Good Security Cam for a Good Price

The TP-LINK - Kasa Cam is, at its core, a great camera for watching an area of your home and being notified of any activity. I like the form-factor and ease of physical installation. Very simple and direct. The variations for installing, including magnetic, are elegant and the image is sharp and clear.
The reason I didn't give it 5-stars are:
1. The very basic installation instructions told me to get the 'Kasa for Mobile' app - but the only app fitting that description was a social media app. By deduction, I figured out it's the 'Kasa' app with a stylized home logo (there were many apps with 'kasa' in the name).
2. Audio latency for talking through the cam into the room is extreme when the internet is below 5 mps upload speed (13-30 seconds). Even thought the latency of the room a/v was only 1-2 seconds at only 9 mps download. This was on the same home network and meant you couldn't actually have a conversation with someone in the room.
3. Also, the audio sensitivity, which is great for hearing quiet sounds, becomes distorted and unrecognizable with loud sounds.

A New Blast From The Past!

I remember the original Polaroids and the excitement of watching the picture develop. The new OneStep2 brings it all back. The pictures look JUST LIKE THEY DID IN THE ‘70s! The shot I took of my daughter and son-in-law looked like I found it in some old shoebox - from before they were born. And there’s no denying that it is refreshing to put a hard-copy of a retro-looking picture up on the fridge.
Construction is solid and it’s easy to use. The features are straight-forward (nice to have a timer). However, be sure and take time to read through the instructions before using. There are a couple of things that work differently than with the originals.
Things to consider:
1. The film is not cheap
2. This is a point-and-shoot camera. There are no options on framing shots other than your position
3. Although there may be a variety of settings in which to use it, this is a one-trick pony.

The only reason I’m not giving it a 5-Star rating is because of point 3.

Excellent Video and Great Features for Price

Set-up for the Rexing Dash Cam was simple. Permanent use requires routing the power cable to a power source in the car. The plastic housing for inserting the cable into the power source works fine but feels fragile as if it would break easily if I put too much pressure on it.
Once familiarized with the controls, I was able to take photos, short videos, turn the mic on or off, and set up time-lapse mode. This mode allowed me to view a 3-hour drive through the beautiful Eastern Sierra mountains (Hwy 395) in a few minutes!
Being my first dash-cam, I'm still in the process of deciding on my best-case usage scenario. But the Rexing Dash Cam clearly has the features I'll need.

Excellent Active-Use Wireless In-Ear Headphones

The JBL - Under Armour Sport Flex Wireless In-Ear Behind-the-Neck Headphones have a lot going for them. Great sound. Actually, some of the clearest sound with sufficient bass that I’ve heard so far in bluetooth headphones. The around-the-neck form factor feels just right. Not too heavy, but substantial enough to stay firmly in place - you can use them during activities with confidence. The buds fit very well in my ears and the whole unit was comfortable to wear.
Locating and using the controls took a little longer to dial in than I’m used to with these kinds of headphones. However, once practiced, I found them accessible, useful and straight-forward to use.
All-in-all, these are excellent wireless in-ear headphones.

Once Again, I'm a Satisfied Customer

The Philips Norelco - Series 3000 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver is great. It's easy for me to say that since this my 3rd similar Norelco shaver.
I've found them all easy to use and clean. The shave is smooth and close (for an electric), and I use the pop-up blade for trimming my beard. The charge lasts for days which adds to the convenience of using it.
The Norelco units have been increasingly water-friendly, but this one pushes that to new limits with its Wet/Dry designation. It also feels a bit more substantial than previous versions. I suspect the charge will last longer also.
An interesting addition with the 3000 is the 'stubble' accessory. It's a selling-point on the box and in descriptions, but I could not find any reference to it in the directions. In reality, it's just a plastic cover that goes over the blades giving about an eighth of an inch length. I actually use in on my head, not my face, for a casual buzzed look! It works for me.
Once again, I'm a satisfied user of a Philips Norelco electric shaver.

Solid-Sounding, Highly-Portable Bluetooth Speaker

The Sony - SRS-XB21 is a solid portable bluetooth speaker. Basic set-up and pairing was smooth and painless, as was using the Music Center and Fiestable apps. The sound is strong and high-quality for it's size.
The battery life is long-lasting and just keeps on playing.
It offers the ability to tap 5 points on the unit and hear 5 different percussion sounds. These can be customized and are, apparently, aimed at adding 'spice' to a party setting. It takes more of a 'thump' than a 'tap' to get the sounds to play, but work well with this unit. On the 3-pound XB41, which I also have, I found this feature less practical.
Another feature I thoroughly enjoyed was pairing up the two speakers I have (XB21 & XB41). Setting this up was challenging (I almost gave up). Thankfully, I finally found instructions on the Sony website that worked for me. Using both speakers together delivers a thoroughly enjoyable surround sound experience. You can add a large number of speakers in this series together for an expansive saturation of sound.
This is a solid bluetooth speaker that, for it's size, produces surprisingly high-quality sound.

Take the party anywhere with this Sony portable speaker. It's safe to use at the pool or beach thanks to an IP67 rating that allows total water immersion, and flashing lights add mood to the music. Extremely Solid Portable Speaker

The Sony - SRS-XB41 is an extremely solid portable bluetooth speaker. Basic set-up and pairing was smooth and painless, as was using the Music Center and Fiestable apps. The sound is strong, full, and high-fidelity. As to be expected with the 'Extra Bass' name, it projects excellent bass underneath without overwhelming the core sound. It's simply enjoyable to listen to.
The battery life is long-lasting - it just keeps on playing. It has some interesting novelties for party environments. 1) multi-color lighting that can be set to automatically follow a variety of patterns, or manually controlled, and 2) the ability to tap 5 points on the unit and hear 5 different percussion sounds. These can be customized and are, apparently, aimed at adding 'spice' to a party setting. I found this mostly a curiosity for the XB41. It's 3-pound weight makes it less likely that someone will spend much time using this feature. Also, it takes more of a 'thump' than a 'tap' to get the sounds to play. On the 1-pound XB21, which I also have, I found this feature more usable and fun.

Great for Normal Uses, Not with Epson App

The Epson Pro EX7260 720p 3LCD Projector is an excellent choice for it's price range. The image is bright, especially the colors. Keep in mind that this is not 4k resolution, but I find the movies I watch on it to be clear and crisp. Although the included speakers provide usable sound, they are not meant for normal use.
The basic set up is quick and straightforward - exactly as expected. Connecting via a wide choice of cables and inputs was simple. The remote control provides easy access to a large selection of features. It was up and running within minutes. It also comes with a useful carrying case which enhances the practical portability of the unit.
The one area I found disappointing was the wireless features for working with computers and mobile devices. I was able to get it working and use the Epson iProjection app to project photos, files, browser pages and a live camera feed. However, the text was unreadable when zoomed. On the other hand, text from my Roku was crisp on the screen. The app will show PowerPoint or Keynote files, but without animations. It's possible that this may be mostly due to a poor app and could be improved in the future. However, I would not recommend this projector for using it's built-in wireless solution. I suspect that using this with a Chromecast stick or Apple TV for sending to the screen would work much better. Unfortunately, I did not get to try either of these before writing this review.
So, aside from it's built-in wireless solution (iProjection app), I am impressed by the image quality and simplicity of basic set-up.

Great, Affordable, Easy-to-install Security System

The SimpliSafe - SHIELD Wireless Home Security System is my second product from SimpliSafe (I've been using the Defender series at another location). Therefore, I'm already familiar with how surprisingly easy these systems are to install. This was no different - and I'm still impressed by it.
The two most time-consuming steps are 1) deciding on the best location for motion sensors, and 2) connecting with SimpliSafe to complete set-up (I did not experience any significant wait time, so this was just the actual time needed for this step). Interaction with tech support folks was friendly and helpful.
Once installed, alerts and call-backs are immediate and clear. After turning off the 'test' mode, I tried the panic button and then stopped it. I immediately received a call from SimpliSafe checking to see if assistance was needed (and also received app and email notifications).
All of the parts went up quickly with the included adhesive strips. Set-up instructions were simple and easy to understand.
Because this was my second unit, I was able to see the improvements implemented since the first one I installed. There have been definite refinements that tell me the SimpliSafe folks are genuinely committed to making their systems the best in their category. This was reinforced by the fact that the added capabilities promised with my initial unit have already been added (the camera in particular).
I continue to be very impressed with SimpliSafe systems. They're a great idea for an affordable solution to security needs. They are also very well thought-out and exceptionally easy to self-install.

Great Wireless Over-the-ear Solution

The WHCH500/B Sony Stamina Wireless Headphones are a great over-the-ear solution.
The sound is very good and clear. The bass is solid and deep when needed without becoming overwhelming. This seems extra impressive coming from a pair of headphones that are light and relatively small.
The comfort was also surprising. I expected them to feel a bit small, but they don’t.
The controls on these headphones are the best I’ve used. Easy to understand. Easy to pair. Controlling the music and volume is simple. Receiving phone calls was a no-brainer and calling up Siri to make calls or answer questions also worked seamlessly.
These deserve top consideration for light, over-the-ear headphones in this price range.

Apartment use. Currently have a TimeWarner modem router and an extender in living room. parts of living room are slow and gaps. will these replace the modem router and will range be better?
I had a similar set-up as you describe. You will still need the modem function of your modem router to supply the internet signal from TimeWarner, but if you connect via ethernet from your existing modem router to the ORBI system, you should get a stronger system and better speed. I'm not with TimeWarner, but I had purchased and was using a modem router. After installing ORBI as described above, the strength and speed of my signal increased measurably. Remember that the wifi cannot make the speed greater than what arrives via your provider, but a better system, such as the ORBI, can bring the wireless signal closer to the actual ethernet speed. That's what it did for me.

So if it comes with two, I'm assuming you have one that internet is linked to by cable and the other is used as a extender? Or do you have to have both units hooked to cable?
You are correct. There is the Router unit, which must be connected by ethernet to your cable or dsl provider, and there is the Satellite unit which connects wirelessly with the main Router unit and extends the same signal with the same wifi name.

Will this product cover a 2000 sq. ft., one level house with only one (1) WiFi Name? The reason for this question is I'm currently using an extension to my router which has given the front of the house a different wifi name from the back of the house.
Yes. That's one of the advantages of this system versus a basic range extender, with the ORBI it's all the same wifi name. Plus, if you desire, you can pick up the satellite unit and move it according to you needs. It only takes 1-2 minutes for it to reconnect with the main router.
