OK, so I know it's a bit of an overkill, but I recently purchased an LG OLED TV to replace a rather old and failing bedroom set, and I figured that I'd upgrade the sound system at the same time, in order to support 4K, Dolby Atmos and HDR. I chose the S7800, and I have no regrets. The system arrived in one (very large) box, but was relatively easy to unpack and set up. (I did however need help in moving the box inside.) The on-screen menus are relatively straightforward, and although I'm a "tinkerer', I found that I really didn't have to make too many adjustments. Using the included calibration microphone, the system pretty much adjusted itself. I did however have make a few more level tweaks to suit my personal taste. I also took the time to rename the inputs so that they better describe my source devices. The remote is simple, albeit perhaps a bit basic, but it does the job. The lack of backlighting makes it a bit difficult to see in a darkened room.. Also, as others have noted, the included speaker wire is a bit thin so before my unit even arrived, I purchased 14AWG speaker wire to accommodate longer runs.
From a sound perspective, the Onyko S7800 delivers crisp, clear, rich sound, with excellent (Dolby) separation. The powered subwoofer has a down-firing element that provides that "punch". However, I'm still trying to make adjustments because there are times that I wish the bass was a bit deeper. Overall though, it's very acceptable. As for the speakers, they too seem to be well built and produce good sound. It wasn't as convenient for me to hang them on the wall, so I purchased stands for both the fronts and the rear satellites in order to raise them to a proper ear level. One thing I should note about Dolby Atmos, the two front speakers have separate up-firing cones on the top of them to serve as the Atmos "height" speakers. The idea is that they are supposed to reflect sound off of the ceiling and back down, giving the illusion of sound coming from above. In theory that works but in practice, it doesn't produce the same full Atmos effect as experienced when you have actually installed speakers in the ceiling. (Unfortunately, I'm one of those who can't justify the time and expense to install ceiling speakers ... especially in a bedroom.) The problem with the up-firing technology is that (at least in my case), despite raising the height of my front speakers as much as possible (without making them too high to serve as front speakers), my ear is still able to directly hear sound emanating from the top cones, as opposed to hearing only the sound being bounced off the ceiling. That sort of kills some of the Atmos effect.
One other observation concerns Dolby Vision. My new TV supports Dolby vision. Although the S7800's receiver does seemingly have the necessary hardware specs to support DV pass-through, it won't necessarily do so (even when more DV sources are available). That's because (as I understand it), there would have to be a firmware upgrade in order to allow Dolby Vision to even pass through the receiver, and nowhere have I seen Onkyo make any claims that DV is, or will be, supported by this system. If your eventual plans are to use this with a 4K system and have a Dolby Vision capable Blu-Ray player, you may not be able to pass that signal through this particular Onkyo model. So if DV pass-through is important to you, it might be best to look some of the other 2017 receivers that *are* promising DV support.
Overall, this is an excellent unit. I highly recommend it.

Admittedly, I've had this washer (and the matching dryer) for only a couple of weeks, so everything I'm saying is based upon my first impressions. This was a replacement for an out-of-warranty, 9-year-old Kenmore Elite front loader that had begun to experience electronic issues and failed washes. After evaluating the cost (and time) to have it repaired, I decided that a new washer (with a new warranty and service plan) would be my best choice. I chose the LG WM5000 and matching dryer.
One of the selling points for me on this washer was its size. For my needs, the 4.5 cu. ft. capacity is more than adequate. (I've already washed a king-size comforter.) Yet, the machine itself is small enough to fit within my laundry closet (which has a 37" depth.) Note that you can't stack this particular set because the detergent and bleach dispensers are under a sliding door on the top of the unit. However, that isn't a concern for me as my closet is designed for side-by-side installation of the washer and dryer. I also chose not to purchase the optional add-on 'Sidekick' (pedestal) washer since I really don't need the extra capacity, but it's nice to know that I can always add it later if I need to.
Best Buy's installation was excellent. They arrived on time and quickly had the new washer/dryer set installed, balanced and tested. Of course I couldn't wait to try my first wash. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is. My Kenmore front-loader had something called "Quiet-Pak", and I thought that was really quiet. This LG is even quieter, so much so that at one point I walked back into my laundry area just to make sure it was running. This washer also seems to balance the loads really well, and has a much better anti-vibration system than on my previous washer. (My laundry closet is on the second level of my house, so vibration is a concern of mine.) No problems whatsoever though.
As for the wash itself, my clothes came out very clean and smelling fresh. So far, I've only used the Normal and "Speed Wash" cycles but haven't yet tried the steam. Just as with my previous washer, there are likely to be cycles and settings that I'll never need to use. Still, the normal cycle completes in about 40 minutes, and the speed cycle completed in less than 30 minutes. Obviously, adding options (such as extra rinses and steam) will add to that time. (It's also nice to be able to turn on the drum light mid-wash to see how things are going.)
Regarding the WIFI, as some have noted the phone app wasn't the most straightforward to set up. In my case, I have two different wireless routers in my house, both of which are supposedly compatible with this washer. Yet, for some reason the washer refused to connect to the router I wanted it to, and would only connect to the other one (with the weaker signal.) After figuring out what was going on though, I was able to get the WIFI feature up and running. I'm not really sure how useful it will be in the long run. For now, it's a bit of a novelty to have my cell phone alert me when the wash is done. I can also start the washer remotely and monitor its progress. (Will I ever really need to use that feature ... who knows?) Unfortunately, the one WIFI related feature than might have been the most practical and useful, 'Smart Grid', is one that I can't use. That's because 'Smart Grid' requires support from your utility company, and mine does not support it.
The only other thing I'll note about the WIFI is that it seems that iPhone support is either limited or non-existent. (Supposedly iPhone support will eventually be available.) I'm an Android user so it doesn't affect me. However, I've noticed that some reviewers have lowered the rating of the washer, simply because of the (current) lack of iPhone support. I fully agree that if you're an iPhone user and the WIFI feature is really important to you, knowing this information and to sharing it with others is worthwhile. So in that respect, those ratings are fair and reasonable. However, although it works well for me as an Android user, the WIFI feature seems to be more of a novelty than a necessity. When researching the various brands and models, my focus was on whether the machine would adequately meet my needs in terms of washing my clothes. So based on that, and my limited experience with this washer, I give it 5 stars.

First of all, I've had this printer for only one week, so this review is certainly not the most qualified. However, based upon the short time I've had it, I honestly believe I made the right choice. Setup was relatively easy and the print output is excellent. (Near to, but not quite, laser quality.) Also, this printer uses a newer page-wide print head technology in which the print head itself remains stationary while the paper moves underneath it. This allows for extremely fast printing. General color printing (graphs, charts, etc...) is very good, but it should be noted that this is *not* a "Photo Quality" printer (nor does HP market it that way.) Yes, it can print photos with average quality, but the output won't be as sharp as a dedicated photo ink jet printer.

I have two of the Samsung 850 Pro SSD drives, the 512GB version for my primary system drive, and the 1TB version (partitioned) to serve as my application drives. First, migrating from my old drive was extremely easy. The included migration wizard software transferred my OS, and all of my apps, over to the new SSD. It was painless and in less than a half-hour, I was back up and running with the new SSD --- all applications and settings working just fine as if I'd always had that drive. As for performance, the Samsung SSD Pro line are amongst the fastest. Just check out any of the benchmarks. Blazingly fast.

.I recently built a new system and purchase this PSU to power a water-cooled 8-Core CPU, NVidia GTX 980 ti video card, 11 LED Fans, and 5 disk drives. This modular unit provided me with all the power connections I needed, and has plenty of power to spare. Corsair didn't spare any expense on this one, even down to the packaging.

I've always been a fan of the WD "Black" series of drives. I typically build my own systems, and as far as non-SSD drives go, I consider these to be the best value/performance for your dollar. I recently built a new system and these 4TB are perfect for my storage needs. I put two of these in and have them partitioned as 4, 2-TB logical drives. Plenty of room for photos, movies and of course, backups. As for the performance, if I wasn't using an SSD for my primary drive, I'd have no problem using one of these.
