A Terrible Tripod

I bought this tripod on sale, and it was a waste. I gave it one star because that is the lowest rating they had. There is nothing good to say about it. It is cheap,poorly made, and flimsy. I am using it to hold a cheap photography light but will replace it soon. I am not sure it can safely hold a camera of any size. I recommend buying something that has a wide enough leg spread and is strong enough to hold a camera with some confidence. I didn't pay much for it and that is what it is worth, not much.

The Nikon 105mm "micro" lens is fantastic. It is sharp and clear using it as a 105mm prime lens and when using it close up as a macro lens, which is what I love to do. After quite a bit of research I purchased this lens for macro photography and I was not disappointed. It does take time to learn how to use a macro lens, but the rewards are awesome. It was expensive, but worth it. Hats off to Nikon for a great lens, I have not seen anything comparable to it on the market in any brand. My recommendation is to save and get this lens. You can recommend it next time.

This remote control for my Nikon D610 works great. It allows me to take pictures without touching the camera so there is less chance of shaking the camera, especially on macro shots. You do have to remember though it is line of sight not RF, so you have to be able to point at the sensor on the front or rear of the camera. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

The phone is good and easy to use. However, it does not give options to deal with messages, text, and numbers already dialed like most other phones do, such as easily selecting them to be added to the contact list, or deleted. It seems to have a dial default. If you touch it, it dials it. Also, difficult to swipe to answer sometimes for arthritic fingers.
