Perfect for scanning receipts for my farm

this Epson receipt scanner is perfect for anyone who has to scan a lot of one page items, like ID cards, receipts, and so forth. The scanner came packed securely in a strong box. The 'read first' instructions were clear and straightforward. Really easy to set up, basically plug in and go. First step is downloading the software to your computer and just follow the directions to connect it to your wireless network. (The scanner can also be connected via USB, cable included). It was seamless, did not have to enter any passwords or keys. Installing all the software took less than ten minutes. They also have software for you smart phone.
Whatever you are scanning goes in faceup, head first. the paper guides are super easy to adjust from box store receipt to full page. Scanning an entire page took about two seconds (didn't use a watch) and I was given the option of saving the scan, attach it to email, save in Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, and one drive. Can also send to print or save in word, excel or Powerpoint. Easy to sort through folders to put the scan in the right place.
I would recommend this receipt scanner for anyone who does bookkeeping for a small business (i have a ranch) or a small nonprofit where you need an easy way to scan all receipts and keep up with them. Can also be used to scan an ID card, like when accepting a check or membership account. Overall, this little receipt scanner is just perfect. It has a very small footprint, so it can be put anywhere that is near you desk.

Super StainStriker easy to use and works great

So glad I am able to review this little cleaning machine! It is perfect for spots on carpets, upholstery, cars and even mattresses! It is super easy to prepare for use, use, and clean up afterwards! The machine is quite lightweight, even when filled with water. The unique two bottle cleaning solution lets you have fresh stain fighting and cleaning every time.
Filling the water canister at the kitchen sink was a breeze. Like all Shark vacuums/cleaners, this one is thoughtfully engineered for how real people use products and every bit is clearly notated. the machine is not very heavy and I had not trouble carrying it from job to job..... the first day, I cleaned the upholstered seats in my truck where a 12-pack of soda exploded in the heat--- perfect! Next stop were the dark brown recliners where my dogs lounge. While the dark extraction water was pretty awful, I feel really good knowing that all that dirt is gone! The final piece I cleaned was my mattress. I cannot remove the cover on the mattress, so previously I had just vacuumed and spot cleaned with a sponge. The StainStriker came to my rescue! The best part was that the extracting pulls out a larger amount of the water than I have seen with similar machines. Thus, the mattress was dry in time for bed! Perfect!
the StainStriker has different 'nozzles' for the end of the wand. The crevice tool was great for the truck. The bristle tool worked well on the mattress. Best of all, the Pet tool helped with the dirt and messes my three dogs bring in. Next, I will clean carpet in the vehicles! Living on a farm, we have a lot of dirt, but this StainStriker is small enough to maneuver in tight places.
My recommendation to other users is to dump the dirty water outside or in a toilet. Putting it down the kitchen sink not recommended as dirt can collect and result in a drain clog.

Perfect for my living room

I was excited to get this keyboard/mouse set to use in my living room because it can connect to three items, I can use it for my television (who likes using tv controller to type in streaming passwords ?). Also handy with my tsblet which sits next to my recliner. Just a flip of the selector and you are on a new machine. I also have a desktop wired to the television, so now I am set.
The size and weight of the set is small and featherlight. But typing on Logitech keyboard is always smooth, with no jitters and double letters. I really e joy using it with my tablet because I can ga e the keyboard in my lap and the tablet on the table. This feels more natural to me than using a case keyboard while in a recliner.
Blue tooth connections were a snap and li can see other uses for the set, such as throwing in the backpack with a laptop when giving a presentation at a conference or at a work training. Being untethered from the lsptop (which is usually cabled to the projector) allows me to stand to the side and not block participants view.
This set is perfect for folks who are connected to lots of devices even phones! It’s easy to take a device off and add another. Get this set and you won’t regret it!

I was excited to get this micro fridge as a reviewer because I needed something to use for my goat ranch lab. the fridge was delivered to the door and I was a bit nervous about possible shipping damage, but it was so well packed with rigid foam on all six sides that it came in perfect condition! the box is therefore much bigger than the fridge. to upack it, cut all of the straps that are holding it together, then slide the top and sides upward. This will leave the fridge sitting on a foam base.
Now, this is just a fridge and does not have a freezer compartment. the glass shelves make it easy to segregate items from one another while still being able to view them. the door shelves are perfect for storing bottles or cans.
The fridge came down to proper temperature in a few hours. Plulg it in and make sure to let it get to temp before you add items. As a ranch office fridge, I will be using it to store medicines, bio samples and cold drinks. with the many shelves, we can keep all of these things separate and cool. I can see this being an ideal office fridge, or perfect for using on an outside porch to store cool beverages!
Finally, like a regular kitchen fridge, you can change the 'swing' on the door from right to left, depending on what suits your needs and space limitations. It's an easy task to unscrew the top hinge (shown in picture), take off the door, unscrew bottom hinge, replace on other side, install door and top hinge!

Smooth, fast, moderate priced laptop- A winner!

I was really excited to have the opportunity to get his laptop as a Tech Insider, and I was not disappointed. The laptop started up quickly, and did not show me a ton of extra ads. With the I7 processor at 2.40 ghz and 16 mb of ram, this machine is built to perform. The color on the screen is fantastic and does not disappoint. It has the NVidia card with 6GB to provide that great color at speed. I like the keyboard because it has a numeric keypad on the right which is super helpful. That also means that if you use a bluetooth keyboard, the keypad on that will also work. I usually prefer using a mouse on a computer over a touchpad, but the touchpad on this Asus is large and works well, AND, more importantly, it does not get in the way of my typing!
A new feature I have never seen before this machine is the Antibacterial Guard on the surface of the laptop. This Silver Ion protection is stated to last three years! The research showed that it would inhibit/kill/prevent 99% of bacteria from growing. This is a super feature that will come in handy for me as I work remotely, both from home and in the field. When with coworkers, we often share computers, so this anti bacterial coating seems ideal.
As for the other bells and whistles, the RealTek audiot speaker is located in the hinge of the laptop, out of the way, but pointed towards my face. Music and conversation both sound great. I did video conferencing with a colleague and she said my voice sounded clear and distinct. For connections, there is bluetooth for anything-- mouse, headphones, drives, etc.-- and a standard USB port on each side. there are two USB-C ports on the right, along with CAT cable, HDMI and audio. The only feature that I do not like on this computer is the charging cord. I feel that the "plug to brick" cord is too short and the "brick to laptop" connection is not USB-C, like many others. The cord works perfectly fine, but I just prefer the USB-C charging port. Another great feature is that there are large vents on the sides and back of the machine, helping prevent over-heating.
Overall, I give this laptop five stars for weight, design, speed, usability and the antibacterial coating. The screen size is perfect for doing work with a split screen, but not so large that you can't get it in a backpack. I highly recommend this laptop for a person who needs a reliable machine that works smoothly and charges quickly

Sturdy floor fan, tilts, oscillates, quiet

This fan met my expections. First, it was easy to put together and did not require any tools! IO spent about ten minutes putting the fan together. The instructions were clear and my only difficulty was getting the blade cover centered (I was not paying good attention to the lettering!) the base is really heavy and will prevent tipping or scooting of the fan.
Using the fan is quite easy and it does provide a really good flow while remaining fairly quiet. I like the options it provides, The fan height can be adjusted up and down. There are three air speeds, which are conveniently done by a button rather than by a knob. the fan head has some tilt available, so if you want to point the flow towards the ceiling, that is available. Finally, the oscillating feature is easy to start and stop. So, you have complete control over where the air is pointing and whether the fan moves side-to-side.
This fan has six fan blades, while most fans of this type have only four. I think that is what makes it quieter! The only downside I see is the black color, which will show dust and dirt! But that is a smaller matter.

Precision grooming set

After the pandemic shut things down,I started cutting my husband' s hair using old style, heavy plug-in clippers. I was excited to get this cordless Norelco setup! No more tripping on cords! Even better , these clippers are very lightweight and narrower. This makes it a breeze for trimming around ears and doing neck shaves. Changing the blades and guards is very easy.
This set provides lots of options for all types of grooming besides scalp hair. Beards, moustaches, even eyebrows can be trimmed with this unit. THere is even an attachment for trimming up the nose and ears which hubs said was not uncomfortable.
The charging was fast and seems to last a long time. After cutting my husband's hair, I played with the clippers with different guards and blades trying to deplete the battery but gave up after an hour and it was still going strong. I am really looking forward to being able to do neck trims often. With the precision cut, I will have a lot more confidence doing husband's sideburns without getting too short.
Finally, the storage pouch holds all of the goodies so you are not going to misplace anything you need to stay neat and we'll groomed.this grooming set is perfect for someone who needs precision and does frequent trims. The cordless aspect makes it easier and safer to use in a bathroom

Great OTC hearing aids at great price point

I have worn prescription hearing aids for about four years and was intrigued with hearing aids going OTC this year. The Go Hearing aids exceeded my expectations! I have moderate hearing loss and am not 'missing' a lot of audio ranges, but mostly have muffled hearing.... my current prescription aids are the over the ear type and quite complicated to use at times.
Unpacking the box, I was pleased to find a simple, and complete, user manual. The aids are stored in a small case, just like bluetooth ear buds you might connect to your phone. The magnetically snap into the charging slots and there is a cover. Red is right.... blue is left. The case also serves as a backup charger, which is great for on the go people.
This is a complete set with cleaning tools and extra wax guards and I encourage anyone using these to clean the tips frequently with the tool provided. This keeps the sound channels open. They are so easy to pop in and out! Oh, and they turn on automatically when taken out of the charging case. No fumbling around trying to hit a small button or wheel.
When I first put the aid in my right ear, I heard quite a bit of sound feedback, but it goes away as soon as you stop touching it. The Go Prime has one adjustment button and one 'handle' on each aid. Pushing the button in short one second taps will send the volume up until you max out at 8 level, then send it back to one. I suggest putting it a minimum volume when you start. If you hold the little button for over three seconds, it will change mode, from normal to high-frequency to low-frequency. The user manual gives good descriptions of these. I suggest starting with Normal.
Like any hearing aid, start slow and build up your daily hours. If you have never worn aids, you will be shocked at what you were missing! I was quite pleasantly surprised by these aids. first, they fit snugly in my ear canal and did not feel like they would fall out. Second, they did amplify and clarify spoken words for me, which is my hearing problem. I feel better able to understand speech when I cannot see the person speaking. Third, the convenience of having a small charging case, that also charges when not plugged in, makes these handy to carry around. I work on a farm, mostly alone, and do not normally where aids outside. Having these in my pocket would be grand for times I and talking with a person in the field.
Overall, for the price, these hearing aids exceeded my expectations. For me, they clarified speech and allowed me to up the volume a bit.

Great All-in-One for home or home office use!

I have owned ASUS laptops before, but never a desktop. I am super pleased with the All-in-One for many reasons and recommend it to others. Opening the carton, I found the All-in-one and a box that contained the keyboard, mouse, power cord and Quick Start instructions. Within a few minutes, I had powered up the machine and was connecting to my wifi. Sweet!
The machine is very sleek, sitting on a heavy base that adjusts down 5 degrees and up 20 degrees. There is not a height adjustment, so I placed it on a chemistry textbook to get proper height for me. From the front, there are no visible controls, just a tiny white light on the lower right showing it is on. the screen is very nice, with great color and very responsive touch. All control of the display is done through Windows settings.
The power control is located on the back of the screen about two inches from the bottom on the right side as you face it, easily clicked by your fingers. At first, I kept trying to find a button on the bottom edge, likely because I have other monitors with bottom edge power buttons. Note that there is one button on the bottom edge-- the 'mode' button, which switches use of the screen from all-in-one monitor to second screen on a different computer. This allows you to use the machine as a second computer screen if you like.
On the back you will find several USB 3.0 slots, a 2.0 slot, USB-C slot and HDMI in and out slots. So you can either add another monitor or use the all-in-one as an extra monitor with the mode button. Speaking of that, near the mode button is one USB slot and a port for audio on the lower right side, making it handy to add a USB drive or earphones without moving the all-in-one to get to the back.
The wireless keyboard and mouse have a USB dongle (ie., they are NOT bluetooth). The graphic instructions show that you will find the dongle in the mouse. I put mine into the USB 2.0 slot and it works a treat. The keyboard and mouse come with batteries and are serviceable, but nothing special. I think it's great they were included as it allowed me to get up and running quickly. I will likely add a different mouse due to hand issues, but this one works just fine.
The camera is molded into the top of the monitor and works alright for video conferencing or calls. The downside I found was the lack of a 'cover' to prevent unintentional recording from a remote location. Quick solution is a couple of sticky notes, but I will likely fashion a flipover cover taped to the back and draping over the camera lens.
Now, the performance! This comes with the i5 processor and 8 gb RAM. Once all the updates and settings were in place, I turned on a browser, ran streaming video, opened a video conference program and connected to another computer, and also connected to an external drive where I was asking it to search for a file. This machine did not slow down! As a remote worker, this is about the maximum programs I might have open at once, even if not running them all at once. I am very pleased with this performance as a remote worker who frequently has many programs open at once. It should be noted that the SSD hard drive makes it quick to start and load, but you need to store files in the cloud or removable storage for long-term safety.
In summation, I recommend this machine for someone who wants a computer set up ready to use at all times. I am building a new house with a large kitchen and plan to set this machine in the desk area. I think it is better than keeping a laptop in there because I think the large screen and sleek design will complement the area and allow me to work while not in the home office, or pull up files for cooking! With the large touch screen, I can quickly move from screen to screen without using the mouse, so that is super handy. Plus, the price point is good !

Perfect grinder for my house!

I chose the Insinkerator Power grinder for many reasons. First, well, it's an insinkerator! I have owned several houses and always go with this brand. The installation is a snap. First, install the insinkerator collar in the drain. Then, just lift it up and turn the collar. Done!
Instructions with the unit are very clear for most DIYers. If your last waste disposer was an insinkerator, you don't have to install the mounting collar. Otherwise, disassemble the current drain and closely follow the instructions for tightening a new collar onto the sink. If you are replacing a disposer, you should already have a plug underneath the sink that is operated by a switch. Newer homes also have an on/off switch for a dishwasher and the two plugs can be in the same outlet. If you do not have such a plug already, you will likely need an electrician to install the outlet and switch so that it is in compliance and safe!
On functioning, I found this machine to be fairly quiet, even when I put ice cubes in it. I live on well water and a septic tank, and having the Badger Insinkerator makes a world of difference to avoiding clogs in the drain lines AND to having a problem in the septic tank and drain lines. It grinds up things very small and they easily go on their merry way!
If you have a dishwasher, you can have it empty into the disposal or into the drain tailpiece of the second side of the sink. So don't knock out that dishwasher connection until you decide! I typically use the connection on the Insinkerator because this does provide 'flushing' out of the unit with hot water. Either way is great!
Once installed, this disposer is great for the house.

How do you charge this? Mine was delivered without an owner’s manual and no charging plug
There is a cord that attached to the back of the handle and plugs into the wall. I would contact Shark to send you one.

The box/stand needs to stay within 50 feet of the probe. I went 50 feet from the box and it still worked.

number pad always works. It has no other function
