Amazon Echo app and Great sound integrated in one

I have been using the Google Home for 2 years, as well as a Portable Bose Speaker. And I choose the UE Blast because of the size, the company offers that the sound will be great, the portability, and the capability to have Alexa app integrated, and I wasn’t disappointed.
I like the style and the large volume controls. And the fact that is water proof. The material allows made to get a good grip so you can carry it with confidence.
The set up is pretty simple. I have an Iphone 7, and the first thing you do is to install the app. Once it finishes, it will guide you step by step. You have the enable the Bluetooth and connected the UE Blast as a Bluetooth speaker. Once you do that, the app will try to connect to the device, and then you set up your amazon account.
I will start first with the functionality as a speaker. It is great, the sound is clear, very high for a large room and the speaker will fill the room with sound.
I have used the speaker several times about the 70% of the volume in long sessions and I have got about 8 hours of Battery life. Using a 2amp usb charger adapter it will take less than 2 hours to fully charge.

The Bluetooth range is really good, about 60 feet, with my iphone7.
Now, the integration with the alexa app, works great. I have my Alexa account and I was able to play the radio app, using the same commands and same functionality as I used to do with my google home.
To recap, the UE Blast turns into a Echo speaker. That means playing music without having to pair your phone too. All the features tha are available with Alexa are now built into UE Blast flagship products. This includes Wi-Fi functionality. By connecting to a network, or mobile hotspot, The US Blast “Alexa” is now portable wherever you go.
I really like it!

A good starter RC Buggy, and really fast!

This is a electric Brushed racing RC Buggy, the construction is based mainly on a very strong and durable plastic, instead of aluminum, while others see a disadvantage on these two topics, I don’t see any, the tests I ran on this buggy, clearly shows that it is very sturdy, reliable, strong and well-constructed, very light, I made it jump over barriers and the car is still running, and did a lot of donuts, a lot of fun, and for a very affordable price. It is really fast, rated at 20 miles per hour. Something that I really like was that the rubber tires are bolted into the rim. It comes ready to run, just connect the battery inside the car, and is ready to go. It comes all assembled, so, it has been for me the easiest set up ever! I strongly recommend to read the manual first, so you can get familiar with the parts and the way to operate it.

The charging took about 45min, the charger has indicator lights on it to let you know when done charging, just follow the indications, it is very simple, don’t forget to press the start button on the charger. And it comes with an extra Battery, which is very handy to keep the car running and play with it longer. It also comes with extra stickers. The shell is very easy to remove to replace the battery. You can do easily 360s on turns and spinning out dust at every turn. The design and control of this car is well done, because of its gas shocks and tunable suspension. It comes with a booklet where you can have all the parts listing, and to disassembly the whole car is really easy. I played for about 30 min until it started to slow down the speed.

I used to have a Bose Speaker, and I used to think that nothing would compare to the sound of the Bose. Well, this unit really and gladly surprised me. The sound quality and appearance of this is fantastic. The price is more than fair, simple and compact and it was very easy to pair to any device I had at home, lets say, tablet, ipad, iphone, android. Amazing deep bass and clear high range. Good idea that it charges with a standard wire. Good looking, kind of heavy for the small size, however it feels reliable and sturdy.
The battery last a lot, according to the specs it states that 30 hours at half volume, I haven’t had the chance to deplete it completely, but I have played music for 14 hours and it is still up and running.
So if you are looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers good sound at an affordable price, this is the unit you are looking for, highly recommended!

I wasn't sure where to start, there is much to say about this unique and advance piece of technology, so let me start for the tips to set up the unit.
The box and packaging are outstanding. The McQueen car feels sturdy and heavy, which makes me feel really confident. Even it seems to be built of plastic and silicone, I did some research, and you will find inside 6 motors used for steering, driving, and controlling body movements, with a speaker loud enough so you can hear it clearly while you are playing in wide open exteriors. It also have a windscreen that is actually a LCD with the eyes that make all type of different expressions. And the bumper mouth is capable to move and make expressions as well with the voice of Owen Wilson, and like the movie, it doesn’t stop talking or complaining. The I played about 50 min and the battery wasn’t depleted, after a almost 2 hours charge. Esthetically speaking, the toy is an amazing approximation of the Pixar McQueen Character.
So, the first I did, was to connect the McQueen to the Power Outlet, By the way, great idea that the power connector is a gas cap charge port that lifts up to accept the red charge cable. Then I installed the app called "Ultimate Lightning McQueen by Sphero" in my Samsung Cell Phone, and once it is installed, the app will look for the McQueen toy. My best suggestion, is to put your phone the closest you can to the trunk, ( I put it on top) which is where the Bluetooth antenna is located. It is going to check and install for all the updates available first. It is going to take a while, you have to remember, the better the cell phone model you own, the faster and stable the Bluetooth transmitter will be. On IPhone the Bluetooth connection is really fast. In my case the McQueen app performed updates in A, B, C, and D Stages.
Once all the updates are done, McQueen is ready to go. The suspension moves the car to the right, left up and down, you will have to take your time and learn how to operate the RC control app, there are 2 options, the Sphero virtual joystick, and the regular RC. I started with the regular RC, that doesn’t give you to much options to do the donuts or rolls, but allows me to learn how to operate it and have some fun. My recommendation is to start in a wide open area, so you can practice and learn to control the speed, and learn how to take curves. Overall, it’s really quite fun. On the Sphero option, you will see a virtual joystick that can be moved around in a circular space, you control direction and speed. The more you tilt the virtual joystick towards the edge of the circle, the faster he’ll go. With enough practice you will eventually figure out, and you'll be able to drive it successfully. But because the toy itself is still handling all of the steering, it will occasionally crash into obstacles as it turns around to change directions. It took me a while to learn how to use, but once you mastered, is way better than the regular RC control.
You will see 3 other buttons that are part of the app. The first is ‘reverse’, and it is not as fast while is backing up. The second is ‘drift’, it will allow to perform donuts and rolls. The third is a turbo boost.
So, basically, the fun you can get with this toy, is totally up to you, and the skills you will develop learning how to control it. Lightning McQueen is more than a simple RC Toy, it is what I think a first gen of Robot Toys.

So, basically, the fun you can get with this toy, is totally up to you, and the skills you will develop learning how to control it. Lightning McQueen is more than a simple RC Toy, it is what I think a first gen of Robot Toys.
With that been said, the Lightning McQueen feels really alive. This is a result of the combination of the LCD eyes, moving bumper mouth, and animated suspension and the hundreds of different phrases it speaks, voiced by an Owen Wilson sound-alike. It has a lot of sensors, including light, motion, and touch panels on the roof, hood, doors, and rear of the vehicle, the chassis of the car features 5 capacitive touch panels that respond to your touch, so anywhere you touch the car, the toy is aware of how it's being handled, and can respond accordingly, making noises, and complaining like the movie character. Every time you crash it or get it in an accident, McQueen will ask for help in getting back on its wheels.
Another nice feature is the lighting. The red tail lights seem to be turned on all the time, but the headlights are light sensor activated.
Finally, you can put the toy in a sleep mode, or power it off completely. To power off you will need to go to the advance settings, and just follow the instructions, which are quiet simple, however, to power on again, make sure you have the toy connected to the power.
It is a wonderful toy, it make me feel like i am part of the future of the technology.
It is my understanding that this is the first of five products that Sphero will release this year, with more interactives options. Now that I have played, watched and enjoyed all that this toy is capable to do, I cannot wait to see what other surprise Sphero is going to release very soon.

Good always comes in tiny bottle

My first impression was, that it looks a little pricey for that small speaker. I never thought that such small speaker will deliver that quality sound. And considering the other benefits like the durable package, and absolutely water proof (I still don’t know how it manages to do it, because you can see the holes for the Micro usb connector, but I will leave that concern to the engineers). It’s covered by a solid rubber protector, and it also has a strap so you can attach it to belt loops, brackets etc. The strap attach it securely, and you can rely on the fact that if you drop it, it will still working like nothing happened. If you are jogging and you have attached it to your belt, it isn't heavy enough to be noticeable and the sound is clear and loud enough to hear, I was impressed with the level of bass this unit can deliver without distorting. It is an advantage using a unit that delivers that quality sound and not using earphones while I am jogging or simply walking in the park.
The Bluetooth setup with my IPhone was simple, just press the button on the Soundlink and then check the list of Bluetooth devices on my phone. Pairing was automatic. The App allows you to have two different sources on the unit. So I have my wife's Android and my IPhone configured in app, if you pressed the Bluetooth button on the micro, it will connect to a second source, and through the app you will be able to select which source to play the music. I found this very clever idea, as well as you can have several Bose devices connected to the same source playing music. I have a Bose Soundlink Speaker too, and I was able to play my music on both of them, connecting at the same time. The Bluetooth range distance is pretty amazing. I would say more than 60f range. I left my cell phone upstairs, in my room with the door closed, and the speaker was continuing playing music while I was downstairs. It Takes around 2 hours to fully charge, and I have had this unit playing music constantly for around 6 hours and still have battery charge to continue playing.
My final conclusion was, that the price is totally justified. I have had other small Bluetooth speaker devices and nothing compares with the quality, reliability and sound of this unit. The bass and higher tones are clear and pleasant to hear while I was listening my classical music. So, in this case, and as the said states “good always comes in tiny bottle”.
