Beats cable company router

Before this router was using a cable company router and I had bought a dual band d-link router previously for my home and loved it. Immediately after hooking up and setting up (10 minutes) you will notice faster speeds. I noticed less buffering on Netflix or Amazon, I also noticed my album art now shows up when playing Spotify through Airplay on my TV. The range is also extended vs. my cable router. You will see how much difference this router makes even with the same speed from your provider. Great job on this router.

Great Picture

So this is my first projection system because I have always been sceptical but this projector changes my thoughts. First of all the picture is just as good as any big screen. Whether you have it close or stretch it to 300 inches it still looks 1080 and crystal clear. We used this for a game on our back porch and it was perfect. The internal speaker made it nice not to have to bring audio equipment outside. We just plugged it in and connected the Directv HDMI and within 30 seconds we were watching the game. It comes with a remote to adjust the settings. If you like to watch games outside this is amazing. After the football season this will be going in my basement as a theatre.

So let me start by saying I have a 1000 square foot floor that I am using this on. Before I received this, I was using a Swiffer Sweeper and a Bissell Pet for a shag rug on the floor. The Shark ION Rocket eliminates both. The great thing is that is way more powerful than the swiffer and on the brush mode goes over the shag rug with no issues. The battery takes a few hours to charge which is somewhat of a surprise compared to other lithium batteries but I can vacuum for about 20 minutes with a blend of normal and high and it takes no bard away from the battery. My guess is that I will only need to charge this every week or so. The attachments appear to be very useful although I haven't had a chance to use them. I t will make it easy to clean our ceiling fan blades from our balcony with this vacuum. I also love the little led headlights. I never realized how much I like them. They actually make all the dog hair very easy to see. I am so happy about this vacuum and can't wait to use it more. Great job Shark! My only complaint is that it does not come with a wall storage attachment unless you pay extra.

Great Toothbrush but $$$$

This is my 3rd Sonicare toothbrush and was excited to check out the app and the new features. The first thing I want to mention is that this brush is slightly different then the other brushes. It can be controlled by the brush or your phone. The settings are the same with all the brushes, whitening, deep clean, and so on. I love these different features but from what I can tell is that for example, with whitening it adds 30 seconds on to the brush time to go over the front again for an additional 30 seconds. The part I was excited the most about was the app. There are some pros and cons with this.
PROS: when you select brush on the app it knows where you are brushing and tells you where and how much to brush each area with highlighted sections of your virtual mouth.
Helps you keep brushing goals.
Tracks the life of your brush head.
Tracks number of brushes
CONS:
In order to get the most, you must open the app each time you brush otherwise it just knows you brushed.
Very pricey
Other than the app, same as the regular Diamond Clean
Heads are pricey

Overall, it is probably the best electric toothbrush on the market however there is a price for that. If you just want a good brush without needing the app, get the diamond clean or if you need the coaching and specifics, pay the extra $70. The app is okay and the brush is amazing. Super easy to charge and use but sometimes I just want to brush and go to bed, not pull out my phone and open the app to show what I pretty much already know.

I would like to start off by saying I currently have a Neato Botvac D80 so when I received this brand new Roomba I was a little disappointed. In this review I will compare what I know (Neato) vs. my new Roomba. The unboxing was very easy and the vacuum is pretty much ready to go when you take it out of the box with a few easy steps to get up and running. The first thing I noticed before turning on is the dust bin I much smaller than the Neato. For someone who has no pets this may not be an issue for you but the Neato bin seems to be almost twice the size. When I did turn it on and watched it go here are some things I noticed vs. the Neato. The vacuum seems to just bounce around vs. having a defined perfectly strait path like the Neato. The Neato uses lasers and an internal GPS system to ensure every inch is covered. With the Roomba, it seems to just keep bouncing around to get all areas. I also noticed that the first bedroom it went in it just did one strip and turned around and left the room uncleaned. I also noticed that because it is not nearly efficient with its sporadic movements, the Roomba seems to last a bit longer in battery life but cannot finish my first floor without having to recharge. It takes quite a bit longer overall to clean my floor vs. the Neato. As far as suction, it is what you can expect from a small vacuum, it isn't a Dyson so don't expect to get dirt and hair from deep down in your carpets. These robot vacs are good for maintaining clean floors only. As far as it getting stuck, it does just fine. The Roomba goes over area rugs, carpet and hard wood with no problem. The app is nice so you can turn it on while at work but the first time I did this it got stuck under my bed by wedging itself underneath a support bar but I was able to stop this in the future by moving some items under my bed around to keep this from happening again. Overall I think this is a great vacuum. It saves so much time and you can expect a clean floor when you get home from work. My two big complaints are the dust bin and the inefficiency of the sporadic bouncing vs. the back and forth predetermined paths of the Neato.

Great Features

I received this camera and immediately loved the packaging. It is packaged similar to a high end Apple product. I currently have two Nest cams and also have Arlo for outdoors. One thing I love about this camera is that it has features the other two I mentioned do not. First of all it is a wifi camera so you can expect the delay to be 1-3 seconds which is normal. The app is okay, not as good as others but it works just fine and makes using the features very easy. The great things that this camera has that the others do not is that you can box an area you want to detect so for example if you have this in the front of your house, you can put the box on the driveway vs. the road so that it only detects movement on your driveway vs. passing cars. With Arlo, you have to decrease sensitivity so much to not detect unwanted items you do lose some activity detections. This Logitech combats that problem. Another feature I love that the others do not have is that you can turn on a human feature so it only detects people and not your pets or cars. This can be done with the Nest but only if you pay $10 a month. We do have this mounted inside the house because unlike Arlo, it does require to be plugged in for power vs. having batteries. Overall it is a nice substitute for Nest and if you don't have other Nest products this camera would probably be my first choice.

This thing bangs!

I am a sound snob so was worried about the sound quality of a new brand. Let me tell you, this thing has better quality for outdoor parties then my Bose or Big Jambox. I put this on our porch for a party of about 50 people and it sounded amazing. I also love that you can charge you phone from it since everyone came over with dead phones. It says 8-10 hours of life and even after charging phones it still had juice left after 8 hours of loud play. If you want a beach, pool or backyard speaker this is it. Forget beats and Bose. I was also not worried about rain or anyone spilling a drink on it. Handle is great. A little big but perfect for parties.

Coffee Heaven

So let me start by saying I am a black coffee drinker and don't even know what half the people are ordering in the coffee line. I needed a new coffee machine and have only had this for a couple of days but I am trying and experimenting with all kinds of coffee and teas. Not only does this make an exceptional cup of black coffee the espresso machine is opening my eyes to even better cups of coffee. The unit can be programmed to start your brew, it brews much faster than my old Krups, which is so nice since I hate waiting in a rush. The best part is this machine looks amazing in my kitchen! As I mentioned, I have only had this for a short time and have already discovered many new tricks and opened my eyes to more than just black coffee. I can't wait to see what else I will come up with. I will soon be my own home barista! If you drink black coffee, tea and are wanting to spice it up a bit, this is the machine!

Great system for the money

I used this Polk to gain better audio with my bedroom TV. When I hooked it up I was pleased to find three options for hooking the system up, AUX plug, HDMI ARC, and optical audio. I used the optical audio and set the placement of the speakers. I was a little disappointed to find that the main speaker is about 1/3 of the size of the subwoofer and yet weighs twice as much giving me little confidence in the woofer magnet. I placed the sub about 10 feet away in a corner and what I love about that is that the sub is wireless so I didn't need to run any wires which was an awesome feature. After I fired it up and programmed my TV remote to control the volume on the Polk I was surprised on the clarity of the speakers. I do find it unable to balance the way I like it because the only sound options are movie, sports and music and you can control voice and bass, no mid, high or low. After setting up the sound the best I could I was able to pair my phone up and listen to music through the bluetooth feature. That is truly a terrific feature of this. Not only a soundbar but an audio system. My two biggest complaints are the sound adjustments and that to switch it to bluetooth you have to push the bluetooth button. If you don't have the remote, the buttons on the top are hard to see. Because of those two items I give it 4 starts however, for the money I recommend this over any other brand. It's small, out of the way, wireless sub, great sound, and price are all wins.

Amazing

I currently have ATT internet access which is 25mbps and runs on a cat 5 line or DSL. I have never had any bandwidth problems or speed issues. I have a Marantz receiver, an Arlo camera hub with 4 cameras, a Philips Hue hub and my Directv receiver that are all hardwired. Wifi I have a Nest thermostat, 3 Nest smoke detectors 1 Nest Cam, 1 Canary cam, 1 ROKU, 2 computers, 1 tablet, an LG smart TV, and 2 phones. With all of these devices I never had any lag or connectivity issues or so I thought. When I received my Linksys EA9300 I had to hook up from my ATT modem (Linksys has no cat 5 wire) so ran the Linksys from my ATT and plugged all my hardwire devices into the Linksys, and re-entered the new wifi password into all my devices. What I thought was good service wasn't really that good before. With this router, I get a full signal at the neighbors house and almost all the way down the street. I also noticed that when I play Spotify through my Marantz, the album art never showed up on my TV and now it does. I always thought it was just the Marantz but now I know it was my crumby ATT issued router. I also like that you can see exactly which devices are on your network. A big win is that with ATT routers, the password is this enormously long password that takes forever to enter when guests come over but since using this one, you can modify the router name and password. Take it from me, even if you are using a cable company provided modem this thing really opens up your bandwidth and you will realize immediately faster and greater signals. Your wifi cameras are clearer, album art comes through, and you can be on your network from hundreds of feet away even through walls. If you don't think you need this, you are wrong.
