good for home but captures like a home camcorder

I bought this to use for documenting activities at the community center. However the video quality is definitely 'camcorder' like. Its hard to explain but its very jumpy and focus is not always there and hunts to an extent. I was looking for something that at least with raw output would provide somewhat better video quality. We ended up returning this and just going with a DSLR

Disappointed but still great

Its a case/keyboard however i find that after about 6 months of use now the touchpad as nice as it feels is just not as responsive. I've also encountered times when i've tried to type and for some reason the keyboard will not just be recognized and i have to remove wait and reattach for it to start working again. However love the backlighting and the sensors do a great job of lighting up just as you are reaching for the keys so you don't have to hit a random key to get the lights on anymore.
I may take it in to have it looked at for the touchpad issue but other than that it has held up exceptionally well!

Much more then a "tablet", what apple should do

I moved away from PC's almost 15 years ago and this was my first purchase back into the PC world. I have to say it is excellent. Everything you could need, i no longer carry my macbook pro retina or even the air anywhere i want to go, this is all that comes with. Its a full computer when needed and a tablet when needed. It does both exceptionally as well not lacking behind in one or the other. the i5 is a must and because of its design i would suggest considering this 8GB 256GB version over the slightly lower priced one cause you will not be able to upgrade after.

Excellent audio quality, noise canceling is ok

So I've had the jawbones since they came out with the big jawbone 1.0 then the icon and then the era. I use them mainly while driving or generally noisy environments and the jawbones have been excellent. They're only down side is the fact that they need to be in contact with your jaw and long use can wear on your ear. Under normal conditions the sound quality from the plantronics headset is far better, however in specifically windy situations jawbone still has an edge in noise canceling tech. Also,since jawbone doesn't have the boom style mic I'm less worries that I'll snap the boom compared to my plantronics. I do however generally reach for my plantronics over the jawbone for all the additional features it offers like auto answer, built in unlimited caller announce and even the fact that I can see battery life right away without having to put it on. The charge case is also very handy! Not only for transport but to give you that 16hrs or talk time and you don't have to plug in your headset and can just leave the case plugged in as needed. Overall I only took 1 star off for the noise canceling but if I could do half stars I would give it back 0.5 because it is more comfortable to use than the jawbones.

Excellent picture and sound quality

I now have 2 of these cameras and they are superb. The picture quality is much better than the 720p foscam ones I've got and they are definitely much more reliable requiring very few resets and restarts. The delay is also very minimal I'd say between 2-3sec and the audio quality both back and forth is very clear. Only thing I can't figure out is how to use the web interface from a PC to use the voice feature. Highly recommended since there is no monthly subscription and has a SD slot for loop recording and access through the app.

remote access
Does it need port forward to view remotely through different IP? I got focuscam which can only view in the same IP address, ie. same network.
No unlike the foscam you don't have to do anything it is completely plug and play. I have no issues with it viewing them remotely and even multiple connections to the same camera work great.
