Fantastic

Let's just get right too it: Pretty big, Brilliant display, easy to use, perfect for all sorts of applications.
So on a daily basis: I use this as a monitor to extend my gaming my laptop to a second screen, and cranks. It is nice to have the bigger display for several of the games (especially the racing ones).
I also use this for software development second screen, on a different laptop and it is nice with clear text, wide screen, can get a lot done.
Very deep and rich colors. You can see deep details, no flicker, no motion blur...
Down side is no speaker built in for daily usage. But that isn't a big knock, since usually using headphones with the games.
Adjustable elevation, with a good amount of distance, but for me doesn't get high enough to be directly across, so I did have to put something else under the base to get a little higher.
For those that need a tilt, it is there as well, and the angles don't see to degrade at all on the picture. Still very clear and detailed.
So if you need a 2nd screen, or just a larger primary screen... good to go
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has Promise, but will take some time...
on June 21, 2025

So I was very intrigued with the device. As someone taking a GLP-1 medication, to help with my weightless and a technologist, was interested to see what this device could do to help we with the journey.
It is going to take some time, and I am just about 2 weeks into using it, and it says it will take about a month to really get to know me, and my patterns... but so far, it has been interesting.
It is a sleek device, very lightweight, easy to charge in the included charging base... but once again as becoming very common lately, no adapter. They give you the USB wire, but no plug.
It is a charging base, not a direct plug to the device, so don't lose the charging base. BUT!!!
The device is going to last a LONG LONG time between charges, so you a charge, and put the base away.
Setting up the device at first was frustrating.
The iOS Application will need some tweaking, as I was able to get myself into an endless loop during the setup, and had to terminate the app.
A tip: You are going to have to inhale and exhale a LOT harder then you think you will have to.
I recommend on your first attempt, just inhale and exhale SIGNIFICANTLY, so you can see the dot move. I tried many many times and thought the device was broken, because it just wasn't moving the dot.
But now the I know, it is really easy to use.
Takes about 1 minute for the device to turn on, warm up, and capture the data... and then you are done.
One down side, you do need to measure several points in the day, so you can/shoudl carry it with you or have it in an area you frequent a lot.
The data that is shown in the app, is interesting, and the app attempts to explain.
But again, goin to take some time to see it really change or trend... so I can seee what to do to help with my weight loss.
So I am very intrigued on where I will be in 2 months or so, and what the data tells me and my Dr.

Small but mighty
on June 6, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
Everyone doesn't need a laptop, sometimes a desktop is the right solution
Everyone doesn't need a mega gaming rig
Sometimes you just need an updated computer, to do the daily job.
This is that machine.
Small, light, doesn't use a lot of power, perfect solution for the daily desktop user at the office, small business, or home user.
Runs Windows 11, 1000's of reviews out there on Windows 11.
I will only mention that it does seem to seamless support it, but you will need to run updates for about 2 hours after you take it out of the box, to get all the patches and latest versions.
From an out of box point of view, the included keyboard and mouse... these are your very basic wired versions. They do the task, but most likely you are going to want to upgrade them to maybe something wireless, or at least a little more robust.
Regular power cord connection , with enough length to allow this to be on the desk or on the floor in most installation.
Very light, which lend itself to be mounted on a small shelf, but also a little to big to be mounted "hidden", but there are options. One downside to it being so light, you can probably knock it over pretty easily, so be cautious where you put it.
Plenty of the standard USB and USB-C connections, fast WiFi connectivity.
I don't really care for protruding external card mount on the back, but it isn't terrible.
Inside though:
- Uses "laptop" style memory, easily upgradable
- Uses Nvram storage, and there is room to add another chip, or you can easily replace the one if you need more storage.
There is a single expansion port, BUT... not sure what it is going to be used for given the next point.
This is a CUSTOM power supply, and by it size, it is not rated to power any modern large graphics card. So if you decide you need to update or add an expansion card, verify that you are not going to draw to much power.
A custom heat solution for the processor and mother board... so this case will not be used for any upgrading, but if you are considering that... then this probably isn't the unit for you.
However, if you are going to install these at scale (like an entire office), this will be a good solution, but make sure you know your warranty/service solutions, and if you will be able to get parts.
The inclusion of a DisplayPort connection was GREAT!!!! as I was able to connect it to my 49" monitor and it worked PERFECTLY a very nice solution.
If there was a way to give this a 4.5 I would, just a few minor things keep it from a perfect score/option

Near Perfect BEAST!!!!
on May 14, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
This is not the daily commuter, student laptop, or just to Netflix and chill.
This is for the hardcore gamer, developer, video editor, or designer (or all of the above).
Perfect for those that are tight on space or need to move around.
I have been around technology a long time, this is one of the most powerful laptops I have ever used. While not the biggest, it is big compared to most laptops today, but it uses all of that space for good.
This full 18" monitor is GORGEOUS, detailed color, bright, just enough bezel to allow your eyes to stay focused on the screen for what ever you are doing.
Sturdy and firm casing, you can feel it... this isn't flimsy, doesn't dip or tilt like some other large screen mobile devices.
Full sized keyboard with number keypad... Great for a long list of reasons, a lot of laptops get rid of it... it's here and present.
My first dislike, is the big oversized touchpad. I am not a fan of touchpads, especially large ones, that then take a lot of space at the bottom of the deck. Being a touch typist, for almost 40 years, it is a little awkward, but not crazy bad. There is just a lot of space.. .Bling it up with stickers :)
RJ-45 hard line port, HDMI, and your standard USB assortment of ports.
Now for my next negative... Power.
The power brick is BIG!!! and heavy. I get it, this big computer needs the power.
However, it has a custom power connector to the computer on the side. First would have loved it in the back, as the firm cord, jets out further to the left side, and then with its custom port.. can't readily get a replacement. Seems to be compatible with USB-C charging, but haven't tried pushing it.
Thunderbolt ports are going to be really nice, to connect to large monitors. Only tried a single basic connection, worked great, was able to handle my wide screen, with no decline in image performance.
It runs Windows out of the box, not going to review Windows, there are thousands of reviews out there. However, I will say that it took about 2 hours to get it all setup, software and hardware updates, and ready to go.
Once setup though, here comes the performance.
From a gaming point of view, I put it through the most recent Forza, and connected a XBOX controller to play. Racing and graphics was super smooth. The 5080 graphic card, did its job. The computer though didn't even seem like it was pushing itself. Fans were minimal. And the game play was great. no issues at all.
From a design point of view, I fired up Adobe Suite, and was able to do my normal Illustrator usage and editing. The big screen was great, and I was able to send it over to my CNC machine and do its work. I don't do a lot of video editing, but did try it out, and full size videos were playing with no hiccups. Rendering some quick edits were fast, very little lag. Uploads to YouTube were quick on my WiFi, that clocked at over 600mps, but I was far from my WiFi7 access point, so this was on WiFi6.
Lastly I fired up Visual Studio, to do some sample compiles, and it was great.
I typically code on my Mac, but now with this, I will be able to use this Unreal or Unity development, as my Mac is tapping out on that.
This is going to be a laptop I can use for a long time.
Outstanding piece of equipment, looking forward to more title releases in 2025 and 2026, that can tap into all its power.
So to recap: This really gets a 4.25 out of 5:
Pros:
- Big storage
- Big Memory
- Big Screen
- Big Speed
- Big Performance
Con's
- Custom and Large Power Brick
- Big TouchPad and Big "deck" area

Perfect storage for my new MB
on May 12, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
I am old enough to remember getting my first Best Buy Credit Card, to purchase as 200mb (yes MB) hard drive, that was at a $1 a mb. Now here we are with 1TB of LIGHTNING fast storage, for a fraction of that price.
Super simple to install into your MB as your primary or secondary storage. I added it as a 2nd drive to my system. Windows instantly recognized it, formatted and ready for usage in just a few clicks.
Lighting fast. Using it for video editing storage, as well moving over one of my larger games over to the drive, was amazing. No delay in loads, system is not pausing. and SILENT.
Adding this in gives my desktop, performance like my laptop.
Massive size, 1TB is still a lot of room.
Speed tests showing me top performance in data read and write. Minimal spikes on my task manager, and just fluid usage. This is going to be a very nice addition to my daily usage.
Per specs, this Gen 5 will work on older mother boards, but if you have a Gen 5 slot, then use it there to get the most out of it.

Great Solution to those that need microphones
on May 5, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
I have a large portable Sony Speaker. It is great for music, but now I can easily tap into the microphone input on it. This simple solution, gives me two microphones, and now makes this speaker a fantastic portable PA system, as well as enjoy a song or two.
Pros:
- Very slimline design, with no extra cords when in operations
- Microphones connect very quickly to the receiver unit
- Quick charging, and I have yet been able to run them down
- The flat edges on the ring, on the input side of the mic, helps keep the microphones from rolling offer a table or podium
- Light, not very heavy at all, easy to hold and use
- Great sound, both from speaking and the singing (sorry don't see any auto-tune so can't help you there)
Cons:
- Only comes with 1 USB-C cable, and doesn't come with an adapter, you have to provide the adapter and extra cables if you want to charge all three at once
- No carry bag, not even a simple cloth bag would have been good to include
- Would be nice to adjust Mic 1 and Mic 2, or even designate between the two
The nitpics only bring my rating down a little, about a 4.5 overall .
Great add-on to any portable sound system with a 1/4 input, or that stereo you may still have.
The range on the mics seems pretty good. I was able to go all over my deck and also in my basement and they still picked up.

Entry Level, Not a Toy
on April 28, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
Having been around UAV's for a while now, there are a lot to choose from.
This is a fair choice for your first UAV, that has a built in camera that isn't just a novelty/toy.
While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, and features when compared to higher end, it is a good one to get started with and learn how to use them.
It comes with a single battery, which if you are going to go out and fly away from home... you are going to want to get a second one, so you can have nearly a full hour of flight time. Simple to charge, in the provided docking port, uses standards USB-C. However, it doesn't come with the power adapter (a growing trend in electronics). Cable is provided, but you need to provide the power adapter. I would recommend one with two ports, so you can charge both the controller and the battery.
It comes pre-installed with the 4 blades, and has a full set of replacements. I would recommend you purchase an 3rd set, they are small and inexpensive and good to have. I was disappointed that they were not quick release, and you needed to use he provided screw driver to take them on and off. They do fold, for "easier" storage in the provided case. You will need to take your time a bit, when folding them and putting it back in the case, as it is a tight fit. I would considering getting 4 small velcro straps, or small (but not overly tight) rubber bands.
The controller is a good size, BUT... is very very light. Once you put your phone on top (in the provided mount), it is very top heavy. Be cautious with that, as it could tip out of your hand, if you are flying and not paying attention. I found it more out of balance in my hands then I liked, using my iPhone 16 Pro.
The display on the controller contains all the critical functionality, and display. You CAN fly with out adding a phone to setup, which is good if you just want to fly around. But typically you want to see what the UAV is filming, and the added features from the app.
I don't care for the WiFi style connection between the controller and the phone. I would much preferred a physical cable connection, take a little bit of time to get the connection setup.
The app, needs work. First, there was a bug when I first started to use it, said there was a firmware upgrade, and then when it started, said my model didn't match. As of this writing still not fixed, but doesn't stop me from using.
The camera is clear and does capture a good picture. Note, while not on the box or manual, it DOES support a SD card. From some spec sites, it says it maxes out at 128gb. Surprised it doesn't support larger cards, but 128gb will hold several hours of footage, and they are inexpensive so you can have more than one. (Always have more then one, so you are not forced to clear out a card)
The downside of the camera, is its vertical adjustment. It is in pre-determined increments, and not very smooth. I would recommend that you don't adjust the angle of the camera, while recording, unless you plan to edit video later, for a smooth transition.
Flying is pretty consistent with all other UAV's. All 4 AXIS. (Up/Down, Forward/Back, Left/Right, and Rotate). This is where need to take your time to fly in all dimensions, and where this level of UAV helps, as with it's price point you can learn to fly, and not be overly concerned.
It is not going to win and speed races, but it does the job. No more or less loud then other UAV's in it's category. DO NOT fly indoors with this one. It doesn't appear to have all the extra sensors, that will assist with indoor flying. I would only fly this unit outdoors.
Overall, a good entry level UAV, to learn and explore with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Idea... Needs App Advancements
on March 29, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
So this is a split review.... for the overall experience.
I will give the actual bird feeder at 4.75 stars (I only have a very minor issue
I will however give the app only a 3, and they both go together... So hence the overall 4 star.
First the feeder:
Super simple to setup. the camera charges for the first time very quickly on a home charger, and you are ready to go. Snaps right into place, GREAT inclusion of the simple solar panel, and you are ready to go.
It comes out of the box with a hanger style mount, or a base mount to a pipe or PVC.
I went and purchased (for a small cost), the WALL/POST mount. Super simple to mount, and put on the base and worked best in my yard. Installed in less than 5 minutes.
It is great it comes with a nice cup, that you can fill with your bird seed, that fits under the lip, and you can poor right in. My first minor nit pick, is I can eventually see this door breaking, causing some water build up and problems. We will see over time. It is tight, but maybe a bit too tight.
Other than that.. the bird feeder looks great, super simple to setup and mount, and it is ready to go.
Now the APP. I have 15+ years experience building mobile apps.
This app is SOO frustrating to use in many ways.
It doesn't crash, it is stable so far. But..
The navigation is a bit abrupt and clunky. Taping the Live or BB-TV buttons, takes you right into a live feed mode, and it takes a while to see what is going on (5-10s). It should in my opinion, show an information screen, tell the user that it is making a connection, and THEN show the feed, once there is a connection.
There are some sounds/noises the app makes on almost every press of a button.
I have to turn my sound off on the device, as it makes the app very disruptive to use.
Even though I have an iPhone 16 Pro (the 2nd largest screen available), the main display still needs you to scroll, just a bit to see the full imagery.. Needs to be tweaked for one of the most common phone sizes.
Several of the features I can't even try yet, as in the fist week of usage... no birds have visited yet.
It is still cold here in the midwest, so... was hoping for some early friends to visit, but it does say it can take 2-4 weeks before birds find the new source of food and spread the word.
This is going to be a fun little addition to our deck, and we are interested to really see what birds visit our area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heated relief
on March 21, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
So writing this review, while using... because, well you can, and that is a major plus.
As an older person (51), my back is not what it used to be.
I do visit a Chiropractor on a regular basis, but this so far seems to be helping the in-between, and helping make things better.
It is VERY easy to use.
It links to a very friendly app on your phone, that lets you control everything after you put it on.
From heat levels, to vibration, to running a programmed session. VERY easy to use.
It isn't overly loud, but it does make noise when using. So if you are trying to wear and use while doing something, be aware of that. could be disruptive to others in the room when watching TV.
It does get WARM to HOT, based on your levels. I used it at Medium heat, against my office chair, and after the 15 minutes, I had a little sweat going on... just wiped it off with a towel.
The downsides:
- I have a 48-50 waist, and I can "just" get this on. I am only on about 1-2" on the velcro... it is secure, but I would like it to be a bit more.
- The tightening straps, left side, great... Right side, it lands right on the battery pack, so you have to adjust a bit.
- There is no USB-C charging adapter, you have to provide your own. They provide a VERY long wire, which is nice, but you need provide your own plug. Not a very big deal, and is common, but is beaming too common.
Comes with a VERY nice and quality bag, so you can put away when done, and nicely store it, or leave it out in a compact manner.
I have used it multiple times, and I have yet to have a battery dead issue, so it does last a pretty long time, but have not been able to determine how long yet
I would recommend this to a friend!

Portable-Ish, Nice But.. could be better
on March 5, 2025
Posted by: Ebonovic
Now days, everyone basically needs a projector in their stack of electronics.
From the backyard, to the presentation, to the larger room... and their cost has come way down, which makes it very practical.
So let's get into it:
This is touted as a portable theater, which it is. It is lightweight, and can be brought anywhere.
However, out of the box... a few things, that led to a .25 star drop
- No carrying bag. Almost every projector I have purchased in the last 10 years, came with a simple bag, especially when advertised as portable
- BULKY power brick. So you need to find a spot for that power brick, rather then just a cord. Also it is a custom power brick, not using a USB-C connector, so if you lose that brick or forget it.... you may be done with the projector
- Seems silly, but the cap for the lease, will not stay in the projector, falls out with the simplest of movement, and isn't attached. I will be getting a simple Camera lens mount, so I can attach this cap to the projector
- Then you have the remote and the HDMI cable, which if you are bringing it somewhere, with no bag, you need something for that.
Next .25 star down... It has standard 4 modes (Front, Reverse, Front Ceiling, Reverse Ceiling), that is good. Even shows it in the manual. BUT, I can't see any mounting screw holes in the bottom of the project. You would need a full 3rd party mounting kit, rather just a standard mounting solution. I can't seem to locate (didn't look deeply), for an add-on mount. Plus in that configuration, that power brick is going to be an issue.
Built in software, okay, this is a bonus (mostly), having built in support for Youtube and Netflix is good. So you can play just about anything on them.. haven't found anything I couldn't play yet. BUT, this is just YouTube, not YouTubeTv (which are two separate apps)... and didn't see YouTubeTV as an option to download.
So these options are good, if you have a strong WiFi connection, or you can use your phone as a hotspot (say if you are in a park or campground)...
The manual warns about Casting other apps, and protections they may have. For example the manual lists D+ and Hulu as possibly having issues. I didn't have any, but before you go anywhere, check what you want to play. And have a backup plan to play via connected cable instead of casting.
The casting support is Great, provided the projector and the phone (android and iPhone are supported), are on the same network. In many situations, outside your home that may not be an option. I was also able to cast from my iPad and MacBook, so that works.
Audio Support: I didn't try the 3.5mm jack, I just don't have any of those devices anymore. but connecting an external Bluetooth speaker was super easy, and worked well. Great for those video presentations (that I did via a USB Stick). the internal speaker that comes with it is tiny.. not loud at all. While you can play audio through it, I would recommend you don't. Spend a few dollars on a small bluetooth speaker (or go bigger), to get better supported sound.
I did find it odd in the manual, that it recommends NOT to use Excel, Powerpoint, Word... presentation desktop software. I can't see any reason why not to, and they did work via a connected laptop.
Okay, now for picture quality: It is good, for the size of the projector.
it isn't large or bright enough to offset a full room of light, or outdoors... Haven't yet seen a project of this size, in this price range that could ,so that isn't surprising.
But it is bright enough that the room doesn't have to be in total darkness, and ambient light from windows, won't really impact it.
The 1080P support is nice, as I can get a really clear image from Netflix and other sources at that level (only tested movies through Netflix). Crisp images from my laptop and the casting I did as well.
All the standard adjustment are there (keystone, edge adjustment).
I tried to test out the Autofocus, and for the most part it seemed to work well.. .image was always clear.
So overall, solid projector.. but just missed on a few things
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incorrect info. No 3D

I was already to buy this TV- seems to be GREAT price!
BUT - IT DOES NOT HAVE 3D. Luckily, this was pointed out by the salesman. He told me that he had even called Samsung to check, and there is a misprint in the specifications,
If you don't want 3D, this would be great, but it doesn't work for me.

Per Samsung's site, it states as 3D Ready.
Which means you just need the other equipment (separate), glasses, Blu-ray player, and material source
Glasses are about $20 each.
But the TV is a 3D compatible TV

can i use this remote only and not have to go to a different one?

Depends on what is your video source for this. We in fact use the Amazon Fire Cube's remote for all functionality, and the soundbar one just sits in the near by cabinet incase we need it

Set up a gaming station with this LG 24-inch Full HD monitor. AMD Radeon FreeSync technology eliminates screen tearing and stuttering, letting you play AAA titles smoothly, while the IPS display with a wide viewing angle delivers bright, vivid visuals from almost any direction. This LG 24-inch Full HD monitor has an antiglare coating for minimizing reflections.

Description says it’s compatible with Windows. Is it Mac compatible ? Can’t see why it wouldn’t be. But since they don’t specify it, I would rather confirm it is before ordering

Yes it will work with a Mac. If you have an older Mac with an hdmi output, you won’t need anything. If your Mac only has usb-c outputs, you would need the matching dongle

Protect your home inside and out with the eufyCam indoor/outdoor security kit. The high-definition surveillance cameras stream footage of your home direct to your smartphone and alert you to potential dangers. This eufyCam indoor /outdoor security kit provides a military-grade security system that's easy to install and can integrate with various third-party devices.

What is the wifi range for the camera location?

That totally depends on the type, placement, and what is in between the camera and the router. So for some it may be 50ft... clear sight, you can get much further.
It is the 2.4ghz network

Get quick access to favorite drinks with this GE beverage center. The spacious interior holds up to 109 cans or 31 bottles of wine, while the glass door and LED lighting make browsing contents simple. This GE beverage center features five oak shelves for added durability and a natural aesthetic.

When door is open 90 degrees how far does the door extend beyond the side? Can it be installed flush against a wall on the hinge side?

It can NOT be installed flush on the right side. You need at least 2.5 inches to get the door to 90 degrees.

If you ever need to get a shelf out the door needs to open almost 180 degrees

Video editing doesn't have to be daunting or take tons of time. Go from hundreds of mystery folders to a visual view of your videos automatically sorted by date. Use automated editing options and step-by-step guidance to create and share everything from animated GIFs and video collages to new dynamic slideshows and full-length movies.

What type of video files will this work with? Do I need some other software to download the video from the video camera?

Dependent on the type of video camera. Check with your manual if it needs a special software to get the videos off of it.

This software will work with just about any modern video format.
