeting. I asked others at the meeting about the sound quality from the mic and they said it was excellent. I wanted these for use in providing webinars and attending online meetings, so they are perfect.
These are plug in headphones and so they naturally are for a stationary position.They seem to lack enough tension on the head to be good if you were walking around, They would not be a good fit FOR ME in the wireless version, but they are perfect in the wired version.
