This is "Hi-Fi" for the masses. For its size it is a great speaker. However to my surprise! the unit is UNABLE to play anything in the high res world. No 24bit support, no 192 this will basically play your run of the mill itunes songs. The no aux input is also really annoying cause at least then i could hook up a player of my own or even cast to it using bluetooth aptX or something yet nada. Was really disappointed with this "high-resolution" or "audiophile" quality speaker. Would definitely NOT recommend at the MSRP of 200 at 150 i think its basically still too much this thing should've been priced at around 70-100 for what it actually does offer. I haven't tried the play 3 or 5 but will likely try out the 5 before i return the entire system for low quality and compatibility with actual high quality music.
ONLY bright side is that it does integrate well with smarthome automation but even then if the iP changes or the router restarts or anything then you have to go back through setup to find the speaker and get it working again. You can't move it around once you've plugged it in without setup through smartthings again.

I was basically forced to upgrade, the price difference between this and the old one wasn't enough to justify buying the older model now. The new setup and fact that you can have apps is nice. However i use Harmony to control my theatre anyways so all the voice and touch stuff is just fluff as far as i'm concerned. Have that with the X1 Infiniti system as well and never really find much use of it.
Its an apple TV like any apple TV its great for airplay and if you're still for some reason stuck with a dumb TV then adds a whole lot of smarts. However you have many options so if airplay isn't necessairy i would suggest looking at the alternatives like Roku, Chromecast, Jadoo etc and you will get much better bang for your buck.

There really isn't anything new with this model its the same as the 2015 so i'm guessing they will be updating this line with the "new" bar tech they have on the macbooks soon as well. However, if you did not find the bar "revolutionary" then this can't be beat especially since it will keep going on sale for 1-200 below cost..
This got 4 stars cause any other product that had not been undated for as long as this laptop would've seen a much higher price drop or be on clearance.

So i have a few Withings products and have always reviewed all of them. They're products are expensive but have always been fairly accurate fromt heir scales to Blood Pressure monitors. I've been looking for a smart thermometer for a while however none were truly worth the price premium or offered accuracy of a traditional oral. Temporal artery thermal scanning is actually very accurate and there are a very few circumstances in which it may not work appropriately for you. So if you are older with multiple co-morbidities then i would recommend a discussion with your physician before purchasing this. However for the general population and especially kids/adolescents this is excellent. The best part is for infants you can test the temperature without actually even touching them.. For neurotic mothers that want to test every 30min this is excellent! you can let the child rest and track the temperature. The accuracy is descent, compared to a medical grade ear thermometer it has always been within 0.5 degrees, generally about 0.1-0.2 degrees lower which really makes no difference diagnostically. If you are in the market for a smart, monitoring thermometer then this is prolly the one to go with. Many of the others still require sanitary replacement covers, are invasive and not any more accurate. This will also display the temperature without the smartphone or internet so can be used anywhere.

Priced like a sony but quality lacking

I'm coming from a few audiophile devices like the Fiio E-18 and the Cowon J3 etc. with some Grado's, P7's and SE535's. I'm no expert in sound quality but i do know what i like. Here is a quick pro/con breakdown of the unit
Pro's
- Battery Life, one of the longest on the market
- Size, ultra-small light, portable
- strictly music oriented, no flare added no bloated costs
- aptX and LDAC codecs for excellent wireless reproduction
- Descent 64GB internal space

Best headphones for <$500

I'm coming from the wired p7 version of these headphones along with the momentum 2.0 wireless headphones. Hands down these are the best sounding headphones that have aptx and aac codec for wireless listening which is much better than anything else currently on the market. Using them wired they actually sound a little better than the original p7's and have a slightly different sound signature, although i may one of the only few that actually prefered the original's sound just a tad. The convenience however of not having ANY wires is superb. Comvined with the sony A17 walkman these things really shine. Can't wait to get my E-18 back from service to try then out with those as well.

I give is 4 and not 5 just cause the write speed could be faster. I also have some samsung pro cards as well as sandisk extreme cards that i use for camera and this one does about 1/4 to 1/2 the speeds of those. It is however larger capacity and fairly cheap if you don't need 4k capable or high bit rates.

Does it need port forward to view remotely through different IP? I got focuscam which can only view in the same IP address, ie. same network.
No unlike the foscam you don't have to do anything it is completely plug and play. I have no issues with it viewing them remotely and even multiple connections to the same camera work great.
