Versatile Blender has Earned a Place in my Kitchen

My kitchen space comes at a premium these days. I have a lot of gadgets, and generally speaking if an appliance can't serve more than one function than I just don't have room for it. Does this Oster Master Series Texture Select blender make the cut? To my surprise yes.
In an attempt to eat healthier I wanted a blender primarily to make smoothies while I try to introduce more fruits, and vegetables into my diet. I also wanted something that would serve more than one function in my kitchen. This Oster blender makes smoothies and more rather admirably.
First off it has a nice build quality. The brushed nickel finish fits in well with my other stainless products. The controls are simple, and intuitive. The motor is powerful. The glass jar is big (6 cups). The "blend-n-go" cup is super convenient, and makes for less cleaning. It is everything I would like to see out of a blender. But can it multitask?
In the right hands yes. The texture select programs will allow for some light food processing. I plan on experimenting to see just what it can do, and what it is best suited for.
Overall I am impressed with the Oster Master Series Blender. It is a great compromise between price, quality, and functionality. Overall I look forward to having it in my kitchen for years to come.

It Will Handle Anything You Can Throw At It.

This router will handle anything you can throw at it. Okay maybe not literally, but in all the ways that matter it is true to the Linksys name which to me means quality, and performance.
I believe I have only ever had Linksys routers. There was that one time I went with the Comcast modem/router combo. That didn't last long. My home has a lot of internet traffic, and Linksys has never failed to meet my needs. How does the new MR9000 (AC3000) stand up to my past experiences? In a few words I would say better than ever.
Unboxing the router I was met with the same quality hardware I have come to expect. Setup is simpler than ever as well. Just download the Linksys App and it will have you up and running after a very easy setup process. Anyone can do this.
When it came time to put the router to the test I was more than satisfied. Like I said my home has a LOT of internet traffic. Multiple smartphones, tablets, smart tvs, laptops, streaming devices, smart home assistants, game consoles (like ten of them), and more. The AC3000 handles it with ease. Honestly. Using nearly all of these devices at the same time I could see no noticeable hitches or slowdowns. I had all 5 ethernet ports occupied and multiples devices using the wifi, and had fantastic results. It also has a USB 3.0 port on the back which I haven't taken advantage of yet, but plan to do so in the future. Our house is about 1,300 sq ft, and there are no dead zones with this router. It claims coverage for homes up to 3,000 sq ft, and even that can be extended with Linksys nodes.
The MR9000 from Linksys has continued to establish a trust with this brand. If you are looking for performance, reliability, and ease of setup look no further. You've found it!

I have used many Wemo products in the past because they always managed to exceed my expectations. I have come to associate their products with quality, and reliability. They just work. Does this 2 pack of Wemo 3 way light switches continue the trend? Absolutely.
I already had a few Wemo switches throughout my house. I have enjoyed them so much I am continuing to replace all of the switches in my house with these. The are very convenient.
I had an electrician friend of mine do the installation on these. I cannot attest to the difficulty of the install myself, but my friend says that it was very simple.
Just like the switches I had bought previously these are high quality, and work exactly as I expected them to. Control through the app is a breeze, and very welcome when I am away from the house. I was also able to connect it to my Echo Show, and I can control my lights with my voice using Alexa. Fantastic.
Overall I would definitely give this a five star review, and fully recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade. You will wish you had done it sooner!

I go through a lot of vacuums in my house. We have hardwood floors, a lot of throw rugs of varying sizes and thicknesses, two dogs, two cats, and five kids. My vacuums need to be built well if they are going to last around here. I can't have it blowing up because it got too much animal hair or a lego in it for instance. I went with the Dyson V10 animal because of their reputation for quality.
Luckily the Dyson has lived up to its reputation, and then some. It has very powerful suction, it's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and also very durable as of this writing.
The only thing I can think to mention as a possible negative would be for people with large houses. The vacuum is obviously battery powered so if you have a large house you may find yourself doing one floor, charging, and then doing the other. It really depends on how thorough you want to be. It is fine for my 1000 sq ft home. Charging is also super easy with the cradle.
For me this is an excellent product worth a five star review. If it can do well in my house it will work well for you too.

I have always wanted to try one of these robot vacuums, but I was never sure if it would work well in my house. We have a combination of hardwood floors, a LOT of throw rugs of varying sizes and thicknesses, furniture, ottomans, toys, tons of pet hair, etc. After hearing over and over again about how people LOVE their robot vacuums I decided why not. I will give it a shot. I have previously been very happy with Shark products so that's what I went with. How did it handle the obstacle course that was my house? Very well actually. Surprisingly well. It even fits under the couch!
Setup of the Shark robot was very simple. Plug in the charging station, pop on a couple of spinning brushes (it comes with 4 extra brushes, and an extra filter), and do some light preparation of the house (pick up anything you don't want sucked up!).
This is where I ran into the only problem with the vacuum. The instructions say to download the Shark Robot App off of the Play Store. This allows you to control the robot while you are away from home. Apparently the app was updated recently, and the update broke a few things. As of this writing I was unable to register for an account on both my phone, and my computer. Because of this I am deducting one star although I expect this to be ironed out sooner rather than later.
I was still able to use the on board controls and the vacuum performed flawlessly! It had no problem maneuvering around all of the obstacles in my home. It also got into some of the harder to reach rooms in the house as well which I wasn't sure if it would be able to do. Overall the robot is very quiet considering it is vacuuming. Still easily able to hold a conversation, or watch tv. It did a great job too. Very thorough. When it was full it reported back to its charging station no problem. The tray was packed full of animal hair, leaves, and all sorts of other stuff. Very impressed! Now I just need to get it some googley eyes, and a costume mustache.
Overall I am very happy I went ahead and got the Shark robotic vacuum. I hope they get the app updated and working properly soon, but it is still great even without it. If you are on the fence I suggest you give it a try. I think you will love it as much as I do!

Since purchasing my old air fryer I have been in love with the concept of air frying. It's fast, healthy, and so much easier than traditional deep frying or pan frying. So why did I get the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven if I was already happy with the one I had? Two reasons. The quality of Ninja products, and the promise of a much more versatile product. Did it live up to that promise? Yes! And then some.
The quality is apparent right out of the box. The size is great too. While it does take up a lot of counter space it sits upright when not in use making its footprint minimal.
The star of the show is of course the food. First off I can make a lot more than my old air fryer. That's one big advantage of its larger size. It includes a tray, a basket, and a rack to add to its versatility. It can also bake, air fry, DEHYDRATE, and much more.
The Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven will be replacing many appliances in my kitchen, and I feel like it will have a place for years to come. Try it out I think you will like it as much as me!!

The Seagate Backup Plus 5TB is a fantastic deal if you are just looking for a basic portable hard drive with a ton of space.
Is it the fastest hard drive I've ever used? No, but it does have usb3.0, and the speeds are more than serviceable for a drive of this type. There is something to be said for having 5TB of storage in your pocket.
I don't use any of the included backup utilities, but they are there if you want to make use of them.
I mainly use this as a backup for all of my video files, and my wife's photography. It has worked to perfection so far. I can't speak to the longevity of the drive, but if it holds up I will be purchasing more of these.
5TB of portable storage for just over $100?! Sign me up. If you are looking for a ton of storage for a little price give this Seagate a try. I am very happy, and I am confident you will be too.

When I was growing up using an antenna to get over the air television signals meant having some massive metal contraption on your tv or the roof of your house, and receiving blurry picture quality on a limited number of channels. Today's antennas give you a clear digital signal for a huge number of channels. The Terk THINTVV3M is a particularly good example of what a modern television antenna can do with it's easy setup, and excellent picture quality.
I cut the cord on cable some time ago, and have been getting most of my entertainment from streaming services like Netflix, and Hulu. Those are great services, but I missed my tv channels. The Terk amplified HDTV antenna means I can still watch the news, sports, and many other things that streaming services don't provide with a very reasonable one time cost instead of a monthly cable bill.
Every aspect of the Terk antennna is well thought out. It's paper thin, amplified, has a built in signal meter, and also has a great app to help you position your antenna to get the best reception for the channels you want to watch. It also has a long (12 foot) cable to give you more flexibility in positioning your device. Just make sure to use the app to get the best results...you will be glad you did. The best part is that the picture quality that comes through is fantastic! Truly leaps, and bounds better than the antennas from the days of old.
If you are ready to cut the cord on cable, but want to make sure you still have access to popular, and important television broadcasts the Terk is the way to go. You don't have to worry about a storm knocking out your cable signal, and more importantly you still have access to the news to keep you informed in such a situation.
Overall I give the Terk HDTV antenna 5 stars. If you are in the market for an antenna you should give it your consideration!

If I had only known how great a dashcam could be I would have had one in my vehicle years ago. I didn't know how useful it would be, but the Nextbase - 322GW Dash Cam shocked me. It's a fantastic camera!
It is super simple to set up. The large touchscreen on the back helps with that. It's very responsive.
It comes with a variety of mounts, and cables. My camera sits right below my rear view mirror, and the cable was tucked away with the handy little tool they included to help hide it along the edges of my headliner.
Video shoots in 1080p 60fps, it looks amazing. It automatically powers on when I start the car, and immediately begins filming. If you have a clip you want to save from being overwritten as the camera continues to record you just press the big red button on the back, and the most recent clip is protected.
I took it on a trip to Alaska, and ended up saving a lot of the footage from it because the quality was so good as it captured the surrounding scenery. As a more practical use you always have a set of eyes of the road everywhere you go. Were you the victim of a car collision that wasn't your fault? You will always have proof.
I really can't say enough good things about the Nextbase. They have found an excellent compromise between price, and quality. If you are considering a dashcam check it out.

As the title states...I should have got this a long time ago. The Epson EcoTank is a revolution for printers. No more ink cartridges that cost more than the printer! What's more is that the tanks are so large, and cheap to fill that you can load them up, and forget about it. You're going to be printing for awhile.
On top of the awesome capacity, and the cheap price of refill ink is a well built, and easy to use printer from Epson. Setup was a breeze. The features of the printer are all intuitive. The build quality is fantastic. This printer is going to last a long time.
I feel weird being so excited about a printer, but this is the way printers should have been from the start.
If you are looking to replace an ink guzzling printer from yesteryear do yourself a favor, and check out the EcoTank ET-3710.
