First I was impressed that I was able to set this up my self...I am VERY tech illiterate. So I get it all charged, somehow turn it on (there are no instructions on how to turn on), and place in my kitchen after playing with it for a bit. Next morning I go about my business in the kitchen, then go to work and get a notice that I have "activity detected" so I open the app, and after about 4 minutes of waiting to open, I click on the time listed and I see me!! Very cool. Then I get another alert, open the app, wait 4-5 minutes, click on the time and see a cat tail as my cat walks out of the kitchen. It seems it did not pick up the cat being in the kitchen. When I get home...the battery is dead. I recharge it and get it set up just outside my door in perfect wifi range. I get notices of movement but when I open the app and go to that time...nothing. Once in a while I can see my roommate walking away from the house. I figured out it is SOOOO slow that if someone walks up to my door and knows my code...the camera is too slow to pick the up. If someone knocks at my door and I want to see who it is and communicate with them before opening the door...I will have to wait about 4 minutes for the camera view to open on my phone. The battery has now lasted about 3 days however- some improvement...
I love the idea and was very excited about it, but technology will be MUCH better in a year for things like this. Right now, I would not recommend this.

First...I am NOT tech savvy. I got the package and was amazed that I did not have to fight with it!! It took me a few to figure it out, but I did and got it all charged up. My daughter put some music on my phone for me, I added the bluetooth to my phone (took a few for it to pop up on my phone) and I started listening and it was clear, it was a perfect balance, and I love it!!! My daughter was calling me and I did not hear her, so she called me (I was in the next room) and the music silenced and my phone rang and it was again, great! She hung up and skyped me and that sounded great as well!!! Since I don't run, I cannot attest to them staying in during a run, but I am impressed!!!

I was very surprised at how comfortable the main piece felt on my neck. The ear pieces had to be changed out to the smaller ones, but now super comfy and PERFECT for Hands Free NY!! I have not completely figured out all the can do, but so far they are great!!!

Easy to put together, took a minute for the steam, but when it came on, my floors looked great! I would recommend getting distilled water and I did not realize this until after I had it put together and wanted to play. it is quiet and easy to stow.

This is my first Bluetooth (speaker) product. Package was difficult to open and the instructions were hidden in the top of the package. The unit itself is cute and small and, well, convenient looking. As I had no experience but I had the instructions, I thought I was ready to go! Yea, so I thought. The instructions say to hold the + & - for 2 seconds to turn one...HA...was more like 8-10 seconds. I finally got my phone to recognize it, but I could not figure out how to sync to use. I had to have a friend show me. It is louder than just a regular speakerphone use, however I felt like my buddy Carol was talking through a sock...in a tin can. Not clear. My phone is brand new and hers is less than 6 months old so I know it was not the phones.
I will use it as it will be convenient to use as I walk around the house while on the phone, I just have to get used to saying "what?" all the time.
Until the technology improves, I think you can pay more to get better.

I doubt I will use this for dough, or brownies, but for smoothies, coffee beans, flax seeds, and nuts...AMAZING!!! It cleans well, and I love the suction cups on the bottom that keep it in place while running full speed.

This was a gift for my niece to get started on a smoothie diet and she loves it!!! It will easily grind kale and spinach into a green smoothie ( along with other ingredients). I know I use mine for everything- easy to set up and easy to clean- note you MUST take the blade piece off the canister to clean it properly. Otherwise you may end up with a science experiment!

I'll admit I am technology challenged and I had to have someone with me to install this. Funny thing is...I ended up doing it myself because it was so easy!!! Simply plug in, download the app to your phone, it will automatically find that and you name it and Poof!!! Done!!! I used to have my livingroom light on a timer which was old and made noise all the time and I am sure cost a lot because it ran all the time. Well...not anymore!!! If I hear a noise outside at night I can turn my living room light on from the safety of my bed. Super easy to set up and use.
I like the the app I downloaded. It will allow me to add more outlets and since I name each one, I will be able to control LOTS of things at the touch of a button. Great gift for someone that lives alone!!!

I have about 7 ways to make coffee in my house and I live alone. I do like this as I can make a full pot when I first get up and plop myself in front of my computer and have hot refills from the carafe for a while. One thing to consider is that it does have a large counter top foot print.

I think it would be great! The top comes off for storage and the attachments work perfect. My house is over 2300 sq ft and it completes in one charge.

I spoke with an electrician and he states that since the instructions suggest to plug into a GFI, it is not a GFI itself. I have not tried to control each separate and I do not see where I can so I would say No. I am unsure about the other questions- sorry!!

Can the filter be turn off if I am using the faucet for other than drinking water? Will it still use the filter? Shorten the 6 month life span on the filter?
I think you would have to remove the filter and reattach the hose. Not very convenient if done often.
