Prevent dead zones around your home with the help of this Linksys Wi-Fi range extender. It works with all types of Wi-Fi routers, and it uses multi-user MIMO for speed and efficiency. This Linksys Wi-Fi range extender can be used to create a different access point or to extend the field of the router~s connection.

Perfect product
on May 12, 2016

This this is pretty much invisible once set up. I highly recommend this product, especially if paired with a similarly advanced router (MU-MIMO).
Set up is a breeze, you can use WPS or you can connect to its built in Wi-Fi to connect it to a network. There are many options on set up but if you have a similarly matched router, the extended pretty much acts like it doesn't exist. By that I mean there will be no extra SSID listing, it is just completely transparent to the user.
It is somewhat bulky so make sure you have some free space around the outlet as it protrudes a few inches from the wall.
This product will extend your Wi-Fi on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands and supports features of some of the most advanced routers. A must buy if you are looking for a high end extender.

Worth it

I was torn if I should buy this product or the newer version of the Microsoft Band (I had the previous version and loved it). I somehow decided to go with the blaze after seeing it was not as huge as I thought. The product looks much better to me than the Apple Watch in my opinion as its angles are more natural on a wrist.
The interface is somewhat simple and it does very basic smart watch functions, but if you are purchasing a Fitbit product it is likely you are purchasing it for fitness features. For this it is great. You can load it with your most common workouts for tracking purposes. For GPS you need to have your phone with you as it connects to track your stats, but I have my phone with my anyway for music so it is not a huge deal.
The interchangeable bands are nice but they are too pricey if you want anything beyond the basic one. The best feature over other smart watches and more advanced fitness trackers is the five day battery life! This has seemed very accurate to me even with blue-tooth enabled and notifications on.

Your household is busy streaming media, working online, and playing games every day. This Linksys Wi-Fi Router will expand your network coverage, send signals directly to your devices, and deliver a lag-free connection, even when you~re all online at the same time.

Amazing (but pricey) router
on May 11, 2016

I love this thing. It cost's a pretty penny but there is no better router out there. I have zero problems streaming 4K video while others in the house play games and watch Netflix all at the same time. I decided to finally keep my storage attached to the router as well, as the network speeds are fast enough to transmit files with pretty good ease. My main limitation is my internet connection.
I was surprised how large it is though, it takes up a good amount of space on my desk to be warned. My unit I received had a fault which caused random reboots. I called the tech support people and they offered to replace it very quickly on warranty with little to no hassle. Kudos to them.
Setup is extremely easy and this product it SMART. It can automatically update itself (if enabled). The 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks (x2) can all run simultaneously with the same SSID and the router will prioritize various devices, games or services if enabled. It seems you can only prioritize three through so that is a minor gripe as I would love to prioritize all my devices in order of most important to least.
Parental controls are included and you can set this up by individual device connected through the network once you log into the router. There are also very powerful storage management if you have a device connected to one of the USB ports. There are two USB ports, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0. I found this surprising that such a powerful router had a USB 2.0 port, I do not know why they did not put two 3.0 ports on it instead.
Documentation is included on the disk and provides basic information on the router. The indicators on the unit itself are fairly basic and consist of white, blue status bars showing the state of the antennas. There is also a glowing Linksys logo which shows when the device is ready to be used.
Aside from the size of the unit, I really have no gripes about the product other than the fact that it is expensive as earlier stated. But if you have the need for an extremely fast router, make heavy use of your network, want the best connection for gaming, or want to get rid of wires for high speed transfers once and for all, this is the router for you.

Great for the price

7 bucks gets you two cd's full of audio. If there is one big downside, it is that it helped me discover new bands which I felt the need to purchase in their own CD's,
What's great about it: Good cd to discover new bands
What's not so great: Not all songs will appeal to everyone

Game was not tested properly
By skullboy88 from Los Angeles, CA
First of all the reason for such a low rating is that the game is not playable. Right out the box. Now, I have been building pc's for over 10 years and have sunk hundreds of dollars into my rig to play the most demanding games. And I do. The problem is that ID software sent out a game to the public that is not finished. Google, rage graphics problems and you will find a magnitude of arcticles about poor graphics bad drivers and other issues. AMD and Nvidia have been working for a driver patch but reports from many say they do not work to fix the tearing and poor rendering . People are paying $60.00 for a pc game. Dont you think it should work right away without having to wait for a patch?

To be fair, a patch has since been release which fixes many of these PC problems including better support for video cards and settings.

Horrid Sound
By DELienz from Delaware
I had pair of Sony Headphones that I bought a few years ago for approx. $50 dollars... Sounded Amazing, but I recently ran then over with my car... Anyway bought these assuming the sound would be similar and also compensate for my only complaint with my other heardphones which was falling constantly out of my ear during workouts. Turns out these are more expensive but that sound terrible. Tried changing the setting on my IPOD and there is no overcoming the lack of bass. I am a auidiophile and I do listen to music a lot of double bass and drums so bass is something I must have in a headphone. If that's what you looking for don't buy these. I'm confident cheaper headphones with the same quality sound can be obtained so I would not recommend these to anyone...

Balanced Armature
June 28, 2012
Balanced Armature headphones are designed to sound like the original recording. Most headphones these days are "dynamic armature" which are designed kind of like a hardware equilizer where bass is usually most important. Any of these balanced armature headphones are aimed specifically at audiophiles as they repoduce very true to original sound with detailed mid ranges and highs.

Lenovo y500?

Ok so I was really looking forward to buying the lenovo ideapad y500 i5 version for $889.98. It said it was sold out but I wasn't worried, figuring it would be restocked in around a week. However, today I looked and it's been taken off the site. It's a shame because it was an amazing laptop, and I couldn't believe it was taken off. I was also wondering WHY it had been taken off. It seemed to make no sense. I would see if it had bad reviews and problems, but the lenovo had 2 ratings, both 5 star! I was very dissapointed and it looks like I'll have to go to TigerDirect and try to find it. If there's something I might not know, please tell me.
Thanks
Though I could not answer any specifics as the reasoning, I might be able to speculate. I have seen the Y series as very well configured for amazing prices in places. After reading reviews, a common trend mentioned of sub par build quality, most notably the touch pad would sink into the chassis. This would be enough to anger me after purchase. For the price, it might still be well worth it though.
