Well build and outstanding performance

Summary: A great high end and powerful blender that we use every day.
Build / design: This is a large blender, it takes up a decent amount of space on the counter so make sure you either have a permanent spot for it or good storage. This is likely due to the larger motor. It has a good amount of weight so it will not move while using. I liked how the base had suction cups to ensure it does not move when you place it down. The material is high quality plastic and it feels like it will last for a good amount of time without any scuffs. The lid for the container is secure in that it will not work unless you ensure it is properly attached.
The unit comes with a 1.32 oz cup, 1.20 oz travel cup, two to-go lids, one pitcher with integrated blade, one pitcher lid with spout, one easy-twist extractor blade, the motor base, a tamper, warranty card, user guide and a recipe book. The recipe book is very useful
Use: It is simple to use and is similar to most blenders. The touch screen is nice and provides presets such as smoothies, frozen drinks soups, purees and more. The presents have built in timers so they will be consistent when used. There is also a manual mode for more control. In my time with the product it has handled everything thrown at it including ice, peanut butters, frozen fruit with no issue and nothing getting stuck. You could make pretty much anything with this machine.
Cleaning: Disassembly is simple. I have hand washed all the parts but the manual says some parts may go in the dishwasher so I recommend you review that before washing.
Overall, the blender is great. It provides great value for what it can do and it will last many years.

Practical
on March 21, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary:
Overall a very practical device for anyone who could use some simple expansion to their home office setup or travels frequently. There are a few caveats to this unit but overall good for most people.
Pros:
-Compact
-Multiple USB ports
-VGA, Display port and HDMI
-High speed connections
-Ethernet
Cons
-Only one USB-C port
-No Thunderbolt support
-Flimsy build
-Short USB-C cable
Unboxing / setup:
This is a very small section as the unit and simple documentation are in the box. Setup is as simple as plugging it into your USB-C port on your laptop.
Use:
Initial impression was that it is very useful as the size makes it easy to pack and it works with pretty much everything as you will find an HDMI, VGA, Display port, USB-C, Ethernet and two USB-A 3.1 ports on the device. The connector to the PC is clever in that you twist the bottom of the unit and the cable unravels or winds up for storage. The rotation mechanism feels somewhat flimsy but it is unique and useful.
Testing out the ports, I was happy to see that the HDMI is version 2.0 so it supports 4k at 60hz. I found one problem when testing out the USB-C input though. I connected my SSD hard drive to the device using a thunderbolt 3 rated USB-C Cable. The connection to hard drive kept dropping in and out. I verified the cable is good with a direct connection to my PC so it appears if you are connecting anything that supports thunderbolt 3, you might have some issues with your connection. Everything else I connected to the USB-C port had no issues.
I also would have preferred a second USB-C port since if you are using the open USB-C port as a power connector pass through to your laptop, you no longer have a USB-C port available. This might matter to more than others as there are still USB-A 3.1 ports available.
I enjoy this device and it will help immensely during travel but it is probably best for anyone with a lot of older connections and doesn’t own a lot of USB-C devices yet.

Amazing sound quality and style
on March 6, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary:
This product is one of the “wow” products that shocks me how good it is. I only have one single hiccup in the review which once figured out solved all my issues. It works great, sounds amazing and looks cool in any room!
Pros:
• Style
• Sound quality
• Size
• Build quality
• Ease of use
• APT-X support
Cons:
• No included screws
• Requires PCM to work with HDMI (more in review)
Unboxing:
The box is fitted well to the device and includes essentials. The speaker, wooden stand pegs, wall mounting hardware (minus screws), remote with batteries and instructions.
Setup and use:
I first tested it with my phone (Android S21 Ultra so I could test bluetooth APT-X support). After plugging it in, putting batteries in the remote and pairing it with my phone, it was ready to go. I played “A Letter To Ashley” by Your Broken Hero and the Piano sounded crisp with great range across the board conveying all the good Emo vibes. I played with the wide and narrow sound settings which have their use cases. Wide sounds AMAZING for music and movies. Narrow is great for spoken word. Playing some EDM and classical I was impressed by the crispness and ability to fill a room. Vocals were clear, details were pronounced, and bass was above average (not room shaking).
My initial setup was in a computer nook, so it was somewhat far from a wall which is not ideal as most of the bass relies on the rear fired woofers to use the wall to amplify the sound. Even in this setup, it sounded good, just not amazing on the low end.
I then took it upstairs to use with my bedroom TV. I placed it closer to the wall and plugged it in via HDMI ARC. I did not get any sound. To see if the issue was the cable, I swapped it out to no avail. I then tried to use an optical cable with the same results. After digging into my TV settings, I changed “compressed audio” to “PCM” and it worked. So if you are expecting any compressed formats, Dolby, DTS or any other formats, you might have some issues depending on your TV. PCM worked great though so I switched back to HDMI and all was well.
Playing some movies on Netflix was outstanding as well. Action movies had wide stereo with room filling sound. Documentaries were better in the narrow mode with more emphasis on voice.
I have yet to wall mount the device on the wall as I need to get some anchors to better support the device as it weighs 8 lbs and I am in a rental unit, but you can mount it two ways; with a large nail hanging directly to the back of the unit or with the included leather straps which work with a smaller nail and looks very classy. For now, I am using the wooden pegs in the base of the unit which also look nice and are easily removable.
Documentation:
The device comes with a quick start guide which is mostly pictures of what needs to be done. If you lose it it can also be downloaded at their website. The guide better explains what each input symbol means as they use symbols more than words on the unit to label connections. The remote is clearly explained as well. Of most value is the mounting instructions which tells you what size scores you should use and how much clearance you would need for each option. It also explains options for routing cables if using wall mounted to better hide the cable.
It is overall a useful quick set-up guide but nothing extraordinary. I would like to see a specifications page as well so I could better understand the product upon opening.

Great and effective!
on March 6, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary:
These foam ear tips solve a problem in a very practical way. I’ll start with the issue. AirPods Pro fit me great when I first purchased them. Over time, the rubber ear tips lost their shape and did not hold too well in my ear. Small was too small, medium lost its shape and large was too large. The headphones still worked but I couldn’t get a proper seal any more.
So, what these solve… they consist of foam which expands into your ear canal and makes a perfect seal. There is texture in the foam to ensure it has a snug hold and does not fall out. It works great and they come in a three pack!
Unboxing:
Very plain and straightforward here. It is just a cardboard box with three sets of tips in them.
Setup:
Squeeze the old ear tips on your Airpods Pro to remove and install the new ones.
Use:
These create a better seal than the factory default ones, so sound isolation will be even better. This also includes transparency mode which still works well but is slightly more muted than before. It is hard to comment too much on audio quality as it does not fundamentally change the workings of the AirPods but it is still overall good. Base is a little more punchy due to the increased pressure in the ear with a better seal.
Working out is much better now as the foam tips keep them in your ear much better than the original ones. It is almost impossible to shake them out of my head.
I am curious how their durability is since they are a different material, but time will tell. If they fail, they are easily replaceable and come in a three pack so there are plenty of ready spares.
Comfort:
They feel very good once they are in your ear. When you first place them in your ear it is a little hard as you should squeeze them a bit to compress them as they quickly expand in your ear. Once the seal is made it is extremely comfortable.

Great for home or travel
on March 5, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary:
In my few days with this it appears to be a well-rounded toothbrush. It is not amazing for cleaning, but it is better than a manual toothbrush. It is also easy to use with great battery life. It is outstanding for home use or for travel and is a great purchase.
Pros:
- Portable
- Convenient
- Stylish
- Easy to use
- Long battery life (30 days)
- USB-C Rechargeable
Cons:
- Case is annoying
- Vibrations feel weak
Unboxing:
The box contains the toothbrush, a USB-A to USB-C cable and surprisingly, a lot of documentation for something so small.
Set up:
Pretty much none needed, peel off the bottom cover and charge with the USB-C cable. Install the brush on the base and get to brushing!
Use:
I used it for two days so far. My first impression is it looks cool and is easy to use with brushes that are quick and simple to change out. The brushes are expected to last three months or so like a normal toothbrush while the battery is expected to last 30 days. The light indicates pulses and changes color to amber when your battery runs low, so I recommend reviewing the instructions to know the meaning of the indicators.
Brushing is mostly like a regular toothbrush, but it adds a vibration for additional cleaning. The vibration feels somewhat weak so I am not fully sure how effective it is, but it cannot be worse than not having it. The brush will pulse in 30 second intervals to tell you when to change quadrants of your mouth. At the end of the two minutes, it will pulse three times to tell you it is done.
The back of the toothbrush has two little prongs (pictured) that will elevate the brush head when put on a counter so it doesn't have to touch the surface, a nice little detail.
The carrying case is great for travel as it mainly covers the top half of the toothbrush and feels secure. It has a rubbery plastic feel. Where I was annoyed is that the brush is kind of hard to get out of the case. It fits in there a little too well and there is nothing to get leverage on to pry it out when using. I got used to kind of prying it out from the bottom tip, but I have not found an easy way to get it out of the case each use. It is a minor gripe but worth noting since it is a review.

Amazing machine in compact size!
on February 17, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary:
This laptop is outstanding! All the things that matter to me are present. There are a few shortcuts take but they are easily forgivable. Read below for a detailed review.
Pros:
- Fast!
- Good looking
- Decent speakers
- AMAZING keyboard
- Color accurate screen
- Long battery life
- Upgradable
- Compact
Cons:
- Loud fans
- Plastic trackpad
- Plastic build
- Fingerprint magnet
- No camera or fingerprint reader
- Only 1 USB-C port
Unboxing:
The box does not have much inside. You will find the laptop nicely packed, the power adaptor (200W), power cord and that is pretty much it. There is a lot of wasted space in the packaging, but it does keep the laptop safe if you ship it.
Build quality:
Upon first inspection, I was surprised by how compact it is. It is heftier than an Ultrabook but not too much thicker. The screen has minimal bezels. The screen feels sturdy when bent with minor flex. The “gamer” aesthetic is minimal as well, I would not feel strange using this in a coffee shop to get some work done. The body is mostly plastic build but feels high quality on the top keyboard section. There is minimal flex when pushing on the keyboard hard. The bottom of the laptop is secured with small Philips head screws and does feel very plasticky. The trackpad is plastic but feels nice and is a usable size.
Setup:
Setup is simple with your usual Windows 10 setup process. The only bloatware preinstalled is the MyAsus software to better connect your laptop to your phone, Armoury Crate software for power and lighting settings, and that is pretty much it other than the standard software that comes with windows.
First impressions:
The keyboard looks cool! It is only a single color, something of cyan color. The boot times are extremely quick! Only a few seconds long. I was a bit sad there is no fingerprint sensor, but a simple PIN is not too hard to use to login. The screen is only 1080p, but it is noticeably clear and bright with accurate colors and viewing angles. I tried some music with the 2.5w speakers and was surprised that the bottom-firing speakers put out clean and loud audio. It is lacking in clarity and bass but is not bad at all.
Benchmarks:
I attached a few screenshots of benchmarks but overall, this laptop impresses! The 3070 is an 80w version so it is not going to be top-tier performance, but it is not bad by any measure.
-Playing Borderlands 3, I consistently saw 80-100 FPS in Ultra settings at 1080P.
-The built-in hard drive provides 3468 MB/s read speed and 2906 MB/s write speed in Crystalbenchmark.
-Geekbench 5 was run in the three different power modes: Turbo, Performance, and Silent. I assumed turbo would provide the best performance as it puts all parts into high power and the fan to max. I was surprised to see that performance mode provided the best scores. I am curious if there is some thermal throttling going on. So, for all benchmarks after I kept the laptop in performance mode.
-3D Mark: 7259 in Time spy, 9570 in Fire strike Extreme, 40624 in Wildlife, and 29311 in Night Raid.
-Cinebench: 6425 pts in multi-core, 1486 single-core
Battery:
WOW! For a gaming laptop battery life is phenomenal. Ensure you keep your laptop on auto in “iGPU” mode within the Armoury crate app to get the best battery performance. This will properly utilize the Xe graphics card when on battery. I do not recommend gaming on battery but the Xe is good for simple games if you wish. Depending on what I am doing I could easily get 4-8 hours of battery life on this beast. This is assuming you do not have any apps which require the video card in the background. For example, running the Epic Game store in minimized mode or in your tray will keep the 3070 running and give you 1-2 hours only.
Gaming:
As previously mentioned, it worked like a champ in Borderlands 3 hovering around 80-100 FPS. COD MW with RTX on 1080p would be upwards of 100 FPS and as low as 70 FPS when the action starts. Overwatch provided me with around 160 FPS average. In short, gaming is amazing! The fan gets loud when gaming, so I highly recommend you use a headset and keep a clear area around the sides of the laptop due to heat. The keyboard is a dream for gaming as the WSAD keys are brightly colored and the keys just feel right.
Upgradability:
Opening the device is simple. Take off the screws, one of the corner screws is a captive screw that pops the shell out slightly to assist with the removal of the cover. I recommend you take a plastic tool to pry the rest of the edges which comes off with ease. Photos attached of the interior. There are two NVME hard drive slots PCI Express 3, one is open. The RAM is 16GB with 8GB soldered on and 8GB installed. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading the RAM since it might affect the dual-channel setup, but you can expand if you wish.
Other stuff:
I plan to also use this laptop for photography and typing as the screen is top-notch with color accuracy RGB. Using some P3 color images there is some additional color, but I am not fully sure what percentage of that color gamut it covers. The keyboard is perfect for typing and you should net some high accuracy. Power can be provided by the included 200W power supply or you can use up to a 100W USB-C adaptor if you wish, this might not fully power your laptop in games though. The plastic on the palm rests is a fingerprint/grease magnet so I recommend having a microfiber cloth nearby.
This laptop is outstanding and worth the buy. The only complaints I really have are I wish there were some sort of Windows Hello integration as well as an additional USB-C port. Other than that, this thing is gold!

Good all around with no fluff
on January 31, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary: The software is to the point. I don’t have anything amazing to say about it or anything really bad. It gets the job done and will suit most people’s needs.
Pros:
-Easy to use
-No bugs
-Supports most tax needs for the level you purchase (read the feature set first)
-Small computer footprint
Cons:
-Nothing fancy
-High DPI screens look blurry (not optimized)
-Updates are far spaced
-Not easy to upgrade if tax needs change
Installation:
The software is your standard Windows install. Nothing special to speak of other than it is quick and painless. Upon startup you will set up your profile and activate your product (used a digital code for this install). After install the software takes up 127 MB.
Use:
Most items are straightforward. I input a few forms, typed in the forms and got a calculation for e-file. The only gripes I had were that software only appears to be scheduled to update once a month or so. It is nice it has a timeframe of when to expect an update but if you need something added quickly, don’t keep your fingers crossed. Next, I was using the software on a 4K monitor, the text appeared blurry and stretched. In short it is not optimized for high DPI screens. If your monitor is 1080P you should have no issues.
I recommend you look closely at what your specific tax needs are. Did you buy a home? Did you sell stocks? If you are planning on purchasing this software, choose the correct version since different tiers support different tax needs. I did not see an easy way to upgrade if needed assuming my tax needs differed from what the product offered but I might have missed the option.
Overall, the software is good and to the point. If you work offline a lot the software might be a good bet for you, especially if you worked with H&R Block in the past for importing. The software is stable and I never experienced any bugs or crashes.

Outstanding performance and looks!
on January 13, 2021
Posted by: psyclopps
from San Diego, CO
Summary:
I am extremely impressed with this unit. It took some figuring out to discover each of the acronyms and features, but once it is set up, let it do it’s thing and enjoy cleaner air inside large rooms! This filter is one of the best products I have had a chance to review for my house.
Pros:
Looks cool
Works great
Large air filtering capacity
Smart features integrated
Minimal maintenance
Child lock feature
Alexa integration
Filter subscription service adds value
Cons:
Ongoing filter purchases required
Size of unit
Unboxing / setup:
The unit is large, therefore, the box is large. There is not much inside the box other than the unit, instructions and lots of padding.
Setup is rather easy but I do recommend you skim over the instructions first. The power cable is wound up underneath the unit for storage when not in use or for extra slack. You also have to open the filter to remove the covering prior to use. The device will work right away outside of the box but it is recommended you set it up in the phone app to ensure full functionality and smart features. The app also offered Alexa integration for voice features.
Use:
Scrolling around the various menus, I had no clue what the different acronyms stood for. After diving into the manual, the status shows gas levels, temperature, humidity, and various sizes of particulate matter. There are capacitive buttons on the front for controls but once you set it up for auto and set up the WiFi in your app, you likely will not touch it again for a long time. You can set up a child lock so the buttons are disabled while in use. There are two glowing lights on the front of the top to show at a glance and from a distance your current particulate levels and gas levels in your house. Blue is the best with green being good. Any other color should require your attention.
The device uses “Germ Shield” tech which filters and kills viruses and bacteria in the air as they go through the filter. The site explains it has not been tested against COVID-19 but it is worth noting.
After the first use, the fan went hard for an hour or so while it did it’s best to clean the air in my house. Both levels went from green to blue after that time and I never heard it again after a few days as it only had to monitor and up the fan speeds as needed. It is extremely quiet! The unit filters 674 sq ft of space so it is good for large rooms or maybe a floor of the house .
The app allows for more detailed stats on your house air quality and also allows for local information to display the AQI in your area. Most important, the app and display will show you a current filter status so you know when it needs cleaning or replacing. The only maintenance needed is to wipe down and vacuum the coarse filters periodically, the fine filters will require replacement every six months or so.
I was surprised by the warranty as it is one of the best I have seen. The standard warranty is one year. If you register within 60 days it expands to 5 years. If you subscribe to their filter subscription service which orders new filters automatically (using RFID in the filter) when yours becomes dirty, you will receive an ongoing warranty so long as you continue to subscribe. As of time of writing, the subscription doesn't yet support this model and these filters but says "coming soon". The filters are pricey but worth it for clean air. If you subscribe, the filters will be 15% less when needed.
Overall, this is an outstanding unit and great for ensuring some cleaner air in your house. It will also be a conversation starter with it's cool futuristic looks. Kids love it for some reason.

Good audio but not ideal for most uses

Summary:
This has been a hard review. I started off optimistic but quickly disliked the product. After a few days of use my opinion has grown a little but it overall feels like a first-generation product designed for a specific audience. They are not bad headphones by any means, but they are Spartan, missing a few features that have become standard and somewhat uncomfortable. Sound quality is overall good and battery life is outstanding. Here is my detailed review.
Pros:
- Long battery life
- Good sound quality
- Case is flattish and pocketable
- Attention getter
Cons:
- Somewhat ugly
- Uncomfortable
- Case does not charge
- Can only use with both headphone (unable to use just one)
- Charging dog is proprietary and large
Unboxing:
The unit comes in a small box which houses what seems like a silicon case, the proprietary charge (via USB A), the headphones and a documentation.
Setup:
Setup is done via the Bose Music app. It is painless requiring you to press a button on both units then pairing them to the phone. An initial firmware update happens in the background but takes an extremely long time. I suggest letting it download in the background while on a long walk or run as you can still listen to audio while it transfers from the phone to the headphones. The setup will provide a tutorial with proper wear and use.
First use / audio quality:
When I first donned these headphones, the easiest way to say it is that it all just felt wrong. I do not mean this in a bad way but being used to over the ear headphones or earbuds, this is something new with the headphones resting on the top part of your ear (pictured) and the large loops on the backside of the ear. It feels loose but is actually quite secure and just feels like it is in the wrong place. In short, it takes some getting used to as for the first two days I did not like it. By day three I did not care so much. Initial sound quality was overall good but is lacking in bass. Mids and highs are clear and punchy with that signature Bose sound. Being open ear headphones, others can hear what you are listening to, but they are highly directional and most of the audio goes to the wearer. If you end up wearing these in a group setting, I highly suggest you do not listen to anything that might offend others. There is no EQ feature in the app if the audio is not to your liking.
Working out / everyday use:
I first wore them to do some calisthenics and a three-mile walk / jog. As previously mentioned, they did not feel comfortable at first. Aside from the odd placement, it appears as if the batteries are held inside the loops as they are quite large. The loops are the most uncomfortable part of the headphones. They are hard plastic and bulky which presses on the back of your ears. It did not go on securely while wearing a cloth face mask so that can be an issue for some. I found if I put on the face mask after putting on the headphones, I could keep it all secure. Keep in mind you might have different results as all ears are differently shaped.
When going for a run, the headphones stayed on securely and this is where they started to shine. You can hear the traffic and other people around you just fine without having to stop the music (unless it is at max volume). After a while one can forget they are on your ears and the open sound is welcoming. I had a conversation with a few people on walks and runs, and they thought I was wearing it wrong due to the nature of the headphones. Their appearance will start a conversation, but you might look a little odd to others if they do not know how they work.
Biking was outstanding with these headphones as they fit well with my helmet and I could easily hear traffic. This is likely to be the best use case for most. I did not get to test them in the gym as most are closed in my area but I can see the use so you can hear those around you.
HIIT sessions went without an issue and the headphones never fell off no matter how much I jumped or whichever angle my head was at. If you do any at home workouts, these headphones are nice as you can hear the kids if they need anything while you are working out.
Battery life:
Battery life is around eight hours which is outstanding. The case does not charge the headphones so eight hours should last through any workout and multi workout sessions, but you will need to return to the docking station each day to top them off. The docking station is huge and will become a fixture on your desk if you use these headphones. Do not lose it as it will render the headphones useless without them. The charger is not very portable if you travel and I would like to have seen it in a more travel friendly form.
Connectivity:
I used these with an iPhone 12 Pro and a Samsung Tab S7 to test iOS and Android. It seamlessly connected on both and I noticed it usually connected via AAC on both devices. It should support SBC codec, but I never saw it in that mode when I checked. While downloading the firmware update, I noticed a lot of audio stutters during my workout which became annoying as the update took more than 30 minutes.
A large annoyance I had with these headphones is they are pretty much required to be used in pairs as far as I can tell. If you intend to use a single headphone on one ear, that is not an option as both will connect. As far as I can tell, there is no proximity sensor to tell the headphones when you take it off your ear to pause the music or shut off any individual headphone. The only ways to shut them off are to press the power button which turns them both off or place it on the charging dock. The case does not provide any signal to shut off a unit as it is simple a case with not charging or connectivity.
End results:
These headphones seem to be designed for a very specific use case, outdoor workouts. For any other use I just could not recommend them and would suggest you have another set of headphones for any other situations. They are not bad overall but feel somewhat half baked, I enjoy the audio quality and the open-air design, but I did not enjoy the comfort, lack of what should be essential features and the charging options available. I would only recommend this product to runners and bikers. I would imagine a second-generation version of this product might fix many of these issues.

Great for specialized cleaning
on December 16, 2020

Summary:
An overall great product if you have any cleaning needs in odd spaces such as couches, beds, stairs and more!
Pros:
Great for small jobs anywhere
Cool design
Easy to use
Good number of attachments
Wireless
Easy to clean
Cons:
A bottle of solution runs out quickly
Relatively short battery life
Unboxing:
The unit has very little assembly. In short, you will install the solution basin, the dirty water container, battery and any attachments you wish to use on the brush. Charging takes a fews hours for a full charge but this is a non issue for most people as they will not use it continuously.
Use:
I used it on some old pet stains on a mattress. I previously tried removing them with a more traditional cleaner but it ended up causing issues on the fabric. When trying the Bissell pet stain eraser, I was very impressed with how gentle it was on the fabric. Even more impressive is that you do not need to fumble with any water / solution mixtures. Simply put in a bottle of solution and you are gtg for your job. I found a single bottle is good for a single job give or take so I recommend being a bit stingy with the trigger so as not to waste solution.
Cleaning was very easy with all parts easy to remove and the instructions make it clear which parts you should run water through when you finish a job.
It is a great addition to any cleaning products you might own. I would not rely on it as my only carpet cleaning option though as one might go through the solution too quickly and it is only good for small areas. If you have special spots you needs to address that other equipment can not reach, this is for you.

Game was not tested properly
By skullboy88 from Los Angeles, CA
First of all the reason for such a low rating is that the game is not playable. Right out the box. Now, I have been building pc's for over 10 years and have sunk hundreds of dollars into my rig to play the most demanding games. And I do. The problem is that ID software sent out a game to the public that is not finished. Google, rage graphics problems and you will find a magnitude of arcticles about poor graphics bad drivers and other issues. AMD and Nvidia have been working for a driver patch but reports from many say they do not work to fix the tearing and poor rendering . People are paying $60.00 for a pc game. Dont you think it should work right away without having to wait for a patch?

To be fair, a patch has since been release which fixes many of these PC problems including better support for video cards and settings.

Horrid Sound
By DELienz from Delaware
I had pair of Sony Headphones that I bought a few years ago for approx. $50 dollars... Sounded Amazing, but I recently ran then over with my car... Anyway bought these assuming the sound would be similar and also compensate for my only complaint with my other heardphones which was falling constantly out of my ear during workouts. Turns out these are more expensive but that sound terrible. Tried changing the setting on my IPOD and there is no overcoming the lack of bass. I am a auidiophile and I do listen to music a lot of double bass and drums so bass is something I must have in a headphone. If that's what you looking for don't buy these. I'm confident cheaper headphones with the same quality sound can be obtained so I would not recommend these to anyone...

Balanced Armature
June 28, 2012
Balanced Armature headphones are designed to sound like the original recording. Most headphones these days are "dynamic armature" which are designed kind of like a hardware equilizer where bass is usually most important. Any of these balanced armature headphones are aimed specifically at audiophiles as they repoduce very true to original sound with detailed mid ranges and highs.

Capture up to 1440p video with this Nextbase 522GW dash camera. Alexa enables hands-free control through voice commands, and Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi technologies sync with compatible smartphones for quick access to important footage. This Nextbase 522GW dash camera has ports for connecting compatible camera modules for easy expansion.

How does Alexa give you directions to your desired destination? Do they show up on the screen, or is this Alexa feature not available on this dash cam?

Alexa is present but it does not integrate into any build in GPS as far as I can tell. There are other devices such as the Garmin speak which combines a dash cam with Garmin + Alexa navigation via a skill but there is no screen on that device.

Garmin Speak™ Plus with Amazon Alexa is what you love about Amazon Alexa, now in your vehicle. Use voice control for hands-free access to music, news, navigation and more. Plus, a built-in dash cam gives you forward collision and lane departure warnings.

Can you please tell me more about the dash cam. Can it be controlled by voice or a remote button? Where does it store the videos and how can I get them? Through wifi or only sd card?

It is simply always recording. There is a separate app you must download if you want to view on your phone. It will connect to your phone via wi-fi but you can take out the Micro SD card if you want to plug the videos in to your computer. There is an overlay option which tells the drivers speed and a little more info as well. It also records in car audio.

If maps stay up to date , is the system using my data plan ? Garmin & TomTom use satellites , what does this system use ? Does this system in any way use my data plan and if so , how ?

I did a trip to a national park using this device. It appears there are no downloaded maps as the moment I lost my data connection the device didn't know what to do. It seems it is always using your data plan as long as you are using pretty much any of its features other than dashcam.

With all these features, Does it scan the road and next to the road for objects such as DEER ? If so will it alert you ?

From my experience, no. There is only lane detection warning and collision detection warning as added safety features.

Is there any way to do talk to text in tablet mode? Or make the keyboard swype at least?

There is no dictation function but there is a few keyboard settings that could help. You could configure the touch keyboard in split layout so you can use only your thumbs on each side of the screen to type. It takes a little practice but is useable when you get used to it. There is a also a "Scribble" mode where you can write on the screen and it will turn it into text.
