My fight to keep this router online.

I use it in...:Small home
I replaces my small and trusty "slow" Netgear N300 with what i was told would be a great improvement, being it is a duel band router.
It was easy to install and get setup and working. Having to set new passwords in all my computers tablets and phone took most of the time.
Everything looked great for around eight hours, then I would find my systems were dead All computers and tablets using WiFi were not connected. after rebooting router was again good to go for another eight or ten hours, then again i would find my system dead again.
after many many calls to Netgears support i just took the first N900 back to Best Buy and exchanged it for another. Took it home set it up and again set up new passwords in all systems.
And at first all was again good until around eight hours, again after many many new calls to Netgears support, it was again back to Best Buy and exchanged for a new Netgear AC1900 Night Hawk router, took it home set it up set all new passwords and all has been great, no more needing to reboot routers and no more dropped connections.
You may be lucky and never have a problem with your N900 but if you buy one I say good luck.

This is a really cool well fitting backup battery and protection for your Galaxy S3. You'r Galaxy S3 Phone fits tightly in this case. It gives one a good solid feel while holding it. You get a lot more battery without needing the phones small battery, then you can revert to it when really needed. All interface buttons work and you get a good signal.

Really great head phones at a great price. I found them on sale and just thought lets give them a try. I was really surprised at the sound quality, and how well they fit. I liked them so much I went back and bought another set.

Great protection but a Bear to install.

This iPad case give the iPad full heavy duty protection from rain snow and dust&dirt.It's solid in build and has a quality design. It just takes some fighting to get the back installed correctly, but it can be done. All interface control's are in the correct place and work. this case comes with a clear plastic screen protector. and the iPad controls work with your finger. If It was not for the problem getting it installed I would give it 5 stars. But all considered it's great iPad protection.
What's great about it: Solid build all around protection.
What's not so great: It's a bear to get the front plastic cover installed correct.

A really great small keyboard

This small blue tooth keyboard really now makes my Apple iPad2 useful. It sure beats poking the small keys on the iPad screen. I have many other Logitech keyboards and products and they have really worked good the only exception was their solar powered keyboard it was a dud IMHO..
What's great about it: Keys feel really good you can move over 30 feet away and type

I read our local news paper Tech. writer Robert Evatts review of this new Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7" Android tablet, and went to my local Best Buy to check it out. I already own a Kindal Fire and Apple iPad2 but never had tried an Android device. I had found both Amazans Kindal Fire and Apple iPad2 to be somewhat heavy handed in just what they allow one to use on their devices. After doing a little limited playing with the Tab2 not much one can do if you can't get a internet connection and this device Best Buy would not connect to their WiFi. so being a rewards customer and get a good buy and return policy, I just bought it and took it home to give it a go. It was very easy to connect to my WiFi router and after reading the very small and limited Samsung Tab2 manual I just started trying things. after getting Google Chrome for the internet looking I download the Fire Fox mobile device as I use Fire Fox to connect to my Yahoo e-mail account. Yahoo took a lot of my time getting it to except my password, but after many try's and using Google Chrome to log in I again tried Fire Fox and did get Fire Fox to work with Yahoo. I don't blame this on Samsungs Tab2. anyway I don't wish to bore everyone with more details I will say the processor seems fast getting around the Net. is quick and simple. Screen is IMHO very good. I did buy a sandick 16gb Micro memory chip on sale at best Buy for $20 to get more space on the device as it only comes wit 8gb and about 4gb is taken by the operating system. Best Buy does not carry any other tethering cords of chargers for the Samsong T2 but a I finding them online is easy. If you are wanting a really easy to use quality small tablet the Samsong Galaxy Tab2 will your needs. and if not happy within 14 days just return it to Best Buy.
What's great about it: Ease of use with good speed and a quality screen.
What's not so great: Nothing so far.

I had no problem connecting my digital camera, and moving pictures to my iPad2.
When I tried a USB memory card I got the notice that the device drew to much power.
When I tried the SDHC memory card I got nothing, as others have also reported in their reviews of this item.
So off to the Internet in search of answers, at Apple support forum a search quickly found the needed answer. The SDHC card must be camera formatted then the taken with camera can be moved to the iPad.
So I can do some things with this kit, but as of right now I can,t use just any non camera formatted memory cards or my USB memory devices.
Maybe later I will find a way to use them, but I still feel this Apple device is useful.

I bought this product to use on my new Apple Mac Netbook Pro. I feel this is a very good product for any person needing a good photo editor, and not wanting to spend a bunch on or need a full professional program, like the Adobe Photo Shop.
First off if you are installing the program for the Mac. use the third (3) disk not the number one disk. It's in the fine print on the disk and I sure missed it, and it really caused me some problems, happy my friends in the Geek squad at my local Tulsa 71st Street BestBuy, got be back on track to install the program.
Like many install programs it has you doing a lot of typing in your special numbers, this takes a little time and IMHO is a bummer.
When it's finished installing using just the third disk you click finish, and you see no program.
Takes some searching to find it but yes it is installed on your computer,Adobe needs to put a program icon on your desktop like other programs do. Hope Adobe is reading my RANTs.
Now I am no photo expert just do some simple cropping and red eye fixing, a lot of this can be done in Apples simple iPhoto that is included in the Lion Mac operating system.
But having a more powerful program like Adobe Photo Shop Elements, give you more options you may need later.
From my brief use of this program I can say in a word it's WORKS, and I feel it's worth the price. You can opt. for a 30 day trial if you want it, with a money back offer.
So you really can't go wrong getting this program.

Garmin has really put it together with this new Auto GPS,very easy to use and the larger screen is wonderful on older eyes.

Upgrading the maps is the first thing needed,you download the Garmin down loader from Garmin Web site. Then just follow the on screen directions.
This process takes a little time as you download new maps then install them on your GPS, then you have to disconnect the GPS wait a short while then re-connect to Computer. The the new maps are installed. Now there is a software glitch that Garmin knows exists, that you get a message saying and error occurred and to try again.installing again.

This Garmin nuvi 255WT is better GPS then my 370.

My old Garmin nuvi 370 had a smaller display and I did not like how it mounted to the docking device from windshield.
This new Garmin nuvi 255WT has a larger display and it mounts much better on it's docking device to windshield.
The GPS loads maps much faster then my old 370, and because my maps were far out of date on the old 370, it was a better deal to just buy a brand new unit.
It's easy to put address's in the system, and it tracks the streets quickly. it even posts the speed limits on streets your driving.
If you know Garmin you know they sell quality built systems, the 255WT is solid and shows it's quality of build.
The display is sharp with great colors. being larger it's much easer to view.
As it was on sale last week it was great find.
My older nuvi 370 did come with a battery charger that the 255WT does not include, it's now and after market item. But most will use the Auto power cord that is included so you really won't need the battery charger.
Trust me this Garmin is a really nice GPS, you just can't go wrong buying one.

Great mouse at first, works very well, comfortable. After a week or two of use it starts to bug out, as if turning on and off very quickly, causing the pointer to move half an inch at a time across the screen, or simply not at all. The left mouse button stops working now and then. I've had two of these so I know I didn't just get a faulty mouse. They both had the same problems. Buy this mouse if you're into frustration.

If I had not thrown the box away I would have returned this printer within a week. It is unreliable, slow and has a terrible interface for scanning to Dropbox/cloud drives. To scan to the cloud you have to go through a menu, which is very slow, for every document you scan. The printer rarely printed anything we sent to it and was off the network most of the time (maybe it was a location issue, maybe not, but our Epson worked fine in the exact location). I think the unreliable nature explains why the price was only $99.

Garmin has done a really great job of Designing and Engineering, a small dashcam video recorder. all that is needed is a Micro SD Memory card, i recommend the ScanDisk 64gb Extreme Plus.
Setup is menu driven and is quick and simple, recorder starts when you start your vehicle, and keeps recording until you turn off your vehicle.
You need to transfer files from dashcam to a compter, if it runs out of memory space it over writes older files, also it records in many small files as to the time recorded. This way if you know the time something happens, you can find just that video file.
The videos can be in HD 1080 or a lower resolution to save memory card space if needed. Videos in 1080 are very sharp and clear, even in lower lighting conditions.
Unit comes with a stick on mount but i recommend buying one of Garmins suction type mounts as used on their mapping GPSs. this will sure make installing and removing a lot simpler then their adhesive type mount that is included.
Unit comes with a plug in car cord and a small USB to dashcam cord.
A small quick start manual is included, but you can download a full manual from garmin support, the address is in the quick start manual.

How is this unit powered?
When you turn on your vehicle the Garmin Dach Can stars starts recording and stops when you turn off the vehicle.
also when you connect to a computer it will ask on small screen to turn on, and will connect to the computer and be powered by it.
I think there is also a small battery inside the Dash Cam, and powers it when system loses power.

Adhesive mount is a deal breaker for me for several good reasons. Can I get a suction cup mount like the Garmin 20 had?
Yes Garmin has suction types mounts they use on their mapping GPSs, i just took one from another Garmin GPS i had and the ball fit the dasgcam just fine.
I bought an extra one from Best Buy a few years ago so i know you can get one.

Which netbook do you recommend?
I've compared the two Asus options (one $259, the other $349). Is the extra storage worth the $90 difference? Also there is the HP netbook for $319 and I don't see a difference in storage between it and the higher priced Asus. Would this be a better option? My uses will be grad school (internet and word processing) and hooking up to a remote desktop for work.
I bought a Toshiba NB255-250 it did not really need it but I added another Gb of Ram. Netbook works great nice bright screen really good keyboard.

Does this HP Netbook work with 110 Volts - in the Phils. If not does it come with an adaptor ???
My guess is no, but it can be installed if you have a legal copy or can obtain a legal copy to have installed. But I have not myself found a laptop being sold new with the older XP. As the new Microsoft Windows 7 is so much better.
