Not worth the cost when $50 more...

While read generally positive reviews, wanted to like this, but... ended up returning. Overall sound was muddy by comparison when could actually compare side by side. Impossible before purchase as Bose controls the environment with selected tracks and won't let you plug in your phone to play what you want for consistency when evaluating several headphones. When comparing vs the Bower & Wilkins P7 wireless and using the same source material, Bose flaws really stood out. While Bose has noise cansellation that B&W doesn't, almost wonder if better name would be music cancellation. When no input signal, has a "seashore" hum to cancel various frequencies. With music input becomes less obvious, and at normal listening volume, there is little difference in the offset of outside noise, but a notable difference in the lack of detail and clarity. Also, the wired cable is very small guage and feels fragile. Plus it is semi-proprietary with 2.5 and 3.5 ends where most places, including Best Buy, only carry the 3.5 cable on both ends. Finally, on the bluetooth pairing, it couldn't pronounce my relatively name, spelling real quickly, but when pairing with the iPhone that uses my more formal name, had no problems. Just seemed wierd.

Good if/when works

This is my second attempt at adding bluetooth. First USB based bluetooth adapter (different brand) kept crashing and saw this one on closeout for $9. Same problem, and it is a Windows driver issue in Windows 10. Both used the same Broadcom driver and had the most recent version. Even took my CPU to the Microsoft Store for their free technical support. They immediately knew from the BSOD error message that was a hardware interupt issue. They made sure I had the mosr recent version of everything - Windows 10, all device drivers including bluetooth one, and even updated the BIOS on my motherboard. Problem persisted. Not returning it becase only $9. While I won't recommend this item, I appear to have corrected the issue on my 3rd attempt with an internal PCIE card combining wireless and bluetooth - not sold at Best Buy. It is Intel based (no Broadcom drivers) and the same brand as my motherboard.

Unfortunately returned it due to a bluetooth problem with the computer. Desktop didn't come with bluetooth and adding USB bluetooth adapter. Windows 10 kept crashing with "blue screen of death." Apparently a driver issue. Headphone worked great on wired connection but that defeats the purpose of a wireless headphone. Not marking it down due to a Microsoft isse.

Solid Replacement

Replaced an edisting hard drive that was continually giving "improper shutdown" message even when simply plugged in, or after you know you properly ejected it. Probably was a cable issue with connectors worn with use, creating some movement and sending the signal. Couldn't find the old style cable and didn't want to risk that the drive was failing. Cable on the new drive has connectors that are a totally different design and appears much more secure.

Our precious one for over 40 years finally decided to replace. Still worked but concerned about safety when leaving plugged in and leaving the house with a unit that old. What I liked is that it did not have the whis-bang programming features. While I am technologically astute, figured that would be the weak link that broke. Just a simple switch - High, low, warm and off. Also liked that was 4 qt, generally preparing for 2 people so 5 and 6 qt units were just too large. Cooks well and is definately faster than the old one, but to be expected as more efficient.

If used “wired”, is there such a thing as a 25’ wire? What kind of battery does it take? If battery is not replaceable, how much does it cost to replace? How do you charge the battery? If USB cable, can that connect to the Sony TV, Model XBR-55X850D?
Good luck finding any wire, short or 25' long. Most headphone use a 3.5mm audio jack on both ends. Bose, in their wisdom, elected to keep one side the industry standard 3.5mm so could plug into something, but elected to downsize the jack on the headphone to 2.5mm. Best Buy does not carry any 2.5 to 3.5 cables, but can find some online, but not certain about the 25' length. The USB cable is for charging and transmits no audio, so youd do little good hooking up to a Sony TV...other than charging the headphone.

Most recent Apples that are Intel based can read and write to a Windows formatted drive. In fact I have a Lacie portable hard drive with the primary partition formatted for Apple OSX, but a decondary partition formatted for windows. I have to move files into that partition if I want to have Windows see it for transfer, while Apple can see both formats.

i have a Lenovo k330b desktop. I wonder if this grahpics car would be compatible with it.
Couldn't find manual on Lenovo site so will require taking cover off to look. From specs, appears that is a Core i3 machine using on-board video. Yes, this will be a significant upgrade. Now, with the cover off, to see if will work...
1) The first two PCI-E slots (from center of computer - not bottom) should be free. You plug into one but physically requires 2 slots. (If occupied - which doubt, would be another video card and your monitor cable comes from it, but will be discarded). This is a long card so make sure has clearance to fit lengthwise.
2) Power Supply. Manufacturers are notorious for putting in barest minimum power supply so may need to upgrade. Card specs state 400w required and should be sufficient on an i3 machine but suggest 600w. Make sure the existing power supply has a spare power line for the card, either 6 or 8 pin, adapters are included.
3) Finally, disable the on-board video. Relatively easy and should have instructions from Lenovo manuals or a support ticket.
