Solid, but could be a tad better

So As apple and other providers, continue the shift away from wire based charging... getting the right wireless charger is going to be important for everyone. This iOttie, is good... but a few additional things and it will be really good.
So this is a Magnetic "mag-safe" charger. So for Apple products you would need one of the later generation phones to work with it. (iPhone 13/14). If you have a case, better check that case as well. My original case, would allow wireless charging, and would allow mag-ring as well... just was too thick to use this style of vertical. So I upgraded my case, to one with a dedicated mag ring and all is good.
Phone stops on to the base, and starts charging immediately. You can feel the vibration, and see the indicator. I haven't really timed the charge, but it is pretty quick. I have this right on my work desk, in a short while I am back to 100% (provided the phone isn't throttling the charge).
One thing I would have liked to see, is an option to adjust the tilt of the device. just a little bit, like between 5-10% degrees would have been grate.
The base charges your AirPods... very simple, drop them into the recessed area, and they charge. works out fine.
So where I would have liked to see improvements.
- This does NOT come with an adapter, you need to provide one that has enough wattage to charge your devices. This was seriously disappointing, as this IS A CHARGING base. it should have come with the wall adapter.
- This does not support your Apple Watch. Yes, I knew that when getting that, but adding that support to a future model, as so many other similar devices have.. would make this a more complete charging base.

Good sound, will benefit most

Great addition to the Meta Quest 2.. the one thing that the Meta Quest 2 lacked out of the box, was quality sound. I missed that from the Rift.
For a while I sued a custom set of ear buds, and that was okay, but still didn't block out all the sound. Now these.
Great sound, easy to connect. Keeps the ear mostly covered (not complete), and provide a pretty good sound for game and other usage. I used this mostly for Beat Saber, and was right into it, and the usage was great.
One down side, and it is minor, that the case I have, they now are a bit snug with the ear piece in place. So need to take some caution there.
really didn't notice a shift in weight, I am sure they are a tad heavier, but really didn't notice during my usage.
These connect to the USB-C port of the head set, and have a pass through USB-C charger. So if you have a setup where your usb-C charging is custom, or anything be prepared to make some adjustments.

Good Sound, but caution on the fit

Very good set of headphones, with just a few minor things.
First they are great audio quality, very clear sound, good tone. Very enjoyable to listen with. I try not to crank up ear buds very loud, and these were not at full volume and were pretty loud, So in most environments should have absolutely no problem.
Follows the current convention for this style. You need the custom carrying case to charge them, and the case carries a bigger battery itself, so you don't need to connect to an actual power source for a while.
The negative on them, for my daughter (the eventual user of these), they just didn't fit her ear right. We tried all different sizes of tips, and they just didn't fit snug, and they would fall out. not sure if it is the design of the straight arm, or just the combination of the ear piece and design, but she couldn't get them to stay. Me, no problem. (And she doesn't have issue with other buds).
Very easy to pair, was able to get this to multiple devices with out a bunch of issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to setup, Easy to use, Great Photos

So we all have our phones now a days, and we are getting pretty good at taking pictures with them. BUT, there are times, when you really want to have the best of the best, and that can't always come from a mobile phone. Only so much can be done there, with the lack of changeable lenses, and all the features that a digital camera like this brings to the table
First setup is very straight forward, battery, memory card, lens and you are ready to go. Taking your first pictures is as simple as turning it on, and clicking the button (yes you actually click a button).
You have all the options on this camera to change your focal length, the way you want to.. not the way some AI picks for you. (or you can leave it in one of the many full and partially automatic modes).
The camera is small, and relatively light weight. not overly bulky out of the box. You can add different Nikon lenses to this, for even more versatility (need a long zoom lens for that bird watching, or one for action photos from the stands? you have those add on options).
With the ability to add third party accessories as well, like a microphone... this camera can also be used to create your next stunning video.
I have been a canon person for a long time... but with some of their recent changes, decided to try this out. And one of my children wants to get into real photography, so this was a good time to make the switch and trial.
If you are looking for that next step beyond the smart phone pictures, and want a TON of flexibility and options, look no further.

You'll get a charge... no frills, just works

So wireless charging is where it is at now days, but is getting to be a challenge with the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, because of the new style of camera area. Some of the previous wireless charging options, just don't work, and you need to go with a magnetic style.
So Pro: It charges, and seems to be fully compliant with the MagRing for Apple, as the phone does detect it as a mag-ring charger (visually able to see that when the charging starts).
It seems to charge at a pretty quick rate, but I haven't broken out the timer on it.. but I can get 10% charge added to the phone, during a short trip. Looking forward to try it on a long road trip, with navigation going.
Two downsides though: The clip to the vent, there is no way to adjust it. It is really really tight, and you slide it on.. but if your vent is a little thick you may have some problems, and be very careful, not to push to hard, you could break your vent.
Bigger downside... the plug. WAY to thick and big, and really looks/feels cheap. And the wire does NOT come out of it. The way my car is designed, these thick 12v plugs, push into the cup holder, and I lose that one for drinks. I can't swap this out for a different one (like a mini Anker). It does have a 2nd USB port, but no indicator on what the voltage rating is on it. Not sure if I will be able to charge two iPhone 14's on it, or not yet.
Good/Bad, the cord is REALLY long... for many installations, the cord is way too long.
It works, but there are many options out there, and this one really doesn't do anything different, and lacks in a couple areas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is our 4th robotic vacuum, going way back to our first Roomba maybe 10+ years ago. and I have to say, this one so far, has been the best of the bunch.
Setup was pretty easy, only took some time to get all the protective plastic off. pairing with the app, did take me two attempts, but was pretty painless and easy to do. Setting up the docking port, I tried first to have it under a bench (just the layout of the room), didn't work so well... so did place it against our fireplace base, and is just fine there. Now to the fun stuff.
The app, is pretty good... I wish it would get optimized a bit for iPad, so I can use the larger screen to layout my zones, but that is a nit pick on my part. I think in time it will be nice, when you can better refine zones (not just 4 point rectangles), so I can better refine it. But it is very good, that after the first running, I get my map, and then can zone out where I want it to go and not go (saves me from worrying about it going into laundry room, or bathroom, where historically these robots have issues).
I LOVE that I can set schedules per zone, as there are some rooms on the first floor, that just are not used often, and don't need to waste the time every day to vacuum those, and on the flip... there is one room that is used extensively every day, so this can get refreshed each day.
it is a quite running unit, not overly loud. the dirt container is on the smaller size, but not much can be done there unless we want to make the units much bigger.
I like some of the advancements, where it can LIFT itself up a bit to try to get unstuck if it gets into a pickle. I like how it turns off the vacuum power, when it is returning home as well. Some other neat little things... The shimmy when it goes into the base, not sure if it just cosmetic, but is a little nice touch. And the tones and sounds it makes.
The advantage of having it fully wifi enabled is great, because I can get notes on my phone about what it is doing and when it is stuck. (and so far it hasn't gotten stuck after the first initial mapping).
The #1 thing that I really love about it... it vacuums more like a human. seriously. How many of us vacuum in a random pattern, and leave lines on the carpet going every which direction. I LOVE!!!! how this robot, leaves STRAIGHT lines, that are parallel to the walls (see picture, and zoom in a bit). It does a good job cleaning, and leaves the GREAT appearance when done.

Right out of the box, you know this is going to be a good Vacuum. Take maybe 5-10 minutes to unpack, (there is a lot of clear plastic protecting the unit). Once you get it unpacked.
Click the battery on, click the tube, and the brush... and you are done.. .and on your way.
Right away, this probably the LIGHTEST cordless vacuum of this size I have every owned or used. MUCH lighter then my Dyson and LG. default power level, is going to be good for almost all usage. I was able to knock out through my master bedroom pretty quickly.
There is a high and low level as well. the HIGH level, was almost too much for my short carpet, and it pulled the head into the carpet, making it a little hard to move. And the Low, really seems to be for those shaggy carpets, so it doesn't pull too much in.
I used it for a good 30 minutes right out of the box, with out a need to charge the battery. So unless I am really doing the FULL house, one charge should cover us.
Comes with a small and simple charging base, easy to mount with two screws.
Only nit pick, is the power adapter, for some tight spaces, it may be a little big
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick... Almost too quick

So this is our first inkjet printer in probably 10 years. I have been doing color laser for well over a decade, because ink jets were just not reliable. Well.. with the changing market, we decided to give this one a go, when our one printer died.
So far.. so good... almost too good.
So let's get this out of the way: This comes with a fax port, and wire, and connection... that I have ZERO way to test or even try to use. I was actually really laughing when opening the box and there was a phone cord in there for the fax. So I don't have a review on that other then... yes, it is there.
For setup... this was super easy. Very quick connection to the wireless network. Normally I do wired, but we want this one in the kitchen, and we don't have a network jack there. But it was quickly added to our mesh wifi network, and so far: 100% reliable. It is seen by our iPhones, it was seen by our Mac and Windows computer with no funny business... and I haven't had to do any "tweaks" to keep it reliably connected.
Now for Print speed: it has been great. From the iPhone, the print out maybe starts in about 15seconds. Computer, depends on what it is.. .but it is almost as fast. And I have NEVER seen an inkjet print at this speed. It is faster then the laser printers. And this is my only nit pick on the printer. It prints so fast, it ejects the paper sometimes too much and it is on the floor.
Printer quality is great. I wouldn't say photo realistic quality but for a general color print... it is really good.
The printer is a little on the noisy side, doesn't bother us.. but if you have light sleepers or pets, you may want to factor that in.
it is very light weight, so in wireless mode, you can relocated this to your work space and have it right next to you.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic, and fun... going to last a while

So I have used wireless keyboards for a decade plus... and frankly, I spend big money for so-so performance. So I went back to a wired keyboard... and this has been great.
So first and foremost... The key press on this is awesome... the push back on the keys have been great, and they respond very quickly. Allowed me to bump up my words per minute at least by 5 or more (I am in around 130 or so).
I love that the cable is removable. Two reasons, this allows me to carry the keyboard in a backpack (when I am going into work), without worrying about breaking/bending the cable. And it has allowed me to add a cable to the length I needed to get to my KVM switch.
I love the lighting effect on the keyboard, yah, it is purely cosmetic, but it does add a cool effect to my desk. And I enjoy that.
The quick action buttons and roller are good, I don't use them a a ton but they are there and work well for what they are intended for.
So the 1 start reduction:
- I actually do miss the number pad more then I thought I would.
- I need an ergonomic version of this keyboard. At least a basic one where there is a gap and my wrists can stay at their normal angle.

Great PRINTER, but difficult process and future

So let's start with the fact that I am struggling with this rating. It is AVERAGING to a 3.
Having been a loyal HP customer for YEARS, near decades for my printing choices, I didn't hesitate much on getting this printer, as spec wise was going to be a good replacement for a 5yr old printer that died.
So let's start with the good: And it is a 5.
- Print's FAST. Doesn't take time to spin up, and the pages are done and printed.
- Quality is great, dark and crisp
- I have done some 20 page prints, and Pages per minute seem pretty accurate
- It doesn't take up much space, good size for a laser printer
- Doing some searching I see there is an add-on tray for a 2nd tray, which is a good option to have for those that need two different mediums
- Works seamlessly with Mac, Windows, and my mobile devices
- Print's FAST. Doesn't take time to spin up, and the pages are done and printed.

So all of that has been great. now for the polar opposite, 1 star
This printer has been completely targeted for the HP subscription service to send you ink, when it thinks you need it. That model doesn't work for me, and many other applications that I am aware of.
From my understanding of the specs... I have NO CHOICE then to use the official HP cartridges with this, that start at $100 for the low print capacity, and $250-300 for high capacity. Best Buy doesn't carry either of them, so you need to go to a different vendor.
The Setup.. I have never gone through as much of a convoluted and painful setup process for a printer. For decades, I have been used to unbox, plug it in, put some paper in, and then you are off. Then with network based ones, they would immediately get a IP (DHCP), and you would just configure the driver, and you are on the way.
For this one, you need to go through a multi-step, online experience. That first MUST BEDONE on a full computer browser, don't try to do this on a phone or tablet, it isn't allowed. You can't use the HP SMART app to do it either.
You have to pair it to an HP account as well. You can't just activate and turn it on, you basically tie it to your account. Not sure what is going to happen or procedures if I ever decide to sell, donate, or give this printer to someone else (like my kids for their dorm).
I really really hope, HP reconsiders this activation model for printers.
With less and less need for physical printing, I can see my future purchases going a different direction.

I was already to buy this TV- seems to be GREAT price!

Will the cameras work with solar cells and battery back-up? Do you offer solar cells? How much power/back-up would be necessary to power these cameras and charge the battery?
The power connect for the camera's are not USB style plugs, they are DC adapter plugs. They don't have a built in battery, and I have not seen one listed by the company as an option...
Solar Cells will need a battery. I am sure you could probably configure something that would work (such as a Goal-Zero with Solar), but the added cost x4 may not be worth the effort.
