This kit will do the job, but does not compare favorably to the stock interior surfaces in most import vehicles. Still, if you're just needing a quick fix, grab this kit and forget about it.

Average performance, overrated features

Quick disclaimer: I've never been convinced that these products are truly necessary, let alone effective.
The biggest gripe I have with these niche network items is the claims on the box of throughput. Yes, you can get good throughput using an extender if the extender itself has a strong signal and is in close proximity to the wireless router feeding it.
However, most users are purchasing these under the assumption that this device not only duplicates a wireless signal but also amplifies it. It does no such thing. In fact, it actually degrades the existing wireless signal somewhat while broadening the range of this weakened, slower network.
My Xbox One on the first floor gets between 17-20mbps from my upstairs Asus 5ghz router, which is fed by a 60mbps Charter internet connection. With the repeater installed, the speeds dropped to 10-12mbps, even though the signal strength was maxxed out.
Keep this in mind before purchasing any extender. This one works, but it didn't work the way I had hoped.

I don't know much about dryers, but...

I selected this dryer because my dad is a Gas Man, which for the uninitiated is the term used to describe someone who enjoyed a career in the energy industry.
I probably would have gone with the cheaper electric had I not spoken with my dad first, but the instant-on performance and energy savings (in my market at least) of the gas variety was a convincing argument.
This unit is intuitive, attractive, and built of nice quality materials. The fit and finish appear comparable to much more expensive units, and I feel I got a great deal with the five year extended warranty.
I also purchased the matching washer, which itself is a beast of an engineering feat; quiet, voluminous, attractive.
Set-up of the dryer was easy, but keep in mind you'll need to bring your own Gas Man for install, as Geek Squad shies away from the safe-but-flammable and highly politicized Fuel of the Gods.

I am very disappointed. I have just bought this laptop, but when I looked at the size of the hard drive in Windows, the size appears to be 237 GB and it should be 256GB as published. Any ideas? Thanks. p.d. Yes the fan is really annoying. :(
It is normal for a 256gb drive to appear lower after formatting. See this article for further explanation:

As for the fan, you can minimize this by adjusting a few of the background processes. I had to do this myself and it now runs whisper-quiet unless it is under load.

I need a computer that can easily edit 4K video (such as GoPro) in a video editing program without lag and choppy playback. Does this computer fit the bill?
Yes. the 710 with 4k and 16gb of RAM includes the i7 Kaby Lake CPU, which can really rip through most video editing tasks. I can't guarantee your NLE program won't miss a beat once in a while since all editing environments vary depending on the complexity and number of tracks you're working with, but I would feel comfortable relying on the 710 as a mobile workstation. I personally edit with Vegas 9 64-bit in 1080p and it is an absolute screamer with its built-in GeForce 940 MX. Hope this helps!
