The potential is there, but still limited

An interesting adaptation to bring MetaAI a little closer to usage.
Let's start with the basics... this was realatively easy to setup. maybe took 15 minutes or so to get it all out of the packaging, connected, charged, and ready to use.
The app, was slightly out of date, I am sure they have fixed it by now... some of the steps were not the same as the software, but that is easily fixable with an update.
I LOVED the fact that I could change the voice to Peacemaker (John Cena)...that was really cool.
Taking still shots, and video.. super easy.. and what I will probably use this the most for.

Picture and Video quality was pretty adequate, given this isn't a multi-sense device.
The audio, is a little low in volume, as it sits outside your ears.
When I was playing audio, people near me where not able to hear it.. but I could hear it.
But in a louder setting, not very easy to hear (no good noise canceling).

The transition glasses, did work. Took a few seconds, as you expect, but adequate as a pair of sunglasses.
I did find though after long usage, my eyes would strain a bit. I tried to use them for several hours, to see how long I could tolerate... after about an hour, I had to take a break.
Now, the AI/Meta features... This obviously is going to take more time.
Just using basic "what am I looking at"... sometimes it gave really amazing breakdowns, other times... I was wondering if I was looking at something that my own eyes couldn't identify.

I am looking forward to try this on my next trip to Mexico, to help me read some signs and other things.
Overal.. while I am giving it a 4, it is still going into the novelty category.
Going to continue to use them as sunglasses, and try to do more things... but with winter coming, won't be outside much exploring, so in the spring.

A great doorbell, and a security necessity

I have had video doorbells now for maybe 8+ years, before they were common.
I am upgrading from a Gen 1, Nest doorbell, which is pre-google.

So while installation was pretty "easy", it is the reason for half a star deduction.
I remove my old Nest, and what was nice, is that the mounting holes, lines up perfectly. So no new holes to drill.

The simple wire clip, was so easy to use... just trimmed my old solid wire a bit, and we were up and running. I did NOT have to upgrade my chime sensor, as the old one was in place and still working just fine.
I added the 20degree block, so that it gives a better view of my doorway and part of my driveway.
My half star deduction, has to do with the locking/mounting screw. Even for small hands it is in a tight spot, and you have to get the doorbell PERFECTLY on the bracket, and slide it up.. just a "tick". That wasn't in the video, or text in the app about installation. That little bit of movement to lock the camera on the bracket, is important, for the screw to thread properly. I would recommend testing it out, BEFORE hooking up the wires, and mounting the bracket.
Integration into the Google Home app, was pretty straight forward... We already had the app, due to other products, and an account, so we did not have to set anything up. It did the wifi setup and software pieces, in under 5 minutes. We had to tweak some of the notification settings, and we off and running.
However, this is where my other .5 start deduction is. I understand why Google is sunsetting the legacy Nest app... however, I just don't like Google home interface. It is too busy, and doesn't get me RIGHT to my doorbell when I open it, because it shows me all my other devices. It's a nit-pick, but as a mobile software developer, I would really would have liked to see maybe a dedicated app JUST for the doorbell, and/or cameras.
The picture and audio quality is fantastic on the doorbell.. .so glad that we have updated.

So honestly, if you don't have a video doorbell... get one. They are sooo important nowadays.
This one is a great one to get. My minor nitpicks, are because I am a legacy user, and have some big hands/fingers, that just provided some minor challenges on the install.

Mixed feelings: Feels bulky, but prints great

So I am really torn on this one. So going middle of the road.
Let's go from GREAT to frustrating.
So honestly, the PRINT quality is fantastic. Even on regular stock white paper, the photo print from my iPhone was stellar, and it wasn't even fine mode. No sample photo paper to try, and don't have any around at the moment, but will be getting some, and I can image the quality will get even better.
Prints VERY quick. Full 8.5x11 print, in what felt like under 1 minute, and the print started almost as soon as I hit print from my iPhone.
Good:
Setup was very painless with the iPhone app. I already had the app and an HP account, so that was quick for me... And then it immediately found the printer, used Apple's newest Accessory setup features, and I just had to pick the correct WiFi network. It was under 10 minutes, from unboxing, to setup, to printing.

WiFi signal, picked it up and seems to be strong. With my above average WiFi setup, going to be able to put this printer anywhere in the house
Showed right up on my iPhone to print with, so that is a big plus.
Fair:
Noise level, was hit and miss. On startup, this printer clanged and clunked a LOT and was loud.
When printing the sample pages, it wasn't as quiet as I hoped it would be.. .and I even hit "quiet mode", didn't do anything it seemed like. But when I printed the first real print, it was not overly loud.

Also fair, easy to scan. I rarely use scan features, maybe 10 times a year, but this was easy to use on my desktop Mac, just went right into scanning, and the quality was pretty good.
Sub-Par:
It just feels Bulky, and a little boxy. Taller than my other photo printer, and just felt "big" compared to some other printers. The provided cord is also VERY short, I will have to find a longer one, for most places I plan to put this.

2 cartridges for the ink... I get that this has a 3 month trial for insta ink, we will see how this goes. I don't like that the app tried to immediately to enter my credit card info so they can send me ink after 3+ months, I caught it and was able to go into the credit-card free trial, but they didn't make that default.

But overall this paper tray situation, just seems so different then other printers, and over engineered, for no apparent benefit.
if you can get past the paper tray situation, and the bulky size, this may be a good printer for most people that need to print quality photos, this is going to be good. But I would NOT be using this for the research paper or other long documents.
Will be a good color supplemental printer for the house

So Apple Tags (the actual apple product) are great... but they are pricey. But so great to have for so many reasons... Now there is a lower cost option, and just as good.
Add these to your Keys, Wallet, Luggage, CPAP bag, backpack, sports gear bag, what ever..

SUPER simple to setup. Pull the battery tab, bring it near your iPhone, go to Find My and add-another device.. And then follow the steps, add it under a minute.
Name it, and then you are done. Attach it to what you don't want to lose, and it is right there in your Apple product (iPhone, iPad, Mac). It is great to simply pull it up on my Mac and see all the things I am tracking.
I added one to my CPAP bag for when I travel, just as little bit of precaution, as it is the size of a bathroom tote, and I have left that behind before. Get all the standard "left behind" notices on your phone, as well as being able to bring up the map and see where everything is.
I hope the battery life on these are longer then the actual Apple brand tags, we will see. They say a 1 year... would BE AWESOME if it makes it that long. But at the lower cost, great to have

Higher Cost, for the Higher Performance

This is absolutely the top of the line headphone for gaming, video processing, conferencing, anything... This is top tier.
Upgraded from the previous model for SteelSeries, so already had all the drivers and software installed, so this was really a connect and go situation. super simple, and ready to go.
The design is simplified from our previous PRO model, and lighter it seems. So allowing for better comfort while playing longer games, or listening to audio for what ever reason (entertainment or editing).
have not been able to drain the battery, with practical usage and charging patterns. Very long battery life.
Super clear voices and audio, and great depth to sound. Easy to hear multiple parts of detailed game play, from "behind you" to the sides, etc. Don't have to even raise the volume to high levels to get the detail for great game performance.
So the only down side is the higher cost them most other gaming headsets. It is what it is, and you are getting a lot for what you are paying for. So if you can get it, grab it.

Familiar layout, easy to use, slight size

Overall... great wireless gaming controller.
Super simple to connect, and Windows 11 immediately recognizes it for usage in my games.
First started of with just a basic shooter style game (COD), it was nice... familiar usage to other common controllers, didn't have to do any crazy setups. Quick response, and allowed for an easy game play.
Did notice after the first few rounds, the control may be a little small in my larger hands, but that is going to be a lot of player preference.
Next tried in Forza. While it isn't a steering wheel, it does allow for some good driving to happen.
The lighter weight was nice, so I was able to leave my wrists in my lap, and just drive.

Charging the controller was simple, was able to use the built in USB ports on the computer.
Never ran out of power, after several hours of use. Simply let it charge over night.

The texture of the controller was nice as well, allowed for it to be held on to.
It looks a LOT like a popular controller, so you can mistake it for one.
Overall a good controller to have to dedicate to your PC

Elegant, Great Sound, A tad heavy

Earbuds are nice, convenient even.. but there are times you just want a different experience.
These over the ear noise canceling headphones are very good, and very appealing visually.
Sleek finish, gives them a great appearance. Easy to access buttons for volume, allow you to adjust quickly.

The overall sound quality is stellar, both for music and videos. Deep and clear, and the noise canceling does wonders in most environments. Even on a loud plane, it knocks out most of the background sound.
My first down, is the power/bluetooth button. It is physical up/down switch.. not just a push button. You need to switch the headphones on, and then continue to push up for a moment to do the binding. Very different then most modern headphones, and as much as I move them from device to device, I am concerned I may break it some day.
The pairing tones are soft, and you may miss them.. but overall it is really easy to pair to devices.

My next minor down, is these really are NOT for usage while you are working out.

The last nit pick, the way the headphones fit in the case, you can't leave them in the case, and close the case, while charging (USB-C, which is nice). Just a really minor nit pick.

So back in the day (and even today), a lot of people's solution to single room air-conditioning, were the boxy, clunky, hang it in the window, ugly boxes... We had to find ways to prop them, and not drop them, run the extension cord, just to get some modest air-conditioning.
Well these units are now available, and they work very very well.
More appealing in the room, as it is sleek, and can be positioned a little better, without having to run think heavy extension cords... BUT.. you do still need to be near a window.
VERY easy to setup, if you have a vertical window (up and down opening), crank windows, you will have some challenges with setting this up. Once the vent is in the window, and secure... you ready to go.
Turn it on and role.
Cold air starts to come up in just a few moments.
Not silent, but not crazy loud either. Not like those older style units, that you could hear from blocks away.
I was using this in a work space, that didn't have central air vents... and in 10-15 minutes, you could feel the difference in temperature. Over the next hour, it was very comfortable.
It is heavy though... so you are not going to be moving this up and down stairs, so it is portable in the sense, that you can move it around to fit the room better, but you are not going to use it in one room, then take to another, then move it to another floor, etc.
So this is a good fit, for a home that needs extra air-con, or a work shop, or an insulated garage.

Smooth, Sleek, and Powerful

A great options for most PC users. This is a good sized notebook/laptop. Perfect for the personal that is mobile or has limited workspace.
A bright and sleek, edge to edge touch screen. Vibrant color and quick response. The 13" size, is smaller then most laptops, but bigger then most tablets. The touch screen is a nice option, that is not that common anymore. Makes this a good options for presentations, or as a powerful tablet that runs full PC software.
The OS is Windows 11, the recent version. Check dedicated Windows 11 reviews for details.

The laptop has some weight to it for its size, which is nice. doesn't slide off your lap easily, stays on the desk and doesn't move around much. No full size keyboard (no number pad), which is okay for most users.
What I LOVE though, is that is USB-C powered. Small adapter, and with the USB-C you can EASILY get a 2nd adapter, so many options.
No dedicated HDMI outputs, or older USB ports. So if you want to hook up a monitor and wired keyboard, you will need an inexpensive dongle.
Super fast WiFi connection, at the lastest WIFI 6 levels, giving you wired connective speed at wireless.
I haven't yet been able to drain the battery, and been able to use the laptop for hours for a charge.
Overall, a very good option at a good price point.
Not a gaming power horse, but great for internet, video playback, work, travel, school.

There is a long list of IPL home hair removal devices out there. This is certainly one of the better ones, despite its slightly higher price.
First, IPL is not a QUICK solution, it takes several weeks (sometimes months) to get the long lasting results that most are seeking. It only takes minutes to use, but you need to use it weekly, for long lasting results, and there takes some prep work to.
So the included razor is just a standard disposable one. So not going to review it more than that.
The device it self. The length of the cord is very good. allows for usage in the bathroom or elsewhere. If using around a water source, ensure you are plugging it into a GFCI outlet for safety reasons. the two cords (into the power supply, and then to the device), allow for easy placement on a counter or shelf, or on the floor or chair..
Using the device without the app, is very straight forward.
After you prep and dry your skin, you will take a moment or two in each area, press... flash, and move on. Yes, it does it get hot, sometimes very hot, but that is what it supposed to do. It can take a while to get used to the sensation, but it only lasts for a moment.

It is a nice bonus so you can keep it out of sight, and not in the way.. since you only need it for a few minutes every week.

I was already to buy this TV- seems to be GREAT price!
BUT - IT DOES NOT HAVE 3D. Luckily, this was pointed out by the salesman. He told me that he had even called Samsung to check, and there is a misprint in the specifications,

Which means you just need the other equipment (separate), glasses, Blu-ray player, and material source

There are no visible expansion ports of any type. So if it is possible, you would be talking about completely opening the laptop.. which is something I haven't done, or plan to do.

Will the cameras work with solar cells and battery back-up? Do you offer solar cells? How much power/back-up would be necessary to power these cameras and charge the battery?
The power connect for the camera's are not USB style plugs, they are DC adapter plugs. They don't have a built in battery, and I have not seen one listed by the company as an option...
Solar Cells will need a battery. I am sure you could probably configure something that would work (such as a Goal-Zero with Solar), but the added cost x4 may not be worth the effort.
