I bought one shortly after they first came out and came to the initial conclusion that I just wasn't a smart watch kind of guy. So I returned it.
Then I realized how it would benefit my workout and keep my hands away from my phone while driving. Genius!
Went back and bought another ($100 off I might add!). So glad I did. Workouts have been better and I really like the quick glances at my progress throughout the day. Not to mention how nice it is that it reminds me to get off my butt and move around when I've been sitting too long.
Don't get me wrong. It has its hiccups. Like when it doesn't want to talk to my phone. Sometimes a text will come through my phone, but the watch won't get it for several minutes. Weird!
Otherwise, it has become very natural having it on my wrist. I don't use it to its full potential, but what I do use is an enormous benefit IMO.
Oh, and nothing is perfect hence the 4 stars instead 5. I always can find room for improvement, but great job Apple

Could be SO much better

I read reviews on this product beforehand and was even privy to the Kickstarter campaign started by Lunatik last year in advance of this watch band. Let me say that I would NEVER have purchased this had it not been about 50% off (just the 'gray' color).
That being said, it does serve a purpose. It protects my watch very well. I am a firefighter and didn't want to have to be concerned about the watch all day long. I wanted to enjoy the full use of my Apple Watch and this offered me that.
However, after having it for over a month now, I can honestly say, that's all it's good for. The rotating bezel works poorly. You really have to work with it. The band uses a traditional buckle type clasp that has been around for decades, but there is a protruding stud that you use to keep the excess band from flapping around. During this past month, it has become looser to the point that it takes very little effort to pull it out. A very poor design me thinks.
So, for what I paid, it serves my needs. But I will not buy it again
