GE - 5-Speed 72-Oz. Blender - Stainless Steel
I have been very happy with this blender and its minimalistic design. It is very modern looking and is an appliance you would want to leave out on your counter for guests to see. The simple switches and dial make it easy to use and you don’t have to sit and read a panel of different buttons when using it. I am impressed with the suction cup feet, this machine did not budge even with a pretty full blending jar and no hands on it. I also liked the fairly long power cord, but even better was the little brackets on the back to wrap and hide the power cord when not in use. I have seen blenders two to three times the price of this one without such a convenient feature. The noise level was also quieter than I expected, even at full speed, I was expecting people in the room not to be able to hear each other but we could still talk while it ran. The blending jars blade mechanism seems to be very sturdy and has more blades on it than I’ve seen from other blenders. I also like the lid and its 3 separate pieces, it all fits together very nicely with no leaks, and is also very easy to clean. Overall this is one of the nicer blenders I have used and I would definitely recommend it.

This product is very easy to use. The buttons are very clear as far as what the functions are. It only has 4 specific heat settings though, so I wish the temperature could be adjusted to a more specific temperature if necessary. It still has better temperature options than other straighteners I've used that were way more money. It heats up very quickly and also cools off rather fast as well. It did a great job straightening but I still had to go over some spots 2-3 times. It works best if you use it slowly and on small chunks of hair, but that is the case with nearly every straightener out there so no complaints on that. It is very lightweight and I imagine it would be very easy to travel with! It is one of the smaller straighteners I've seen but it does not lack in performance because of that. I would really recommend this product.

This product is relatively easy to use. It has various heat settings, but I needed to read the manual to figure out what they were because it does not specifically say it on the iron itself. It allows for a wide range of heat settings, but I found that I needed to turn the temperature up a few times despite its recommendation for my hair type. Also, the piece that rests on the countertop while it is not in use is very small, so an additional heat mat may be necessary depending on where you are using it. I found that it mostly showed curls at the bottom of my hair, instead of tighter curls throughout which is what I was expecting. It made for an effortless light curl; I would recommend this product.

This vacuum has blown away my expectations I had for it. Based on its price point, I was expecting a middle of the road product, but I quickly decided I like it much better than other vacuums I have used from other brands that are $50-$100 more. The first wrong assumption I made, again based on the price, was expecting a cheap plastic feeling vacuum, but it is not. The plastic feels smooth and on the thicker side, the attachments feel a little cheaper than the unit and its components, but I would prefer the unit to feel higher quality anyways. It assembled very easily and I like how the attachments and the cord all tuck away nicely, there is nothing worse than getting a vacuum and having a handful of attachments that you need to find a spot for because the unit cannot hold them all. I also like the options for short and long carpet and turning the roller off. Once I started using the vacuum is when my expectations were far exceeded. I have noticed lately that my carpet did not look as fluffy as it did about a year ago when it was new, but the current vacuum in our house was not doing a good job fluffing the carpet, it seems to just brush the surface instead of getting down into the fibers. But this vacuum definitely got down into the fibers and did an excellent job. We were shocked at how much dust came up because we vacuum every couple days and did not expect much to come up. I guess using the right vacuum makes all the difference, the carpet looked and felt cleaner, and so much fluffier, honestly felt nearly brand new again. Being able to turn the rollers off was helpful when vacuuming hardwood and tile as it seemed like the rollers were sometimes pushing bigger debris right behind it before it could vacuum it up so it is a nice feature to have. I also like that the unit can easily be taken off its base and carried while using the wand, I used it in the car and the process was very easy. The unit also did a great job at managing pet and human hair, it seemed to do a more thorough job at cleaning it up and did not clog up the machine or roller. Overall, this is my new favorite vacuum and I highly recommend it. It is well worth its price and for what you get, I would expect the price to be higher.

This projector is such a fun and unique device to have. I can think of many situations it would come in handy or make viewing media of any kind more enjoyable. When I first took it out of the box, my first impressions were that it was pretty small and light, but also felt pretty cheap. The plastic housing and the buttons all felt pretty cheap, it does not have a "quality built" feel to it. I did like the remote and all the functions it can do, as well as all the different inputs this projector can take. I also like that it has a tripod mount. My preferred and perhaps many people's preferred input is the hdmi input. It is very versatile, I know I have a laptop I can plug into it if need be. But more importantly, I purchased an additional adapter from hdmi to USB-C, so I can plug it directly into my Samsung phone and tablet. For me personally, the options are endless at that point for what I could use this projector for. I have already streamed several movies from streaming platforms on the tablet and it worked perfectly. Important to note that although this projector has a built-in speaker, it sounds absolutely terrible and I would consider finding a different option for sound. I connected my tablet to a bluetooth speaker and it was much better. As far as video quality, it's clearly not a screen, you can't compare it to one or expect it to look like one, but it honestly looked better than I was expecting nonetheless. It was bright, colors looked okay, and it was not blurry or pixelated. I can see this being perfect for video games, especially with big groups. Again, not for someone looking for insane video quality, but for someone looking for a huge screen, this is a good option. Also will be great for outdoor summer movies, it is not difficult to setup and it will be perfect. You can finally have a "TV screen" where you've always wanted but it was never practical to put one. For example on our deck in our gazebo, during summer months this will probably be used nightly. I can also see this being perfect for events such as graduation parties for pictures, or weddings, etc. I also love the feature that changes the angle of the screen to make up for having to use the projector at an angle up at something. I aimed this up at the ceiling from a tripod on the floor and it was easy to adjust the angle and make the picture be more rectangular. Again, this projector has many different situations and settings that it will be perfect for. I am more than satisfied with it.

These earbuds have been somewhat enjoyable to use so far. I have noticed these headphones seem to be a trade of comfort for good sound. For my ears at least, these earbuds feel rather large. Not so much that they stick out far, but that overall the bud itself is pretty big around and I really struggle to get them to stay in and more importantly stay in place comfortably. Luckily Yamaha gives you several different bud tips and covers to find what works best and it has helped slightly. Once the earbuds are comfortably in place though, you realize the sound quality of these headphones is impressive and they have a high quality sound to them. They sound very clear and the base is higher than expected and I love it. It seems to be difficult to find headphones that are strong when it comes to base and treble but these excel in that category. Without even having to change any equalizer settings I am very happy with these earbuds. I have listed to music, movies, tv shows, and a podcast with these and all situations were enjoyable. As long as you can get these comfortably in your ear, you will love them, highly recommended!

These JLab headphones seem to be really good for the price. The battery life is great, everytime I see the percentage I expect it to be lower than it is. They are also very comfortable, the foam around the headpiece is nice, as well as around the ears. I also like that these headphones are bigger and literally fit over your entire ear, and seem to even be ear shaped. So many over ear headphones squeeze onto your ear so they can get uncomfortable. But because these just sit around your ear rather than on top of it, they are very comfortable and I have been able to easily wear them for hours at a time. They also seem to not be too loose or too tight, I have not had any issues with them sliding off my head, even when looking down at something or laying in bed. I will say though that these headphones do not have the best sound quality, I know JLab can make a better sounding headphone than this but these specific ones are just lacking. The base could be better. It is not a very crisp or clear sound, sounds more muddy. It is nice though that there are three different sound types to choose from and changing them are easy. I like that I can easily rotate through them to find the setting that works best with each song. It still just seems like no matter what setting is on, the sound quality is just lacking. But again for the price point and the positives these headphones do have, I would still recommend them. These would be great for kids or teens who maybe shouldn't quite be trusted with more expensive headphones yet.

The more I use these headphones the more I like them! They are easily the most comfortable over ear headphones I have ever used. The pressure against the ears is just perfect, not too tight and not too loose that they slide around. I have worn them while working on the computer for 6-8 hours a day several times now and not once did I feel like I needed a break from them. I can also easily wear them while laying in bed and they do not slide backwards and off my ear. I also noticed that along with being able to wear these headphones for long periods of time, the battery life can keep up with the usage as well and has exceeded my expectations. They seem to charge very quickly thanks to the usb-c charging port, and it seems like after hours of use at a medium volume, the battery percentage barely drops. I am really impressed that along with the comfort and battery life, these headphones sound great. They have a very rich sound and I have zero complaints about it. I've noticed many headphones on the market have so many sound options and features that they tend to distort music so much that it doesn't even sound like the song anymore. But these are not doing anything crazy to change the sound, it is just producing the sound really really well. The base and treble sound spot on, and I don't notice any lacking in vocals. Both music and movies sound fantastic. I also love the one button control and all the things it can do in one small joystick. Volume and song change adjustments are very easy. I'm glad these headphones do not have any hidden touch pad areas that tend to get bumped by mistake, changing your song or volume. The control is very simple but it easily does everything you need. Overall, Marshall knocked it out of the park with these headphones and I love them. These are well worth the money and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for high quality bluetooth headphones.

This handheld carpet cleaner has many pros to it that make it well worth the price. I was very excited about this handheld option because our household still uses our 20 year old upright Hoover carpet shampooer and it still works as good as the day we bought it, but for smaller jobs such as spot stains, stairs, and vehicles, it was always a pain to lug around the big machine. I was ecstatic when I realized I could use something from the same brand that was a fourth of the size and weight of the old upright. When I first opened the PowerDash, the compact size had me extremely impressed. I also loved that there was a great power cord storage spot, as well as attachment hose storage spot. I only wish there was a clip or storage area for the nozzle/extra attachments. This handheld cleaner is excellent for smaller spot stains, as well as stairs because it is so compact, lightweight, and has a fairly long power cord. An added bonus is that I found this unit to be fairly quiet compared to other vacuums. I was also happy with the suction power of this unit, I was worried that its smaller size would mean weak suction but it was enough to get dirt, stains, and water out. I also used this to shampoo all the seats and carpeting in my vehicle and it worked very well. I had rust stains in the carpet that I was able to get up. And the amount of dirt and small debris in the water everytime I dumped it out was alarming. While using this cleaner in my car I saw a couple improvements that could be made to make this product easier and more versatile. The solution tank is extremely small. Again for small spots or stairs, it would be fine. Doing an entire vehicle had me refilling the tank with hot water roughly 8-12 times. I also realized it would be great if the hose was a little bit longer. In a smaller sedan it may not be an issue, but for SUVs and trucks the hose just felt too short, even when having the unit in the vehicle with me. I also noticed at some points there was soapy water leaking and blowing out of the back of the unit where the motor vents from. The unit was on a flat surface and the tank was not even half full yet so I am unsure of the cause, but at one point I unplugged the unit and let it sit and dry out for a while as I was worried about any components getting wet that should not be. I was also disappointed with the sprayer function, everytime I pressed the trigger, it would start out in a nice broadcast pattern (identical to the pattern the handheld hose nozzle on our 20 year old Hoover), but within no more than a second or two, the stream would die down to just a piddle and it did not distribute the water evenly at all and it made the job take longer. Not between this issue, and the water spraying out of the vent issue, I wondered if I may have gotten a defective product but aside from those issues the unit worked well. Overall, as I said this would be excellent for a household with pets or children where spots and stains on upholstery is inevitable. The small size but strong suction power makes it perfect for tasks like that.

This monitor is fantastic and it has exceeded my expectations. It is my 3rd monitor of an all Dell 3 monitor system for my desktop. I have become such a Dell fan over the years. I appreciate quality monitors as I use my computer to color correct and edit photos. When I put this next to my main and favorite monitor, a Dell U2718Q, a fantastic monitor as it is, I was impressed with how Dell was able to improve even more since I have purchased that one. The factory settings that this monitor starts with are great for the majority of users, I however lower all of my monitors to 21% brightness and 75% contrast and it was great for when it came to comparing this monitor to other models, especially from the same brand. This monitor is extremely sharp and the quality is great. I really cannot say enough about the quality of the screen. No matter what photo or video I compare, I can see the most detail with this monitor and the refresh rate with movies is great. A huge plus is that the monitor has a built in speaker! It is the only one of my monitors that has a speaker and it is nice to have instead of waiting to connect a Bluetooth speaker when needed. I am also a big fan of the stand. Its full range of movement is great as I tend to move my monitors often and I would never consider a monitor that has a limited range of motion. My only dislike about this monitor is that it does not have a USB port on the back of it. My other high end Dell monitor does have USB ports in it so I find it strange that they stopped using them. I wanted to add LED strip backlighting that is powered by USB and ended up having to run a USB extension cord down to my computer for the power. Not the end of the world, I would just like to see something simple like USB ports built into a monitor at this price point. Overall this monitor is great and is well worth its price. Dell continues to impress me with their monitor quality and I would recommend this model to anyone looking for their main monitor or adding a second monitor. This will also be great for people who work with photos or videos when quality is a must.
