Bitdefender’s Box 2 provides a unique combination of both hardware and software based antivirus, malware, and other protection for a homes wireless network. Accordingly, the Box 2 provides blocking of malicious/unsafe URLs, evaluations of network vulnerabilities, their proprietary “Total Security” cyber security suite, as well as exploit and anomoly detection. Along with the security features, the Box 2 also provides parental controls including screen time management, device management, and network controls.
All of these features are contained within a relatively small “footprint” given the physical size of the Box 2. Aesthetically, the Box 2 has an appealing modern design and therefore does not need to be hidden.
Overall the Box 2 is fully capable of providing an entire home network, given the ability to connect unlimited devices, with comprehensive antivirus and cyber security protection. Just keep in mind that after one year of complimentary subscription, both BOX Service and Total Security 2018 Unlimited subscriptions will need to be renewed.

Phenomenal Sound and Clarity

Having read reviews of Sennheiser audio products before, I was well aware of Sennheiser's reputation for outstanding audio and music reproduction. These HD1s, for me, lived up to this reputation. The HD1's sound is perfectly balanced. Bass is accurately reproduced and strong but not overpowering. As a result the HD1's have amazing clarity while faithfully reproducing mids and highs beautifully.
Aesthetically the HD1s are beautiful to behold. The aluminum and leather construction provide a more modern and sleek aesthetic. Additionally the earpieces fold in order to provide a more compact traveling form. Over extended periods of listening sessions the HD1s remained very comfortable to wear. Volume, power, and pairing controls are simply to use; a welcome departure from some of the complex control schemes of other headphones. One of the small features I like the most, ironically, is that a computerized voice informs you when power is turned off and on and when the headphones are pairing and paired.
The HD1s are remarkably well balanced, have proper bass reproduction, and have a streamlined modern form that I love. The controls are perfect for me and the long battery life is exceptional.

Accomplish tasks efficiently with this HP desktop computer. Its Intel Core i7 processor supplies plenty of power for video editing and gaming, and the 16GB of RAM lets you run multiple programs at the same time without performance lag. This HP desktop computer has a large 1TB hard drive for storing files and the Intel Optane Memory is a smart system accelerator that adapts to your everyday computing activities.

Powerful PC with Stunning Aesthetics

It having been several years since I last owned a dedicated Windows desktop computer, my expectations were mixed. How would the operating system, Windows 10, function and how much have desktop processors, RAM, memory, and stability improved over time?
The HP Envy 750-624 is one of the models in the larger 750-xxx line. To differentiate, the 750-624 features a 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor, 16 GB memory, 1 TB HDD storage, and Intel® HD Graphics 630. The aesthetics of the 750-624 are very impressive. Long gone, thankfully, are the grey plastic HP cases of old. The brushed metal finish of the 750-624 is aesthetically pleasing; stunning even. This tower, with its modern/contemporary appeal, can easily be left out in the open instead of being hidden or tucked away.
Overall processing performance was exceptional. Video and music play back was flawless. Multi simultaneous program usage proved no problem for the 750-624. This was in large part due to its combination of DDR4-2133 SDRAM, Intel Core i7 processor, and Intel® Optane™ Memory. Everything I threw at the 750-624 it handled with ease. Most importantly, perhaps, it did so with no software glitches, freezes, and/or odd behavior(s).
Overall, the HP 759-624 has proven to be a highly capable, dependable, and aesthetically pleasing addition to my home office. It appears that the days of the clunky plastic towers and glitchy operating system software have thankfully been left in the past. Along with the tower you receive a wireless keyboard and mouse which also functioned perfectly and are sufficient for normal use. Gamers and other niche users would certainly benefit from third party peripherals which cater to their specific needs.

High Quality Sound with Limited Battery Life

Having used these wireless earbuds I have been thoroughly impressed with the sound quality (e.g. dynamic range and clarity) of the Jabras. This was all the more surprising given their relatively small size and price point. Additional features include passive noise cancellation, IP55 water resistance, and Alexa, Siri, and Google Now accessibility. The multiple Ear Gels made it easy to find a quality and quality fit.
My only concern with the Jabras is there 5 hour maximum usage time, before having to recharge. 5 hours is certainly long enough for use during workout routines, but most likely would require daily charging if used more frequently during any given day (s).

Great Portable Printer

Overall, I really enjoyed using this portable printer. Setup was easy and the resulting “prints” were of good quality. Kind of brings back the novelty of the instant Polaroid cameras of the past but with the convenience of being able to print wirelessly. As far as the potential users? Perhaps if you have older relatives who are not electronically connected, people who still scrapbook, children who take pictures and want to do art projects/collages, etc. With a myriad of high quality desktop photo printers, the main distinguishing features are its size and portability. Accordingly the retail price may be a little high given its niche appeal.

Exemplerary Pair of Wireless Headphones

Having limited experience with Bowers & Wilkins, I was familiar with their reputation for high quality products. The PXs are indeed impressive both from a build quality and aesthetic perspective. Typically I don’t care for gold electronics, but the “soft gold” of these PXs is elegant; not gaudy/flashy. Even after extended wear these headphones remained comfortable with minimal pressure upon the ears.
Overall, the sound quality of the PXs was well balanced. The bass is well represented but not overpowering. Classical music, Lorde, and selections from my digital music library were faithfully reproduced. A unique feature of the PXs is their incorporation of angled drivers and magnetic ear pads. The angled drivers purportedly direct sound more efficiently to the ear. Removable/replaceable earbuds would allow for replacements to be used due to heavy usage.
While I did not push these to the absolute 22 hour max, I used these over the period of several days with no battery life issues. The included quilted carrying case is a nice touch, with the included cable allowing for wired listening if needed.

Capable projector in a small compact size

Given this projectors relatively small size, the picture quality of this projector is impressive. The 1070A does not produce 4K or 3d but nice high quality 1080p which covers 96% of spectrum. The lumen brightness and contrast ratio help to produce crisp images and video playback. One note is that the keystone adjustments available are only vertical, so the horizontal positioning of the projected image has to be done by manipulating the position of the physical projector.
Given the 1070A’s compact size I have this setup in my bedroom utilizing a streaming media box via HDMI. The speakers of the projector are lacking, so I utilize the headphone jack on the streaming media box remote for audio. This setup makes the BenQ a fully independent media device (e.g. no receiver, speakers, etc.).

Superb Bluetooth Speaker with Quality Sound

Being in need of a relatively small Bluetooth speaker for casual use in my living room, I was looking forward to receiving the Blast. First thing to mention is the exceptional and artistic packaging; beautiful. Setup was quick and easy using the Ultimate Ears app. You first use the app to connect the Blast to the internet for update purposes, sign in to Amazon for Alexa, and ultimately to finalize the Bluetooth connection.
Sound reproduction was of high quality with voice/vocal reproduction being exceptionally and crisp. Mids and highs were well balanced and accurate. The low end bass was present but a little weak in my opinion. However, for a speaker of this size this to be expected. In addition to the noteworthy voice, mids, and highs the Blast is able to play at a high volume without creating large amounts of distortion.
Overall, the Blast is a well built high quality Bluetooth speaker that is easy to setup, connect to, and enjoy. The only small quirk becomes apparent when you charge the Blast; the charging cable plugs into the Blast’s bottom vertically. This prevents the Blast from remaining upright during charging.

Excellent “Smart” Robot Vacuum

After having used the Shark ION 750 for cleaning both hard and carpeted surfaces, I am thoroughly impressed with its ability to clean/vacuum hard surfaces like tile and linoleum as well as vacuuming pile carpet. The ION 750 was able to navigate around dining table legs, bed frame castered legs, and more while continuing to vacuum around them. Impressive!
Setup was easy via the Shark app. You can use the Shark app to check the current status of the vacuum or direct the ION 750 to clean, pause, return to base station, or spot clean (e.g. vacuum will vacuum in a tight circle). You can even use the app to schedule an auto start cleaning.
Only very minor assembly, attaching two brush heads to the bottom of the vacuum, is required. Included is 9 feet of botboundary which serves as a temporary boundary for defining the vacuum space. Ultimately, more length of botboundary would have been nice given the dimensions of my living space, but additional botboundary can be purchased.
Overall this is an amazing robot vacuum with great features, long battery life, superb cleaning capabilities, and “smart” cleaning abilities.

Powerful Portable Bluetooth Speaker & Bass Punch

Having used portable Bluetooth speakers in the past, the XB60 pushes the envelope as far as powerful music playback, wireless capability, app support, and features. This is certainly not your typical Bluetooth speaker; a very good thing.
Music playback was easy to accomplish in large part to the XB60’s numerous wireless features: NFC, LDAC, etc. In fact you can connect multiple devices via Bluetooth simultaneously in order to allow different people to seemlessly use the XB60. Connecting to the XB60 was seamless with no connection losses occurring. Music playback sounded very good with the XB60 reproducing a surprisingly balanced presentation. Given its size, the XB60 packs two tweeters and two woofers into its chassis which provided powerful music reproduction. The “Extra Bass” button certainly provided that extra bass punch.
App support was commendable and very useful. Both Sony Music Center and Fiestable allowed for manual adjustments to sound and visual characteristics. The Sony Music Center allowed for EQ and other sound related adjustments while Fiestable allowed for party flash, customer speaker colors, and other visual adjustments. Both apps were highly effective with the Fiestable being addictively fun to play with.
While I did not intentionally test the battery life to failure, I used my XB60 for over 8 hours, at moderate volume with occasional use of the lighting features, and experienced no issues with battery life. Ultimately battery life will depend on the playback volume level and the extent to which you utilize the lighting and “DJ” effects.
The feature of the XB60 I found intriguing, as well, is the ability to add an additional XB60 or numerous additional XB60s via the “party chain” feature. This is an amazing feature which would allow for creating a stereo or multi speaker setup. Now I just have to buy another XB60 and have a killer portable stereo experience.
Overall the XB60 is simply amazing: powerful playback, wireless connectivity, audio and visual features, “party chain” capability, etc. The XB60 in my opinion represents the best portable Bluetooth speaker option currently available, perhaps aside from its bigger brother the XB90, and offers all the features, sound quality, one could ask for. The lighting and “DJ” features add additional entertainment value as well.
