Still needing a GPS that has it all

GPS devices used to have their place. Then, smart phones and the multitude of driving apps. I thought MAYBE this unit would compete, but it just doesn't. I expect real time data helping the GPS help me see the best route to take, avoiding accidents, backed up traffic, etc., much like the apps available on my smart phone do. Time and time again, the unit had me right in the middle of heavy traffic. I used the app on the phone, and was back to moving on a different route within minutes.
Great graphics. Great information, although ultimately not the right information. If you want to know where you currently are, this is your unit. If you want to know the best way to keep moving towards your destination, look elsewhere.

Its a charging cord... with a magnet for the Apple Watch. What could go wrong? I don't use it where the charging cord is being mobile with me every day, being plugged and unplugged all the time. It is routed to a Nomad charging stand (similar to the model# NOMADSTAND-APPLE-SG-001) that works well (also purchased at Best Buy, of course).

SO I actually bought two of these guys. The first one was returned after the silent switch on the upper left hand side of the device would not operate the silent switch on the iPhone. According to a couple of Best Buy reps, this was the first time they experienced an issue like that. SO the second one replaced the first, and after using it several days, I can say the following: The pros: Its got a much better feel than the lifeproof equivalent (I have owned one of these as well). Its smooth lines make for a comfortable feel when using the phone. The case also seems to be more rugged than the lifeproof equivalent. The cons: As with its competitors in the market, you have to have an earphone jack adaptor. Also, the sound coming from this when using the speakerphone sounds like a band of drunken musicians on kazoos. Its horrible. MUCH worse than any lifeproof I have ever had, hands down. The sound is not too bad when using the phone without speakerphone, but several people I talked to claimed I sounded muffled.

The concept isn't new, but the design features a few extras that got my attention, and eventually landed it at the cashier. The pros: The MAGNET on this thing is EXTREMELY strong. Its impressive. The cons: The vent clips are too weak for the extremely strong magnet. Every time I tried to retrieve the phone, I ripped the entire device loose from the air vents. I guess you could permanently adhere the device to anywhere in your vehicle, but as far as using it as the intended design goes, its lacking. I would not recommend this to a friend.

You won't find a better daily clean

I was a long time Sonicare user.... I went through two different models, including the most expensive model offered, the Phillips Sonicare Diamond Care model, which lasted a hair over two years. It was a disappointment to have a toothbrush that cost about $200 not last longer. In a way, I am glad it didn't last longer, because it was this disappointment that pushed me to try something new. I chose the Oral-B 7000. Within days, my teeth were whiter. My gums felt better. The overall cleaning improvement over the sonicare was very apparent. The Oral-B requires a little more room in your mouth (the toothbrush head is larger than the Sonicare), but I think the end result is more than worth the slight inconvenience. After a few days, I quit noticing that particular difference. This is a MUCH better cleaning tool than the Phillips Sonicare products, and costs less!

What's the major difference b/t the 8610 & 8620 (8620 MSRP is $100 more). Look the same even tho 8620 weighs almost 10 lbs more?
I used the 8610 daily, and had very few issues with it. Occasionally I would have top feed issues, or paper feed issues. From a personal preference perspective, I think the 8620 is more user friendly. I also think wireless connections are quicker (I didn't time either one, but it seems the 8620 is a quicker machine.) I have not had any paper feed issues with the 8620, and it is used daily.

Does my Mac computer require a Cd port for this printer to work with my Mac because it doen't have a CD port?
I print to the 8620 from a MacBook Pro, which does not have a CD drive. I use wireless connection, and have no issues.

Simultaneous / Dual connectivity possible? (Wired and Wireless)
We would like to connect this printer to two different computers simultaneously. One uses wireless to access the internet the other only uses the ethernet. So they are on two different "networks" so to speak. Can we set up the printer to be accessible to both? Use a wireless connection for the wireless computer and a USB connection for the ethernet style computer ? Will that cause a problem with the printer?
You should have no issues with a "dual connection". I say this with confidence, as I currently use the HP Officejet 8620 with a hard connection as well as wireless connection for ease of printing around the office (I can print things directly from my iPhone, or a laptop using the same Wi-Fi connection, or I can print documents from the desktop for a more secure connection.)

Yes, the HP Officejet Pro 8620 is Energy Star rated. If you would like to verify my answer, please visit your favorite Best Buy store, ask the knowledgeable customer service representatives, and/or look at the box on the shelf, where you will find the energy star rating. I understand reviewing merchandise online can be confusing, as information provided can be contradicting.
