What's in a Name

The Insignia is the best buy brand. It must still meet the standards set for Cat-6 Network cables. Buy some other name brand and you pay at least 50% more. I have used these cables and they have worked flawlessly. Why pay more?

The Best Case for an iPad
on July 8, 2015

My original protection consisted of an Apple Smart Cover with a clear polycarbonate back. This actually worked well, but the polycarbonate back showed wear and tear quickly. So I purchased the Apple Smart Case reluctantly. What a "smart" purchase. The protection is 100% and the case looks good, feels good and easier to hold. This is what I should have purchased in the beginning but decided against because I did not want to spend the money. Lesson learned

Listen to your playlist wherever you go with these Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 S2PGHW-521 in-ear wireless headphones, which feature Bluetooth capability and a built-in remote to control your music. The removable flex collar lets you customize your style.

I have a problem pairing these with my iPhone 6+. The first pairing no problem. Problem comes when I try to pair a second time. Connection unsuccessfulful it says. I have to "forget this device" before I can connect again. same with Jaybird X2's.

Had a similar problem. Hold down the pairing button on the buds until it flashes red and blue. Then pair. That worked for me on my iPhone 6.

Step up to high-speed USB 3.0 and transfer your videos, photos and files up to ten times faster than standard USB 2.0 drives. SanDisk Ultra® USB 3.0 Flash Drive takes the wait out of moving, sharing or backing up big files—now you can transfer a full-length movie from your laptop to your flash drive in less than a minute. Password protection lets you keep your private files private, while still being able to share generously with family and friends. And, with a sleek, sturdy SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive in your pocket, you won’t need an internet connection to access those photos and videos any place or any time you want. For more than 25 years, SanDisk has been known for quality and reliability all around the world.

Can this be used to create the recovery?

I have windows 8 and need to create the recovery disc. I want to put it on a flash drive. Is this drive compatible?
I use this type of drive (for my Mac) to run a disk utility program and also use one as a backup to the OS (only as a startup disk in an emergency). I do not use it as a backup for the main drive (which is possible with a large enough disk). To back up the computer I use an attached drive running a backup program.

USB 2.0 backup then plug into 3.0

I want to download movies off of my computer. It only has the 2.0, but then I want to view it on my TV which has a 3.0 interface. Will it play at the faster speed or will it be at the 2.0 rate that it was backed up on?
I think it works like this. You download the movies. Since it is 2.0 it will take a little longer. Once the movies reside on the drive, they are nothing but data (0's and 1's). Once you plug the 3.0 drive into a compatible 3.0 the transfer rate should be at the highest speed (provided they are both 3.0). The transfer rate is device specific not data specific?
