Excellent Sound, Comfortable, & Great Battery Life

I recently took the JBL Everest headphones on a 25 mile, 3 day backpacking trip. They were my one luxury item, and they were wonderful. I needed headphones that would require charging, and they worked perfect. I only wore them at night, while going to sleep, but I used the 2-3 hours every night. They still had enough charge after the trip to work through a workout. I forgot to charge them and was so happy that they still survived my 2 hour workout. The ability to fold the headphones was also perfect for the limited space in my bag.
The sound is superb, and they are incredibly comfortable. I normally like over-the-ear headphones, but I am now sold on on-the-ear headphones.
The last feature I love on these headphones is that they also have a mic and can be used for phone calls. The noise cancelling works excellent, meaning I can talk even when it is windy or I am in some other loud environment.

The Best Bluetooth Earbuds for the Gym

While I love Bluetooth earbuds, prior to using the JLAB Epic 2 Wireless Sport Earbuds, I have always found that they eventually come out of my ears at the gym. The over-wire design of the JLAB Epic 2 Wireless Sport Earbuds, however, completely alleviates this issues. JLAB uses their "memory wire" to allow you to shape the top of the earbuds so that they are both comfortable, and secure. Running is no longer an issue, as these earbuds don't move at all.
Speaking of comfort, JLAB has started including 8 different earbud covers that fit everything from small, shallow ears, to large ears. I love the flexibility these offer, as I know that buying a pair of these as a gift for someone, I know they will have the perfect fit.
The battery life on these is amazing. They will play music for approximately 12 hours. This means that they can survive a week at the gym without needing a charge. The in-line controls are great, allowing you to easily adjust the volume, change tracks, play/pause music, and answer phone calls. "Google Now" also worked very well with the Epic 2s.
The sound quality is also great. It won't replace over the ear headphones for full bass, but no earbuds truly will. That said, these are my new go-to earbuds, and I can't imagine replacing them.

Easy SmartThings Management

The Samsung Connect Home Pro is both a Wi-Fi router AND a SmartThings hub. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and Z-Wave Plus connectivity.
While I have been very happy with the Wi-Fi performance on its own, which has achieved speeds as fast as any other router I have used, with strong connections through up to 2 walls, the most interesting feature about the Connect Home Pro is its ability to control your home automation devicces and systems. Using the Samsung app, you have control over individual devices, and can also setup "Activities."
"Activities," such as leave the house, allow you to have preset actions for multiple devices, such as checking that all automated door locks are locked, specific lights are off (or on), and to raise or lower your thermostat temperature to save money. The limits to what can be accomplished with this are pretty much limitless, especially as more "smart" devices are developed for the home.
The Connect Home Pro supports piggybacking more than one unit together to create a strong, mesh network, but doesn't come in multi-packs. You can only buy the faster Pro units individually at this time, whereas the non-Pro version are available in a 3-pack. The only other downside is that I wish the unit had more than 1 Ethernet output port. If you plan on having this device near your living room entertainment setup, and have multiple gaming systems that you want to hard wire, you will need an Ethernet switch.

Now that gaming equipment is becoming affordable, I am loving the options.
This HP Omen 25 monitor is part of my first foray into having a gaming PC rig. I have an HP Omen Desktop that looks so great with this monitor. I love the style and look of the monitor, but I wish the monitor had a way to raise or lower it like my old monitor had. That said, the performance and features of this monitor are awesome.
The HP Omen 25 monitor sports two USB 3.0 ports to plug your peripherals into, as well as DisplayPort and HDMI connections. It features 1 ms response times, and has a refresh rate of 144Hz. I didn't realize how much of a difference this would make until I started up some games. The picture is so clear, but better yet, the movements are SO smooth.
Another great feature is that the monitor has a headphone holder so your headphones don't have to lay out on the desk when not in use. I love this, as I have started using headphones for gaming at night. Including an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable was also a nice touch.

A Ton of Fun, and Interesting

This is an excellent summer project for children. It is recommended for 8 years and up, but we put it together with a 6 and 10 year old, and they both loved it. This educational "toy" lays some nice groundwork to get kids interested in electricity and other elements of engineering. We had a ton of fun putting it together, and are now looking for a new project.
The unit itself, once assembled, is very neat looking, in an industrial sort of way. IT also features LED lights that can be changed using the IOS app (more on that later). As expected with BOSE products, the sound is excellent, and the kids were so impressed with themselves after completing such a cool project with such impressive results.
The only down side to this project kit is that it is currently only supported by IOS (Apple) devices. It will work with iPads or iPhones, but there doesn't seem to be any Android support for changing the lights, but you can connect to the speaker with an Android device just for audio. Luckily, we just received an iPad from a friend, so we were good to go.
If you're looking for a fun, cool, educational project for your children this summer, look no further. IT is something they may use on a daily basis, and continue to be proud of their accomplishment. I predict this being shown off a lot to my daughter's friends especially.

Great, Safe, Children's Headphones

After spending a few hours with the JBuddies Folding Kids Headphones, my daughter loves these them. They sound great, and I can rest easy knowing these headphones won't damage her ears. This is due to the built-in volume regulator that keeps the volume below 85dB.
She loved that you can pick which pictures you put over the cups, and she actually made some pictures of her own to truly make them hers. The included 3D stickers were cute, but she wanted something even more personalized.
They fold up for travel or storage, which is another big plus.
Another added bonus is that these sit on the ears, instead of covering them. while man people like ear cups that completely cover the ears, people with glasses tend to like these smaller cups better. My daughter said these were way more comfortable than her old earphones that covered her whole ear.
Overall, she loves these headphones, and I can rest easy knowing her ears are safe.

Wireless Earbuds? Yes Please

The LG Tone Free Bluetooth headphones are an amazing piece of equipment with just a few drawbacks. The feature a neck piece to hold the earpieces when not in use, but unlock many similar headsets, the LG Tone Free headphones are wireless. This adds a lot of comfort when wearing the headphones. Making them great for workouts and shorts hikes (more on battery life later).
The Tone Free headphones have an excellent 33 ft. wireless range. Your typical user will not need that amount of distance, as they will typically have their phone or MP3 player on them. The Bluetooth signal is good enough that I haven’t had any loss of signal while using them at the gym.
The battery life on the headphones is around 3 hours of use, or 82 hours in standby mode. The battery life is perfect for casual use, but wouldn’t work well as a primary headset for someone who is on the phone all day. It also means that if you have longer workouts, the headphones will be much closer to needing a charge when done. For those who go on long hikes and listen to music, this battery life will probably not suffice, but I would recommend wired headphones if that is your need.
The music quality is excellent considering these are just earbuds and not full, over-the-ear headphones. I enjoyed good highs and lows, and generally found the music playback to be great.
The only real downside of these headphones is that when using them for calls, only one of the headphones works. Having stereo sound for calls would have been a nice added feature.

A Great Keyboar for Personal Presentations on Your

I was already happy with my standard Surface 4 keyboard. I didn't know that there was anything left to be desired, but then I tried the Brydge 12.3 Bluetooth Keyboard, I saw that there were some things I was missing
I use my surface almost exclusively for presentations. While these are sometimes presentations for groups, when I have a one-on-one presentation, the Brydge keyboard is perfect, as I can keep the keyboard in front of me, but set the monitor in front of my client. This ensures I'm not having to reach across them to demonstrate anything.
The backlit keys are great. Every device I own has them now, and I'm never going back.
The Brydge keyboard also protects your surface a lot more than the standard Surface keyboards due to its aluminum design, meaning you can rest easier on the go.
If you are looking for the best keyboard option for your Surface 3 or 4, look no further. The Brydge 12.3 should serve all of your needs.

Powerful Cordless Trimmer Packs a Lot of Pecision

My favorite feature of the Panasonic Precision Cutting System is the quick adjust dial. Maintaining a beard can be a lot of work if you want it to look nice and groomed (I often just let it run wild). The quick adjust dial easily shaved 15 minutes off of the time it used to take me to properly groom my beard. With so many settings on the dial, a nice fade can be achieved at home.
The blades cut through my dense beard surprisingly easy, especially for a cordless trimmer. A single charge on this trimmer lasts for about 30 minutes, meaning that a single charge should be able to get you through our typical business trip or weekend getaway.
For some, being able to use this in the shower will be a big plus, as it is waterproof, but I rarely shave in the shower, as I am not capable of grooming myself well without a mirror.

A Great Mesh WiFi Option

The Ally Plus Whole Home Smart WiFi System is an affordable, easy to setup mesh WiFi system with some excellent special features.
Starting with the setup of the system. The setup is quick and easy. It only took about 15 minutes to have excellent, full coverage throughout the house. Speedtest.net results were excellent, even at the furthest reaches of the WiFi coverage. The Ally Plus system provided speeds similar to other Mesh networks I have had experience with. I was able to stream 4K test videos to all areas of my house, and my VOIP phone service also worked well in all covered areas.
Here is where the Ally Plus system gets interesting. Using just your cellphone, you can manage your home network. Management includes being able to set times when the Internet won't be available, to ensure family time happens with everyone's full attention. You can also manage which sites your kids can visit, allowing some parental guidance for web use, even when you aren't in the room. The Ally Plus system is all you need for an excellent home WiFi network, with plenty of protection. The addition of AVG antiviral services ensures your devices will be protected from malicious software attacks.

I’m confused. How/ where does it get ota channels? Is there an antenna that comes with it? Similar to the digital antenna I use now for local channels? Or does it get the local ota channels and stream to device via the internet?
It actually has a coaxial cable plug-in so that you can use any OTA antenna with it.You should be able to use the digital antenna you mentioned in your question. That said, you can get a new, Smart 4k TV for around $300-$450, so I would go that route unless you are on an extremely tight budget. 4k, plus Roku is a much better option in my opinion. If nothing else, Roku isn't going anywhere.

Yes, the HP Omen 25 supports Freesync. The HP Omen 27, on the other hand, supports G-Sync, an alternative to Freesync that requires NVIDIA GPUs to work.

It supports Nest devices, but you would have to contact AT&T about future integration, but currently it isn't supported.

No, not at this time. IT also doesn't support Amazon Music. It currently only supports Google Play Music, Spotify, Pandora, and YouTube Music.

Can this be used if the phone the main account is tied to is not at home? IE: Could my wife ask it to play music from Google Play if I'm not there? I'm not asking about family accounts but if this will remember my account if my phone isn't around?

Yes, you must make sure your door locks are compatible, but it does support this function.
