Very nice monitor, but lots of work...

I got the S271HL as an upgrade from an Acer 24" that worked seamlessly right out of the box several years ago. My experience with getting the S271 up and running was no where near as easy...definitely not plug and play. Using the enclosed VGA cable, the monitor showed my desktop picture and nothing else. Trying the HDMI, I got video and no audio. In the end, I spoke with an Acer upper tier agent to get some assistance. At first he said the problem was an issue with Win 10, but that was not the case. Using HDMI, I had to hook up external speakers, because the speakers built into the laptop I use at my desk apparently would not connect with the S271 as they with the 24". Then, trying the enclosed VGA cable and some trial and error, we were finally able to that to work also.
Now that it's working, I really like the S271 . It's a very good monitor at a reasonable price. For its screen size, it's light weight and quite compact ....thin in depth and screen borders. For a non-gamer as I, the video quality and overall performance are quite good. The audio quality is really dependent on what ever you are hooking it up to. For audio and the HDMI hookup, I'm using Altec Lansing speakers, and that combination works just fine. Now that I have actually got it operational, thanks to Acer, I would recommend it to anyone wanting to move up in monitor size. It would be a good buy.

I have had an amplified Mohu 50 on an in-home office TV for several years, and it still performs well. As I have moved to an area further from the "local" TV stations, I upgraded to the amplified Supreme, because it affords a greater range of reception. Once again, Mohu does not disappoint. Set up takes only minutes. Turn on your TV to a local channel and test for the ideal spot to pin up the antenna (It's not small.). When done, run a channel scan, and be amazed how many digital channels the Supreme will locate. I did not find the antenna to be as omnidirectional as it is advertised to be; however, that did not present a problem. I am very pleased and certainly recommend the Supreme, whether you are cable-cutting or simply hooking up a TV outside your cable set up.

Decent Watch - Bad App

Epson View app: Because you need to download the app to set up the watch, I'll deal with it first. The app has a user rating of 2.9, not a good indicator; and the app lives down to that rating. After downloading the app to my phone and tablet., I attempted to set up an account. After entering the required info and hitting the execute button, nothing happened. After several failed attempts on both my phone and my tablet, I quit in frustration. Later in the day, I attempted again with my tablet and was successful. Now, I can access it on my tablet, but I cannot on my phone. The app won't recognize my login via the phone. Both phone and tablet are Galaxy androids, so go figure! Furthermore, the app has the tendency to freeze up on occasion.
J-307 watch: The watch is large, yet not heavy. The band is probably stronger than it feels, and had lots of holes, so it should comfortably fit pretty much any wrist size. As a workout watch it has a good solid look and has multiple functions, including GPS. However, the watch face does not show much other than time, date, and HR. The other functions are available by using a variety of push buttons on the sides of the watch. What this amounts to is a lot of button pushing to access your workout information. In addition to the access busy work, you'll need to interact with the quirky app on your phone/tablet. This is presuming it hasn't frozen up on you. Thus, it is unfortunate the watch is not as self-contained as it should be Thus far, it does appear to measure accurately enough. Though, as said, it's a lot of work to get to data.

The Arlo Pro 2 system delivers what it promises right out of the box. Download the Arlo app and go straight to the easy set up. Follow the instructions as provided, and your cameras can be up and running in just a few minutes. The 1080p cameras are wireless (wired option is available in the kit), giving great flexibility of placement. Also, they are indoor/outdoor; though for the latter, I would suggest it be sheltered. If you use the included magnets for wall mounting, be assured they provide a strong bond. Coverage range and the video/audio capture is very good. If activity is detected, a signal is sent to your phone/tablet. You can then see what the camera is seeing. One caveat, there is a slight delay in the capture time, but not so much it should be a problem. If unneeded, files created by activity captures are easily deleted from history. If a problem is captured, the files can easily be shared. This is a great 2-camera system. If you have a large area or multiple locations you wish to cover, you might consider the Pro 2 4-camera system.

I was impressed with the 750 right out of the box. It looks good, isn't heavy, and essentially is ready to go after you easily install the side brushes. Also, the app is quick and easy to install and set up. After charging the 750, I set it to work. The first thing I noticed is that, for a vac, it is very quiet. Also, you get lots of usage out of a charge. What kept me from giving 5 stars is as follows: I put out some cereal bits (that little stuff at the bottom of the bag of cereal) to see what would happen. When the 750 approached the bits, it sucked up some, but the brushes sent bits in all directions. Because the 750 runs a random course, it took a long time to get back to the bits and then dispersed them even more so. I tried the circular spot cleaning setting, and it picked up more bits, but the brushes still flung more away from the area. Eventually the 750 returned back to the dock, leaving me scattered cereal bits to clean up. When I went to check the dust bin to see what the 750 had actually picked up, I lifted the vac only to have it drop cereal bits onto the floor from the brush roller on the device bottom. The brush area was full of bits that had not gone into the bin. To clean up that mess, I used my handy Shark upright, and the cereal bits disappeared.
If you want to save your time and energy and "dust" a relatively small floor area on a every day or so basis, the 750 should quietly do a good job for you. With that caveat, I would recommend it.

Nice cameras, but.....

The best I can say about these cameras is they work as advertised. They do a great job of catching sound and motion.Setup of one camera was easy. The second camera took a lot longer, because the QR code scan didn’t work. I had to get magnifying glass to read the tiny print device code on the camera bottom and set up manually. Then, it worked just fine. Video and audio coverage area is very good and with very good clarity.
What keeps these cameras from being great is:
1. Lack of flexibility of placement because cameras are not cordless, so must have outlet access within 5 feet. This also means you may have an exposed cord and coverage is lost in a power failure.
2. Activity is not recorded automatically, so there is no log to check, if you have had a trespasser in your house. You would have to react to an audible alert on your phone/tablet to manually activate recording, meaning you might be too late to capture the activity.
If the two caveats don't bother you, I do recommend the cameras.

For those who complain about "no signal," he weBoost does not create signals. It only boosts a weak signal, and it does do that as promised. The biggest negative is the connector site heating up so much. What would make it great is if it were wireless, thus overcoming the wiring issues and making for simpler installation. For those with very weak signal problems, the price is not that unreasonable.

The LG-UP970 has the potential to be 5 star; however, there are issues. We'll start with those, so we can end on the positives.
Dislikes: 1. The remote looks like one from a low end device. For it to work, it must be pointed directly at the device; close doesn't count. The on/off button will turn on the TV (non-LG) with the player, but it won't turn the TV off, thus requiring the TV remote. The volume selector does not work with a non-LG TV, thus requiring the TV remote. The response time is a bit slow on occasion.
2. To use closed caption, you must set it up before you start a movie. It cannot be turned on/off during play, which can be done with any other players I have. This is very annoying.
3. There are only two streaming sources available: Netflix and YouTube. Also, there doesn't appear any way to add others to the device menu. Presumably, you will be pairing this with a Smart TV, so it's not necessarily a deal breaker, just odd that LG doesn't include more. I have owned LG TVs which certainly offered more.
4. The device's physical size is wide, taking up much more space than my other 3D BD devices. Fortunately, I have plenty of room available; but, if space is limited, it could be problematic

LIkes: 1. Set up is very easy. Connect to TV, plug it in, connect to wi-fi, and you are good to go.
2. The video quality is excellent, especially when connected to a 4K UHD TV. Watching a 3D movie is amazing. People and objects look so real, it's almost like they are in the room with you.
3. Audio is very good, though one would expect better on a $300 player.

I've had the Philips Avance grill for a few days now and really like it so far. Assemble the parts (a snap), wash the grill, and it is ready to use. Because there are is no flame or hot coals to be concerned about, safety issues are minimized. To cook, use warming setting for a couple of minutes, switch it to "on," then load it up with whatever you plan to grill. I put 4 pork loin "steaks" on, and there was room to spare on the grill surface. Following the suggested cook time shown in the accompanying instructions, the result was very tasty. The infrared cooking process works well. Smoke was minimal, and any drip was caught in the pan (easily removable for cleaning) underneath the grill. Yes, the food may not have the same grilled flavor as from an outdoor grill, but it is the very best of any other electric grills I have tried. Clean up is easy, though not quite as easy as the promo materials imply.
I expect to get a lot of use out of this very nice grill, and the only problem that I have so far is figuring out where I will store it when it's not in use. I'd definitely recommend the Philips Avance grill.

When I first looked at the Gravity Neckband, I was curious but not bowled over. However, after getting it charged and trying it out, I was pleasantly surprised. I paired it with my iPod, a quick and easy process and plugged in my iPod earbuds. Once you get the neckband on your shoulders and around your neck, it's so lightweight you almost forget it's there. What you gain here is a way to listen to your device without the long cord having to be attached to your player, thus avoiding entanglements. Next, I tried the earbuds that come with the device. Sound quality is not quite as good as with the Apple ones, but they are not shabby at all. Lastly, the distance you can get from your device is excellent. Leaving the iPod in my living room, I got great reception through my two story house. This is a clever device that does the job it was meant to do.

Can this camera do motion tracking for People ONLY? And stay still for everything else? Or will it track every movement. I'd rather have it track people only instead of cars driving by etc.

does it connect with local networks, abc, cbs, nbc etc? How many channels or what stations maybe seen in the Frisco, TX area?
Depending on how far you are from the stations' broadcast transmitters, you should be able to receive them. The Pro 60 has a 60 mile range.
