This compact blender allows you to blend smoothies, milk shakes and more. The travel lid saves time by allowing you to drink from the blending jar.
My blender Model 51103 is less than 12 months old. Liquid now leaks from the blending jar beneath the cutting blades into the chamber above the base. Is there a repair I can make to prevent the leak? Thanks for a reply. George
I have not run into this with the Ninja blender. For other brands, I know that this usually means some parts just need to be replaced, such as the blade housing or assembly, or the gasket.
I used Teflon tape and/or Vaseline around the grooves and on the rubber seal for a 20 year old KitchenAid that started leaking after they no longer made parts for it. This worked for a spell until the problem got really bad a few years later, which is why I bought this Ninja.

I have a small kitchen. What are the dimensions and weight of this blender. I may have to store it away between uses. I do this with my Kitchen Aid and it's really heavy.
This is about the same weight as my KitchenAid stand mixer. It’s probably about 8” x 7“, and much taller than the mixer. This has sucker-feet so it doesn’t move while the big motor is working, which makes it even harder to move than the mixer because first you have ungrip them from the countertop. I run into the same problem because I also have a smaller kitchen and know exactly how much fun it is to move these appliances around as you need them.

Can I plug unit into a surge protector to protect against power surges? What's the suggested rating of the surge protector?
Check the rating on the regulatory mandated sticker on the plug. Make sure that you get an appliance surge protector, not just a normal one such as for your TV. These surge protectors are available, and definitely more expensive because they’re built to handle the larger wires and sudden power draw appliance motors need.

Does AC dry air in Fan Only mode? The manual says to "open the vent during this function but keep it closed" in Cooling Mode. The illustration looks nothing like the vent on my unit, which allows you to control direction but not open/close. How to?
Mine works on fan only mode, and also does not look anything like the picture in the manual. I do not seem to have a way to turn the vent on or off, either. Another confusing thing is that the temperature shown on the face while on fan only is the room temperature, not the desired temperature such as when running the condenser to cool the room.
