I bought the original HP DeskJet a few years ago, and have been a fan of the product in all its wonderful iterations and improvements. The 4133e does not disappoint! This DeskJet is perfect for low to medium usage, like, two reams of paper a month max.
This printer is very securely packaged! We saw the delivery person toss it over our fence! I was fearful that the printer was damaged, but was happy to find that the all-in-one was in perfect order! Taking it out of the box, there was a small cardboard container that held the power cord (don't throw that away!) on top and then the printer. Instructions are printed right there for quick setup.
My recommendation to anyone with an HP printer is to make sure you have the HP Smart App on your computer first as this makes the whole connecting experience seamless. You can connect via your home intranet, over the internet, direct wifi or cable (cable not included). My whole farm is on the same intranet, so I chose that method to just connect through the router.
This printer comes with a black cartridge and with a tricolor cartridge, which are easy to install. Printing is at a moderate speed and is one-sided. You can scan or copy from the glass or from the feeder, again, it's one-sided.
Speaking of being at a large place, I already have an HP OfficeJet printer in my office, and can print on it from anywhere on the farm, but I needed something at the house for those times I want to print or scan something and don't want or need to go to the office building. This moderate priced printer is just perfect for the tasks I have in mind!

Great Desktop addition.

I was excited to try this cordless charger for my phone at my desk. I work remotely and spend tons of time in front of the two monitors on my desk and having my phone visible without picking it up, while also charging it!, sounded like a good plan.
At first, I thought the brand name case I had on my phone was appropriate, but unfortunately, it did not work! Phone would not attach to the elevated charger. I had bought the case with the MagSafe in mind a year ago, but must have ended up buying one that was not MagSafe. so, off to BestBuy for a different case! After obtaining another case, I was able to 'stick' my phone on the magnet which put it in view (should it make noises or vibrate) without my having to pick it up. Best of all, it was effortlessly charging the phone without my having to 1.Search for the phone under piles of files and 2. find a charging cord, and 3. insert said cord into the base of the phone. Added bonus is a flat charging surface on the iOttie which can charge your earphones or another phone!
So, make sure your case is approved MagSafe!

Foodi Power MIx useful and easy to use!

I am a fan all all kitchen things "ninja" and this combo mixer/blender does not disappoint!. The box was securely packed and upon opening, the flaps, as always, give you more information, including how to access the manual and available accessories. When I saw dough hooks, I was intrigued!
The base works for both the hand mixer and the immersion blender. Connecting either working end is quite easy, but very secure. I tried the immersion blender first. I pressure cooked a rump roast with carmelized onions. After letting the roast natural pressure release, I placed in on a platter and used the immersion blender in the juices which included the onions and garlic. The immersion blender quickly pulverized and homogenized the gravy. While still on, I drizzle in some corn starch water and , presto!, instant gravy. I will note that the immersion blender has two speeds-- regular and turbo. Holding the blender in my hand, accessing the buttons with my thumb felt very natural. Finally, the blender was easy to wash, but we aware of sharp edges!
I used the mixer attachment to make pancakes, using the regular beater attachments. I will note that thise attachments have some extra curves compared to old-style ones in my 1990s mixer. When you attach the mixer to the base, it seems really long and heavy, but actually it keeps the cord away from the bowl! And, while heavier than aforementioned 90s model, this Ninja is weight balanced, so it does not seem too heavy. By the way, the pancake mix and water (I used complete mix), were combined and fluffed in about 45 seconds. Perfect!
The final thing I would mention is the quality of the materials. The cord is heavy and thick, indicating it will carry a higher load without fraying. This also makes it a bit stiff, but you can counteract that by folding the cord in foot-long sections. Do not 'coil' the cord around the base as this will result in a spiral that will probably get in your way and be aggravating! The cookbook that came with the appliance is actually useful, containing recipes that many cooks would create, including potato soup, tomato soup, quiche, cupcakes and mojitos! Finally, this is not a full-size stand mixer or giant blender! This is designed for those smaller jobs, like whipping one cup of cream, not a quart.
I am storing most of my power mix system in a drawer. I am looking forward to ordering the dough hooks and the chopper attachment. A little fresh pico de gallo goes with anything!

Charges well, does not hold through the phone case

I like the idea of charging my phone without having to fumble with the cords and special attachments, especially in the car! This phone holder/charger plugs easily into the 12v sockets in my truck; I have them in the front and the back. When I laid the phone on the circular disk part, it signalled that it was charging! So far, so good.
Next I adjusted the air vent holder portion and got it arranged at a perfect angle. Even though my phone connects to my truck via bluetooth and I have a big screen on the dash, I figured it would be nice to have the phone closer in the air vent. Alas! My phone will not adhere to the magnetized section of the charger while in its protective case. I removed my phone from the protective case, and it immediately attached itself to the holder.
Thus, my conundrum! I can keep the charger in a cup holder and charge the phone without removing it from the case, OR, I can remove the phone from its case and have it attached magnetically to the charger in the air vent. I was quite disappointed that the popular name brand phone case prevented the phone from attaching via the magnet. I think they should have stated this somewhere in the literature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Daily Sweeper!

This is probably my third or fourth floor robot and my second Shark robot--- and it is perfect for my needs. I live on a farm where there is always dust, dog hair and hay. We recently moved to a new, larger farm and built an apartment in a barn and have sealed, concrete floors (definitely smoother than a lot of tile!).
This robot comes packed very securely, just like all Shark products. Be mindful when unboxing and retain all of the printed 'quick start' guides. My first step was setting up the charger and letting the robot fill its battery. While that is going on, download the Shark App to your phone and start getting familiar with it. You will need to add your robot to you Shark app. I already had the app on my phone, so I just added another robot. Once you are charged up, use the app to let the robot 'map' your house. This is really important. I recommend going around and picking up most things off the floor for the mapping (except furniture). That way, the robot knows where the walls and doors are! This can take a while and it's not vacuuming while it's doing this.
Once mapped, send you robot on its way, either using the app or pushing the button on the top. the robot will begin vacuuming in parallell lines like a minesweeper. It can sense things are in the way and seldom bumps into them like the earlier robots. The volume of noise is pretty low and my dogs adapted to the machine in one day. They did not like my earlier ones that were much louder. If it starts running out of power, it will return to base to charge up. Once it's ready, it will resume the job if it is not finished.
I like that the robot goes under furniture, can go over throw rugs without a burp and generally does its job without a worry. Occasionally, it will suck up something that gives it heartburn, like a q-tip, plastic wrapper or stick, which causes it to send a signal to the app on my phone. It wil vacuum up stray dog kibble and small bits like that. Like all Shark equipment, taking out dirt canisters, rollers or other parts is a breeze.
I have used the mopping function a couple of times. This requires you put the mopping solution and pad on the machine, so it's not a daily thing. I have set it to run in the bathroom and the kitchen with mopping and it does a decent job without a lot of human input. So handy when you are in a hurry and don't have time for a proper mopping.
I run my robot daily and empty the dust canister daily (outside is recommended if you have lots of fine dust). Note that this only has one 'flipper/sweeper' arm on it and that you will occasionally need to sweep or crevice tool vacuum the corners.... but I did watch is pull dog hair from six inches away, so it's getting most of the dust and hair! I also noticed that when I empty the canister, there is some dust on the outside of the robot which falls on its charging pad! (I guess it does not vacuum it's nest!). That is the only thing that is not absolutely perfect about this sweeper. You should get one today.

Compact and speedy charger

I really enjoyed getting this new charger for my new iPhone! This charger is approximately the same size as the old "apple charger cubes" but the prongs to plug it in will retract so that it travels well in a pocket or bag. I found that my phone charged very quickly using this charger and like that is has the usb-c female port which matches the newest iPhone cords that come with the phone.
As always, it's best to use Apple-approved accessories for your items in order to avoid damaging the product. This cube has what it takes to deliver the juice to your batteries and keep you connected to all of your friends via your phone.
Even with a new phone/battery, if you play a lot of games or media on your phone, or have inconsistant wifi, you will likely need to charge it more frequently. This Insignia compact charger is the perfect accessory for you since it is small and easy to carry with you, AND it charges the phone so darn fast! I plan on keeping one at work and one at home so that I will always be able to keep the phone charged.

Great ice for parties or if you have no ice maker!

Like a lot of folks, I wanted to try out a table top ice maker.... since I had been living in an RV for several months and missed ice in my drinks! The Insignia Ice Maker seemed like a good choice. Following the instructions, I washed it out and made a few rounds of ice in the machine. I will note here that this machine MAKES ice cubes, but will not keep them frozen! So, periodically, you need to take out the ice basket and store the cubes in a freezer.
Okay. This machine is very simple to use. Add water to the reservoir in the back and turn it on! Yep, that easy. This works by drizzling water down the metal ice tray, which is really cold. Ice accumulates in the squares and then dumps when full. The water that does not freeze is sent back to the reservoir where it will again send the water drizzling down the ice cube freezer. Just note that this has the same mesmerizing effect as watching a clothes washer or blender...
What I really liked was how fast it made ice. In 30 minutes my ice basket was full! Which means that I could easily set this up and have enough ice for an evening in an hour or less. The cubes were small, which enables them to cool things off quickly (more ice surface area) that larger cubes from a refrigerator. But that also means they can melt more quickly, especially here in Texas! So, I like it better than the ones that make "drive through burger restaurant" ice because that melts too quickly in my area!
Will make 44 pounds of ice in a day, so that's like several bags from the store. For a party, that is great! My ice was not crystal clear, but that is due to the extreme hardness of our water. When I made the cubes with bottled water, they were clear.
Overall, I like the size of the machine (see pic next to paper towel roll for reference), the size of the cubes (see pic of cube in my hand), the speed of ice making and the price point. The only thing I did not like was the drain plug. I would prefer an on/off valve, but the nylon plug works okay.

I have been a Ninja fan for years and was excited to get my hands on this product. The product came securely packed, but there's not much to it-- the 'oven', the cooking pan and the crisper tray. Simple.
Comes with a full color quick start guide in proper English with sample meals. For my first use, I chose white rice, broccoli, and chicken breast. Put one cup rice, two cups water and one can of cream of mushroom soup in the bottom, stirred, and laid fresh broccoli florets on top. Then I put in the crisper tray. To elevate the tray, the legs go out to the side and sit on a ledge (see pic). Put seasoned chicken breast on that closed the lid and chose rapid cooker with the smart button. You use the touch button to choose the type of quick cooking (in this case, Speedi Meal) and then set temp and time, using the recipe book or online meal builder.
At first, it sent steam out of the top vents, but it did not overheat the room at all, much less heat that using the stove. Then after a while, the air fryer elements came on and it cooked the chicken more. As you can see from the pics, it put a nice brown on the chicken. Once done, I removed the chicken and then the tray with tongs, stirred up the rice and broccoli, coarsely chopped the chicken and stirred it in. Topped with cheddar cheese and closed the lid. The broccoli was slightly over cooked, so next time I would add it later (you can open while in use as it is not a pressure cooker). After serving two people, I closed the lid and this kept the food warm for a long time.
I have had air fryers in the past and was disappointed in their single use and large footprint-0- where to store them! The Speedi seems to give me an air fryer that also steams, bakes, can slow cook, sear and more Even Sous Vide! Lol. I am currently living in an RV for the next six months, so the Speedi will be a joy to have since it does not take up all the space and can do several things. I really hate cooking on the stove in an RV as it is so hot! I have room on my counter for both my Ninja Foodi and Speedi, so we should be eating well!
Finally, super easy to clean. No need to baking spray or anything. Looking forward to experimenting with the Speedi!

Perfect in noisy environments, comfortable.

I wanted this headset because it had the boom mic and the detachable earphone. I work online most all day and am in a noisy area, so having headphones is a must. I also work outside on tractors! So, inside, I can have just one earphone so I can hear others talking in my office, while outside I use two earphones to block the roaring diesel engine!
The fit is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The mic swings up out of the way and is also bendable, allowing you to get it the perfect distance from your mouth (one inch). Detaching the earphone was super easy once I got the right angle on it. I was nervous about just yanking it out, but it a usb-c connection, so really nothing to be nervous about. Once that is off, the piece that is next to your scalp/head is on a pivot and is kinda of soft, so it does NOT dig into your head or hurt in any way.
It did take a few minutes to get used to the side buttons as it has a "parrot" button for connecting to your phone or tablet and this can be configured to use your favorite voice commands. I also connected to my desktop windows machine, but as they note, it is designed for the phone/tablet interface and calling over the road, and less for the desktop. I did quite like using it on the tractor, connected to my phone, so that I can receive messages and calls when out away from the house.
A full charge lasts a long time and they come with a nice semi-hard case to protect them. Overall, useful on the road-- or tractor!!!

Excellent mini mechanical keyboard

I was looking for a bluetooth, wireless MECHANICAL keyboard and was delighted with this one from Logitech. What's really neat about this one is that it is rechargeable and keeps a charge for a very long time. I am often out of the office, either at a conference or in the field, so I am always looking for the perfect keyboard. This one is about 12 x 5 inches, has feet to change the slant/angle of the keyboard and best of all-- mechanical keys!
if you type fast and type a lot, the mechanical keys will take a beating and keep on working. I have 'typed out' several membrane keyboards and when one key stops working properly, the keyboard is useless. Mechanical keys are superior for durability, plus have a little 'click' sound. I find that I type more accurately with this keyboard, particularly in my lap or in an out of office situation. I like having the feel of the spring pushing back on my fingers when I type, so this is great. It is not totally silent but it's not as loud and old fashioned mechanicals.
The bluetooth connection is effortless and you can assign the keyboard to three different platforms, so it's easy to switch from your desktop to a laptop to your phone. It charges through USB-C cable and I have not run out of juice yet! specs say it will last two weeks with the keyboard lighting on, or super long without the lighting (months). comes with a logi Bolt receiver if you don't want bluetooth connectivity. (There is no 'storage' slot on the keyboard for the Bolt receiver).
Overall, I will enjoy using this keyboard in the field or on the couch. May pick up the one with extended keypad for office use, making it simple to switch between desktop and laptop and do accounting work.
