The Right Tool for the Job!

The Belkin - 3' Lightning-to-3.5mm Audio Cable is a basic adapter for plugging iOS devices into audio speakers and systems that provide a 3.5mm audio-in option. It simply works!
For me, it's especially useful for the occasional times when I want to provide background music for a special event. Even though most of the speakers I use have Bluetooth capabilities, I still find it easier and more secure to plug in a dedicated iPhone or iPad. I've had too many times when I'm in a hurry, and going through the pairing process for Bluetooth is a pain. This cable solves that problem.

Makes Delicious Pizza - Takes Some Time to Finess

The BakerStone - Gas Stove Top Pizza Oven Box is an ingenious creation. Once we dialed it in, it produced a delicious, artisan pizza.
Assembly was mostly straight-forward, though it took a few trys to get some of the alignment to work. The warnings about heat and a minimum clearance of 10-11 inches caused us some concern. We finally put damp cloths over the areas of exposure. After using it, we realized we didn't have to be quite as concerned. We had the stove burner set to high, but it took about an hour (not 20 minutes) for the heat indicator to barely cross the line into the pizza range. It never went higher. As a result, we needed to more than double the recommended times for rotating and cooking the pizza. As far as cleaning, we let it continue on high heat (per instructions) for 20+ minutes, but there are still some spots that did not cook off.
Although the above issues could be frustrating, they also add to the 'artisan' experience. It's all about experimenting and dialing it in according to your tastes - all of which makes the finished product feel very personal and unique. Once we got it going, my wife and I had a great time with it. And we thoroughly enjoyed our personal, handcrafted, stone-cooked pizzas!
This is a great product. I only gave it 4-stars because there is room for improving the design and functions.

The Acer - XB272 27" LED FHD GSync Monitor was a notable improvement for my semi-casual gaming experience. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time eliminated blurring or hiccups in the on-screen movement.
The form-factor is effectively bezel-less, and the substantial stand provides a wide range of movement and solid, secure support. The built-in options for screen settings was also a plus.
A couple of things to remember: The resolution is 1080 HD and this is a monitor for gamers. You can get great monitors for normal computer use for less. But for gaming, you need something like the Acer - XB272. A solid, Gamers' monitor.

Excellent Earbuds with Good Noise Cancelling

The Sony - WF-SP700N Sport True Wireless Noise Canceling Earbud Headphones are a very solid offering in this category. The sound was excellent with a great spatial effect. I used the headphones app to adjust the settings to my liking, which was key in getting just the right sound.
They are surprisingly light and comfortable for their form factor and I had no problem putting them in and out of my ear. I also had no problems using Siri, controlling songs and receiving calls. The noise canceling feature worked well - better than I expected with earbuds. The ambient sound feature definitely brings outside sounds in via its mic. But I haven't been in a situation where I've needed to rely on that as opposed to simply stopping the music.
Contrary to other reviews, I really don't have a problem with the controls. Probably because my expectations are low, I've yet to find a pair of wireless earbuds that don't have a learning curve attached to using their controls. There is voice confirmation of the left-ear options: noise canceling, ambient sound, off.
One thing to watch, though, if you get a pair: Follow the initial pairing instructions closely. You need to take the left bud out of the case and pair it with your device before removing the right bud from the case. Then bring the right bud close to the left one for them to pair with each other. After that, they work as you would expect.
All-in-all, these are an excellent pair of earbuds with great sound and good features.

Fascinating Concept Not Ready for Prime Time

The Google Clips camera is a fascinating concept. Just turn it on, point it in the right direction and let it take candid photos. It is easy to set up and use and the camera takes good-quality wide-angle pictures. But, after the novelty wears off, it's a very limited-use gadget. I just can't justify it at its current price-point.
It has some AI features that will make it's choices improve over time, but the wide angle lens requires strategic positioning that's hard to implement - and - keep it inconspicuous. According to the marketing, it works well on the floor for dogs and small children.
I'm still going to try a few more applications of the camera to see if I can find something compelling. So far, it's fascinating, cute, well-designed and easy to use, but not something I'm likely to use often.
If it had the resolution and capacity to have the AI zoom into interesting actions and faces, it would be living up to its promise. Even so, it is clearly not in the impulse-buying price-range. Though well built and designed, I can't recommend it unless you have a compelling use-scenario for it.
I like the concept and, if they stay at it, Google could have something amazing. I mean, who wouldn't want their own, dedicated photographer?

Good Security Cam for a Good Price

The TP-LINK - Kasa Cam is, at its core, a great camera for watching an area of your home and being notified of any activity. I like the form-factor and ease of physical installation. Very simple and direct. The variations for installing, including magnetic, are elegant and the image is sharp and clear.
The reason I didn't give it 5-stars are:
1. The very basic installation instructions told me to get the 'Kasa for Mobile' app - but the only app fitting that description was a social media app. By deduction, I figured out it's the 'Kasa' app with a stylized home logo (there were many apps with 'kasa' in the name).
2. Audio latency for talking through the cam into the room is extreme when the internet is below 5 mps upload speed (13-30 seconds). Even thought the latency of the room a/v was only 1-2 seconds at only 9 mps download. This was on the same home network and meant you couldn't actually have a conversation with someone in the room.
3. Also, the audio sensitivity, which is great for hearing quiet sounds, becomes distorted and unrecognizable with loud sounds.

A New Blast From The Past!

I remember the original Polaroids and the excitement of watching the picture develop. The new OneStep2 brings it all back. The pictures look JUST LIKE THEY DID IN THE ‘70s! The shot I took of my daughter and son-in-law looked like I found it in some old shoebox - from before they were born. And there’s no denying that it is refreshing to put a hard-copy of a retro-looking picture up on the fridge.
Construction is solid and it’s easy to use. The features are straight-forward (nice to have a timer). However, be sure and take time to read through the instructions before using. There are a couple of things that work differently than with the originals.
Things to consider:
1. The film is not cheap
2. This is a point-and-shoot camera. There are no options on framing shots other than your position
3. Although there may be a variety of settings in which to use it, this is a one-trick pony.

The only reason I’m not giving it a 5-Star rating is because of point 3.

Excellent Video and Great Features for Price

Set-up for the Rexing Dash Cam was simple. Permanent use requires routing the power cable to a power source in the car. The plastic housing for inserting the cable into the power source works fine but feels fragile as if it would break easily if I put too much pressure on it.
Once familiarized with the controls, I was able to take photos, short videos, turn the mic on or off, and set up time-lapse mode. This mode allowed me to view a 3-hour drive through the beautiful Eastern Sierra mountains (Hwy 395) in a few minutes!
Being my first dash-cam, I'm still in the process of deciding on my best-case usage scenario. But the Rexing Dash Cam clearly has the features I'll need.

Excellent Active-Use Wireless In-Ear Headphones

The JBL - Under Armour Sport Flex Wireless In-Ear Behind-the-Neck Headphones have a lot going for them. Great sound. Actually, some of the clearest sound with sufficient bass that I’ve heard so far in bluetooth headphones. The around-the-neck form factor feels just right. Not too heavy, but substantial enough to stay firmly in place - you can use them during activities with confidence. The buds fit very well in my ears and the whole unit was comfortable to wear.
Locating and using the controls took a little longer to dial in than I’m used to with these kinds of headphones. However, once practiced, I found them accessible, useful and straight-forward to use.
All-in-all, these are excellent wireless in-ear headphones.

The Philips Norelco - Series 3000 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver is great. It's easy for me to say that since this my 3rd similar Norelco shaver.
I've found them all easy to use and clean. The shave is smooth and close (for an electric), and I use the pop-up blade for trimming my beard. The charge lasts for days which adds to the convenience of using it.
The Norelco units have been increasingly water-friendly, but this one pushes that to new limits with its Wet/Dry designation. It also feels a bit more substantial than previous versions. I suspect the charge will last longer also.
An interesting addition with the 3000 is the 'stubble' accessory. It's a selling-point on the box and in descriptions, but I could not find any reference to it in the directions. In reality, it's just a plastic cover that goes over the blades giving about an eighth of an inch length. I actually use in on my head, not my face, for a casual buzzed look! It works for me.
Once again, I'm a satisfied user of a Philips Norelco electric shaver.

If you still have to have Internet service what do I need this thing for I already have a router
If you're satisfied with your current wifi you don't need this. If your wifi is older tech and weak in spots, this system should give you a wifi signal that is stronger and speedier.
