Simple, Portable, Good on the Go

So while for the last couple years, we haven't had to do many presentations on the go.... that is changing. So this projector, is a good option for those that have to give presentations in spaces, that are not typically designed for it.
It is compact, and very light... which is a good thing. Gone are the days are the bulky, and heavy projector, that you constantly were worried about breaking, and cursing that you brought it along.
It has all the standard projection modes: Front, Behind (reversed), Straight Up (or Upside down if you choose to mount on the ceiling).
Simple power cord, no bulky adapter, easy access HDMI inputs.
I didn't spend the time to connect it to my network, as that isn't how we will be using it. This is going to be a presentation, and maybe outdoor movie projector.
The picture was decent, but you do need to limit extra light, this isn't going to be a projector you use in a full lighted room. The focus was good, and the picture was crisp for what was expected.
It is a great price point as well. The one knock, that I do have... is the ability in the bright spaces. yes, it isn't rated for that, but we don't always have the option to complete kill lights and make it even moderately dark. So if you need that often, this may not be the one for you

Powerful Laptop, works great

New laptops are fun. This one was for my wife, so she can retire her older one that just wasn't cutting anymore.
She isn't a hardcore gamer, but newer titles and the way she uses the machine needed a little more kick. So setup was a piece of cake, pre-installed with Windows 11, out of the box, it only needed to run for about 10-15 minutes tops to get all the latest updates. That as great (and obviously as time goes on, may need to run a little longer but will be quick).
Near instant boot up time, which is great. Push button and in just a moment or too, you are at the login page, and ready to go. Very nice.
So with graphic based programs (Corel Draw and Corel Paint), runs very well. These are older versions so they are not optimized for Windows 11, but still run extremely well on this machine. MS Publisher, runs smooth, even when the project gets very very large, no issues.
The laptop is a little larger then some of the others out there. But in my opinion, that is good. some laptop have been getting so small, that they are almost like tablets. This has a good weight to it. Easy to carry, but also not overly heavy that you can't carry it in a bag for a good while.
The power supply, well... that is bulky, but so far, the battery life has been excellent. So easy enough to use without it.
With back to school in swing, this will make a great laptop for a college student, that needs the power for both school work and downtime

Sleek, good value, solid monitor

This is a great monitor, for the value...
Let's start right off with the negatives, neither really reduce my rating, but need to be noted
- No speakers. That isn't going to be an issue for most gamers, as we all wear headsets, but if you need that in your monitor, this isn't the one you want.
- No DisplayPort / Thunderbolt support directly. Only HDMI inputs, so if you need to use one of those popular video connection types, you will need an adapter.
- Stand is limited. What you see is what you get, doesn't allow the monitor to be rotate 90 degrees, or a lot of flexibility in height and other adjustments, but the monitor is VESA compatible, so there are hundreds of options out there to do that for you.

Colors are deep and vibrant. Easy on the eyes. The standard brightness and contrast controls are there, so you can tweak to the way you like it.
I don't have equipment to measure responsiveness, but from the naked eye, it responds really quick, and perfect for the high paced games that are out now.
No USB ports, but no need for them either. just get yourself a usb hub if you need more connections

A no nonsense, simple case for your expensive investment.
As always with these cases, you need to make sure you have the right one for the right iPad. So make sure you are using a 10.2" iPad, check the actual model numbers and confirm. As these are FORM fitting, there is no wiggle room, for a slightly different sized cases.
The first thing we noticed, was the clear see-through back. This is different, as most cases don't do this. it is a simple thing, but this allows you to see the COLOR of your iPad, if that matters to you. It also allows you to see any custom engraving you may have done as well.
The magnetic closure is great, as that does trigger the iPad's built in screen/sleep functions, so that is going to keep it from getting hot under that cover, as well as not kill the battery.
It has a slot for your Apple Pencil, and that still allows it to charge while in the case. Honestly, if you are not using a pencil with your modern iPad, you are missing out on a lot. And this case will help you not lose it.
While I didn't drop from a great hight, we did try from a small onto a carpet. I mean, the case is designed to take some bumps and bruises, but I don't want to role the dice on it. The bumpers are larger then most, and that looks good too, and it should take some bumps. But your best defense against damage, is simply to avoid the situation
So my only negative... and wish we had a 4.5 waiting option.. . was that this was a bit tougher to get in then I thought. It was really really tight. Once on, it isn't coming off easily, so that is a good thing.
The last thing.. the color is a nice warm muted pink/blush. nice and soft... and the case is comfortable to cary in the hand.

Good but check compatibility & longevity

My review today is going to be specifically focused on the hardware, and not the Square Software and Services; those are independent in my opinion, with the exception of one item which I will note below.
If you are have a consistent need for a P.O.S. or want to up your portable business appearance, then consider this P.O.S.. It gives a much better presentation to your customers, then small touch pad or the phone jack slide, it is also more reliable then the bluetooth (despite that being pretty reliable, this is still better).
So let's start with a key warning/call out: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT iPAD. When I first got this, my name, I thought I had a compatible iPad. I didn't. I have the last generation iPad that was at 9.7". My larger 10.3" iPad, is the newest model, that is on USB-C.

This will still work software/hardware wise with a lightning port edition of the iPad. I just 3D printed a small adapter so I can use this for now, till I upgrade the iPad.
So This goes right to my first .25 star off:
Being a fully molded encasing for the iPad, this runs the risk of not be compatible with future hardware. Apple does not support models for ever, some of the oldest models in the compatibility list, are on their last year of software updates. if Apple chooses to change the size of the next round of iPads, even slightly, that is going to cause an issue if you have an iPad damaged, or it just goes out.

My next .25 star off: I would have hoped that the connector on the device, would have been interchangeable with lightning and USB-C. With the latest EU rolling, it is very likely that lightning ports will be going away permanently. Apple with their newest iPads, have gone to the USB-C connector. Looking at this, I feel it could have been pretty straightforward, to design this to allow that port to be swappable between USB-C and lighting. It is not, so absolutely make sure your iPad is lightning port, and on the compatibility list. I would recommend that if you are using this as your primary P.O.S., you have at least a 2nd iPad ready to go, and maintained, just incase something happens.
My last .5 star off, I will mention below.
now for the good stuff:
- outstanding appearance, looks crisp and a great presentation for your business.
- The rotating base give a lot of freedom, to spin and turn the display. This even allows you to turn the screen to allow the customer to need let go of there own payment type. The can slip in the chip card, or tap (with card, phone or watch), very easy.
- While I haven't done it, since I am a mobile vendor/shows, the mounting option for the base is pretty straight forward, with minimal fuss and destruction to a counter. Feel confident that this won't just walk away.

The power adapter, and the connection is USB-C based, and of higher quality. A good long cord off the power brick, will allow just about any installation to go without problems. Hide the adapter under the counter, and either through a standard grommet or a tiny hole in the counter top and the power can come right into the base.
To take your P.O.S. to the next game, this comes with the required hub so you can add popular accessories: printer, bar code, drawer. I don't have any of those at this time, so I could't test them directly, but when ever I am at other retailers they seem to work flawlessly.
A big tap area and well marked, your customers will know exactly where to tap. and I love this. contact-cashless payments are the way of the future, and seeing right at the top is great.
Large CC-chip insert, will allow ease for the customer to charge via chip.
Both worked perfectly with my testing, and initial sales with it.
Now for my last .5 star deduction... Unless I am totally missing it, I can't see how to use a swipe with this hardware. I know it is a thing that is phasing out, but it is still very much an option for some. I just personally received Visa Gift Cards from a rebate, and no chip, no tap, just swipe.
While I can key in the number via software, we pay a higher percentage on that. So that is a factor to consider, if you think you are going to get a high number of swipes.
So overall, a great a slick piece of hardware to create a modern P.O.S. for the small business.

So overall... This is a good little powered go kart, but will take sometime to figure out.
This is for the kids, sorry adults... 80lb max, and the seat is also pretty small as well, so no... you won't be sneaking in a ride, unless you want to break it.
This is a hoverboard, but comes with the optional kart attachment... it's a combo unit. So it can be used as a hoverboard, or as a go-kart. For my nephew, just went with the combo go kart. Not sure if we will ever try it as a hoverboard.
It takes some time to do the initial assembly, a couple head scratch moments, but overall not all that challenging to get together the first time. Charges quickly, and you are ready to go.
Riding it, try to find a wide open space the first couple times (maybe a closed parking lot), and in general a smooth ground area, to avoid bumps and other shakes. as it is for smaller kids, and they could lose some confidence when it takes a while.
The 5ish MPH, is quick for them, but for us adults... it seems okay almost slow compared to other similar powered rides out there. So no concerns there.
He had a great time, looking forward to riding it again... and again.
Oh... and as a general reminder... please promote safe riding. There is a chance of falling off. Helmet is highly recommended for littles.

Just what the modern TV needs.

Over my many years, I have always gone with the BIG booming sound systems. Starting back with big tower speakers up front, then adding two in the back. And then adding two up on the ceiling.
That works great when you have the space, and don't mind the look, and the complications with it.
This system DOESN'T fully replace my dedicated Dolby Atmos system in the theater room.

but what it does, it does MASSIVELY improve the sound in our living room (our daily watch area), and I will be adding one to our master bedroom (our second primary watching area)
So we upgraded recently our living room TV to 83" LG. Awesome screen. But the sound was just "ok", so was really excited to get this product.
If you have an eARC compatible TV (check your manual), this literally is as easy to setup as: connect HDMI, connect the two power cords (one for the bar and one for the sub), and your done. My LG TV immediately detected it, and set everything up. There was nothing else to do.
The volume controls on the TV control the volume on the bar. It turns auto-on/off, no fuss.
the sound quality is awesome. Really is, amazing to see what this small bar can do. I played the classic Top Gun and Fifth Element, and was so much fun to get that sound back in our living room.
The base I had to turn down, as out of the box it was a little strong for our room.

also the picture makes the bar seem bigger then it really is. This bar was relatively small (I guess compared to the 83" anything would be small).
The only small knocks I have: The included cables are a bit thick and bulky, and don't bend easily, maybe will need to upgrade to something a little more adjustable.
The mounting hooks, are small. I am going to need to purchase a third party kit, to mount this directly to the TV. (not really expecting that to be in the box, as there are so many options out there).
Overall... GREAT PRICE, the easiest setup I have ever had for a piece of AV tech, and adds awesome sound.

So having a family member that has significant allergies, this time of year is challenging. We want the windows open to get the great fresh air, but that brings in the sneezes and sniffles.
Mix in the concerns with everything else in the air, we decided to upgrade our air filter in our master bedroom to this one. and overall it has been great.
First, extremely easy to setup. out of the box, you simply need to remove the plastic on the filter, put it back in... and you are ready to go.
Plug it in tap the button, and it is going. Took it about 3 minutes to identify the current level of the room, and it did it's thing. the fan is nearly silent, you can't hear it. The only way I heard it is sitting right next to it, turning off everything else of sound in the room, and really focused in. Just can't hear it.
In the first night, we woke up to it being 100%... good to go.
As for the allergens and other things.. so far so good. multiple nights with the windows open ,no issues. We will see if it continues the same way, and minimized other health items. But so far so good.

The ONLY nit pick, and maybe I am missing something... is the blue glow from the control panel. it is bright, so we had to turn the unit 180 degrees, so it faced the wall, to minimize the light in the room.
Other then that, no issues.
One downside that this, and all other similar devices... the filter. eventually we will need to get a replacement filter, and looking right now... only once place to get them. so we will see what happens when that day comes

Solid and great for the price

Using this set of headphones, can benefit the gamer and productivity user. No complaints for remote listeners of the microphone output. Easy to use microphone, and can get it in position pretty easy
Good quality of sound, and the volume can get to good volume. Does get a good in-depth audio. so you can hear some of the details in games, that may be critical to a gamer.
Extremely easy setup, nothing complicated.
The ear adjustments stay in place, and the design looks like over time it will resist the #1 place headphones break.
Comfortable for medium length use.
The only knock that I had to give it, is that there is minimal air flow.. and if you wear them for a very long period (I can wear them all day for work), that ears get sore and hot at times... and the larger headband on top, can get a little "headphone head" (like bed head). The overall design seems to be very durable, but a short review can't judge that... will need to possibly update this review, down the road

Pretty good for a mattress in a box

So, if you are looking for a good mattress for a younger family member... or maybe an update to the guest room. or just tired of the larger mattresses, then this is a quality option.
First and foremost, it is simply crazy that they can delivery a full-size matress in the box that size.
Second, this is a two person job. While it can be done by one person, highly recommend two people as it is just cumbersome, and you can easily knock something over, or get hurt. No need to be a hero.

Since this mattress doesn't have any of the traditional supports, springs, etc... it is very flexible, and will easily be able to get around just about any corner, stair way, etc. Also... best if moved by two people, for the same reason, because it does flex, and shift and move.
Now for the important pieces, sleep.. It is firmer then the previous mattress it replaced, and also software at the same time. Let me explain. It is denser so it didn't "give" as much, but also was a lot softer to the feel and comfort, then the previous spring based mattress tha twas there.
It took a few nights for the body to get used to the difference, and to this point... all good. Sleeping soundly and comfortably.
So for the price point, and the options, and for what it is... very good product.
The knock on the one star, is related to the challenges to move it around and get it to where it needed to be. That needs to be planned out a bit

I was already to buy this TV- seems to be GREAT price!
BUT - IT DOES NOT HAVE 3D. Luckily, this was pointed out by the salesman. He told me that he had even called Samsung to check, and there is a misprint in the specifications,

That totally depends on the type, placement, and what is in between the camera and the router. So for some it may be 50ft... clear sight, you can get much further.
