An Excellent Choice to Add Great Sound to Your TV

This is my second LG soundbar. I was VERY impressed with the first model I had, and when I wanted to spruce up the sound on my bedroom tv I looked to LG again. There are a lot of choices on the market when it comes to soundbars, but after one great experience with LG I fully expected to have another one. Are their soundbars still up to par? In a word...YES!
It is my opinion that LG has found the sweet spot between balancing price, and quality. The build quality is great. The appearance is attractive, but most importantly the sound is amazing. A HUGE step up from the sound from my flat panel tv.
The setup is extremely easy. Unlike a larger setup that involves a receiver, and a bunch of speakers you don't have to worry about running wires all over the room. The soundbar is even compatible with the LG wireless surround speakers. I purchased them for the first LG setup I had, and it was totally worth it. Big theater like surround sound without any of the hassle associated with a larger setup.
With all of the choices out there for different soundbars I fully recommend this one to anyone in the market.

This review is for the Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop. My variant has the Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, a 1TB mechanical hard drive, and a 128GB solid state drive. With that hardware configuration this laptop is quite capable of multitasking movies, music, internet, and intensive gaming, but the best part is that it won't break the bank. I believe this is the best compromise between performance, and price for a gaming laptop today.
The outer casing of the laptop is made of plastic, but the build quality, fit, and finish are all excellent. The best part for me is that it is not a fingerprint magnet. Neither is the screen with its nice matte finished 1080p IPS screen. The design cues suggest that it is a gaming laptop, but it is not gaudy. I find the design very elegant, and classy.
The keyboard is backlit in red which matches the accent color present elsewhere throughout the laptop. Key travel is excellent, and very comfortable to type on.
The internal solid state drive contains the Windows OS, and I also install the rest of my programs there. The computer boots fast, and programs are snappy. All of my other media, and games are stored on the 1tb mechanical drive. There is also a spare M.2 slot if you want to add another SSD.
My variant comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. There is one 8GB chip installed, and a total of 2 slots so you can expand up to 32GB. Even though I am very impressed with the performance of this computer this will be my first upgrade. Why? Why not. It is a cheap, easy, and effective upgrade through the panel on the bottom of the laptop which allows you to access the battery, RAM and M.2 slot.
I tried a variety of Steam games on this laptop from first person shooters to RPGs, and lighter indie programs. I have come away from every one of these experiences thoroughly impressed.
Are there better gaming laptops out there? Sure. But like I said before I do believe this is the absolute best compromise between price, and performance. If you are in the market for a gaming laptop, but don't want to break the bank you should be looking at the Acer Nitro 5. I highly recommend it, and I strongly believe you won't be disappointed.

The Plantronics - Voyager Bluetooth Headset is a solid unit. Plantronics have a long reputation of making quality communications and audio equipment so when I needed a headset for taking calls in my car they were the first company I looked to. Despite a few small personal annoyances I am not disappointed.
Packaging, and most importantly build quality are all excellent. The controls are intuitive. Pairing was simple. Call quality is excellent.
The few minor annoyances for me are the earpiece. They give you a few different sizes to choose from, but none of them are overly comfortable in my ear. You have to remember that this is not like a typical earbud. It sits flat in your ear to allow you to still hear ambient sounds which is necessary while driving. The other annoyance is the proprietary charger. It is a nice charger. The contacts are magnetic so that's good, but if you forget your charger at home you are out of luck. If you want to have a charger cable in your car and on your nightstand you have to buy another charger. I would much rather see a USB solution.
Despite these few minor issues it is a high quality unit, and I would definitely recommend one to anyone in the market. Thanks Plantronics.

I have only recently started using gaming headsets, and at first it seemed like making a decision on which one to get was overwhelming. Without knowing much at all about them I still knew that the ASTRO A40's were one of the most popular choices out there. But is it worth shelling out a few extra dollars to get your hands on a set?
I ended up trying several different sets before landing on the ASTRO A40's. Mostly Turtle Beach sets, and while they were fine for what they are the ASTRO A40's are on another level.
First off they come with the M80 MixAmp. This cradles right into an Xbox One controller, and not only gives you options to adjust your EQ modes, volume, and more, but it also looks great doing it. All of these features are available right at your fingertips. Excellent design.
When I am playing a game I usually switch through the 3 EQ modes to find which I like best for that particular game. One has great bass for being immersed in single player story driven games. Another EQ mode turns up the treble, and allows you to hear footsteps better while in multiplayer. Overall excellent sound.
None of these features would be any good if the headset wasn't comfortable, and luckily it is. Big comfy over the ear headphones, and the mic can be worn on either the left or right side. I am told my voice sounds crystal clear through the mic, and I don't hear any echoing either.
So is it worth spending the extra dollars to get the ASTRO A40's with the M80 MixAmp? Let's just say there is a reason these are so popular. That reputation I mentioned earlier is well earned. In short yes. They are worth the price tag, and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a set of gaming headphones on the Xbox One or PC.

This product didn't work out so well for me, but that doesn't mean it won't be right for you.
First off the unit is nice and small which makes it unobtrusive. The build quality is very good. The instructions are clear, and the operation is straight forward, and easy to understand.

I picked up the Twelve South AirFly Transmitter to use with the Nintendo Switch. The unit paired easily with multiple different sets of bluetooth headphones. When I plugged the AirFly into the Switch's audio jack it simply failed to provide any sound. The on screen indicator of the Switch kept flashing back and forth showing a headphone signal, and a mute signal. At no time could I hear anything, and no amount of troubleshooting fixed the problem.
I do believe this is a good product. If you are looking to use it with Apple Airpods there are special instructions in the owner's manual to help you get up and running. I believe this would be a great device for many different entertainment products that don't have bluetooth. Unfortunately it just wasn't right for me.

If you are looking at this product there are a few things you need to understand. First this camera is an instant print camera just like the old Poloroids. It is not a product designed to give you professional quality pictures and features, but it IS designed to be a whole lot of fun.
That is exactly the experience that my family, and I have had with the Canon IVY Cliq+ Instant Film Camera. It is super simple to use so the kids have had a great time taking selfies with the front facing mirror (which works surprisingly well), and getting funny photos of our pets.
The camera is a little slow to print, but the quality FAR exceeds the instant cameras of yesteryear.
All in all I would recommend this camera to families or anyone wanting to have fun with an instant camera. As long as you know what to expect going in this camera represents a great value for the money.

I actually got this deadbolt to replace one that I already had. This seemed more fully featured, and the bronze finish matched the new hardware we installed on our front door. To be honest I figured that most smart deadbolts were basically the same and I wasn't expecting much of a difference in the overall experience. Boy was I wrong. This deadbolt is incredible in it's combination of security features, and ease of use.
When I first saw a picture of the Lockly Secure Pro Bluetooth Deadbolt I thought it was odd that the numbers on the touchscreen were configured in the little circles, and not in a standard keypad layout. It turns out this is a great security feature! Every time you input your entry code it changes the numbers to a new location so nobody will be able to see the pattern you use, and repeat it to gain entry.
The fingerprint reader is easy to set up, and very accurate. It is my favorite feature of this deadbolt as it makes entry into your home even easier than entering a pin. Coming home with a few armloads of groceries? No need to set everything down and enter your pin. Just stick your finger on the sensor, and your immediately have access.
You can also set the door to lock itself after a certain interval of time. It really makes entry, and security a seamless experience.
I would definitely recommend this smart deadbolt to anyone in the market. You will not regret your decision to go with Lockly.

First off I want to say that this is an excellent router. It has the quality, and performance that I have come to expect from Linksys. I have used this for about two months, and the following are my impressions.
Setup through the Linksys app was a breeze. Very easy, and anyone could do it. Once setup was complete I was surprised to see only my network name. No separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks. I believe the mesh WiFi seamlessly switches between whatever network has the best signal strength at the time.
This is a great feature, but also gave me my only hiccup with the product. Some of my smart home devices that will only hook up to a 2.4ghz network didn't want to connect. Fixing this was as easy as going into the app, and checking the box that says I want to display 2.4 and 5ghz networks separately. Since then everything has been rock solid.
I have in fact been VERY impressed with the performance of this router. It can handle as many devices as I can throw at it without a hitch. Streaming TV's, tablets, phones, game consoles, smart home devices, and more all running at once without a hitch in performance whatsoever.
Overall this is a fantastic router, and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for one.

I was looking for a headset to use with my PS4 Pro. I don't game competitively, but I just wanted something to use late at night when everyone was asleep. I decided to give the Turtle Beach - Elite Pro 2 Wired Gaming Headset a try. There are so many headsets to choose from at almost every price point, but I will tell you why I think this is the one to get.
Upon first opening the box I could tell this was going to be great product. The packaging, and the build quality of everything was absolutely top notch. It is also the most comfortable headset I have used by far.
Setup was not too difficult, but required me to run a long optical and USB cable from the PS4 Pro to the SuperAmp. If you are looking for a wire free setup this may not be the right headset for you. Once this was done I was able to download the Turtle Beach Audio Hub App so I could adjust the sound profile, and the chat/volume balance.
Now for the most important part...the sound. Lets just say I was blown away. It wasn't necessarily the volume it provides (although there was plenty of that), but the sound QUALITY. Gaming sounds FANTASTIC through these. All of the smallest details can be heard with a very realistic quality to the sound. All I can say is that I am super impressed.
When I first decided to pick these up I just wanted something for late at night when everyone was asleep. Now I use them almost all the time because of the quality of the sound, and the comfort they provide. If you are in the market for a GREAT gaming headset these absolutely deserve your consideration. Highly recommended.

The Best Microwave I Have Ever Used Hands Down!

As my title states this is easily the best microwave I have ever used. The Panasonic - 2.2 Cu. Ft. Microwave has everything I could ask for out of a microwave, and more.
It has cyclonic inverter technology! What does that mean? I have no idea, but I do know that this microwave cooks my food very evenly. no super hot spots while the rest of your food is luke warm. That right there makes it worthy of a purchase to me, but it has a lot more to offer.
First off it's HUGE. You could fit a full size turkey in there. The sensor cooking actually works! I just throw a few slices of pizza in there, and hit the sensor reheat button and it turns out perfect. It even has a keep warm function so that after your food is done cooking it will keep it at temperature by periodically turning on until the dish is ready to be served. I really can't say enough good things about this microwave.
The size of this microwave is definitely a plus, but if you plan to use it on your counter top make sure you have a lot of space. Check the measurements or try to check it out in person if you can.
