Great sturdy mount

This mount is best for heavy and extra large flat panels tv especially if you want to feel reassured that it won't fall during an earthquake. The mount is especially useful when wanting to have the option of pointing it in different directions specifically when you have a wide open floor plan. The mount is not suited for mounting directly to a wall whereby you don't want to see this bulky gadget. I have it mounted in a recessed entertainment system that conceals the entire mount but gives me the option to pull the tv in/out and point in various directions. I expect the that mount will loosen up with more use as I have only had it for a 2 months. When the installer put it in he hung on it just to demonstrate how sturdy it is as the mount did not budge at all. The mount is the best quality and appears to be built to last...just make sure you mount it on a stud!
