"SETLIST-THE VERY BEST OF ELVIS PRESLEY LIVE" IS AN UNDENIABLY FANTASTIC CONCEPT. THERE WAS JUST ABOUT NOTHING ELVIS LOVED MORE OR DID BETTER THAN PERFORMING TO A LIVE AUDIENCE. CONTAINED ON THIS SINGLE COMPACT DISC ARE OVER A DOZEN OF SOME OF THE BEST HIT SONGS OF "THE KING'S" CAREER, MORE THAN HALF OF WHICH WERE ORIGINALLY DONE AS STUDIO RECORDINGS, IN THE FORM OF CONCERT VERSIONS, SPANNING THE YEARS OF 1969-73. WHAT ELSE CAN BE SAID OTHER THAN THIS IS SO ENJOYABLE THAT THE LISTENER IS LEFT WISHING THERE WERE EVEN MORE SONG TRACKS HERE.

HERE ARE SOME ESSENTIAL ELVIS RECORDINGS

"The Essential Elvis" captures, on only a two-compact disc set, a brief taste of this true American idol's most popular songs, showcasing his capabilities to cover various, diversified types of music in his very own style, spanning two decades of his career. From his mid-1950's beginning of Rockabilly numbers, opening the early chapter of the Rock & Roll era, thru some of his 1960's finest studio and movie soundtrack recordings, thru a few songs recorded during the latter portion of his career in the 1970's, both at his peak of live performing and at his final recordings in his home's den, there's just a little bit of all forms of music which this uniquely talented artist covered in his passionate, superb style. You can hear as his vocal range diversifies and improves from youthful and slightly rough covers of "Blue Suede Shoes" to more mature and smooth romantic approaches toward songs as "Can't Help Falling In Love" to the latter and sometimes bordering on nearly operatic material as is revealed on "Hurt". While, again this is merely a small sampling of his many songs, this concisely proves why Elvis Presley was special and will always be famous and adored by countless admirers worldwide. By the way, I also highly recommend the three-cd collection, titled "Artist Of The Century", which similarly offers a rather basic and brief perspective, though provides just a slightly better selection. The best point of this title is for those who may not be all that interested in owning or learning too much regarding this gifted and historically significant musical artist, since it still does indeed manage to offer a bit of insight and pure entertainment at an affordable cost.

TOSHIBA: VERY GOOD LAPTOP BUT NOT ALL GOOD

This "Toshiba" laptop with 15.6" display screen is among the first two I had ever purchased for my personal use, outside of the office atmosphere. There, the principal make is "Apple", and they are not merely considerably more pricey, but they choose to apply approaches in a rather different yet good manner, and I find that many users just love their flat keyboard, as they are comfortable with rapid typing. I, initially, felt good about my choice of two similar "Toshiba" models, not low priced by any means but, loaded with features, a screen with beautifully vivid HD quality, and superb audio for the size, likely owing to built-in "harman/kardon speakers. In many respects, these models may be just a little bit better than needed for my personal use, but I happen to like when something may have something more. For those who place importance on aesthetic appeal, the silver tone and overall appearance is rather handsome. One problem, and, to be fair, it's a negative aspect of nearly all makes and models of laptops; namely, the battery life is roughly half of that which is claimed, even with relatively regular, not ultra-data consuming type work. The issue with this model's battery is becomes that much worse, as it is built-in and cannot be replaced. I believe this, in all fairness, to be entirely unreasonable, since a laptop is supposed to be primarily used for portability. Remarkably, to reinforce this negative aspect is the fact that "Toshiba" does not make or know or even feel they need to consider a sensible accessory; meaning a compatible portable charger. Let's imagine, what if you need to take it to a work assignment or you are travelling, not near an AC outlet, or in the event of a storm or other electric-related outage. This brings us to the most disappointing element of all, and, prior to needing to pose a basic inquiry, I had truly thought any large company, which specializes in a type of product, would be willing to offer some customer care. The representatives of "Toshiba" tech-support behave as if they're starving for every additional $160 or so, which they insist on prior to agreeing to offer some answer to the most basic question. Hesitantly, I did agree to pay the lowest sum that they had insisted upon. Their "level 2 & 3" support gained global remote access to my mouse pointer and, #other than that having been quite interesting to experience#, no actual assistance was derived, and their representatives disregarded my repeated imploring that I could not comprehend their heavy accent if they continually spoke in such a rapid manner. "Toshiba Tech-Support" proved intensely reluctant and entirely time inefficient. After that, I had no choice but to give up on their "paid help", but they've never ceased being insistent on more payments. If I merely browse products on their official website, representatives block my view with a box in which they ask lengthy, mostly irrelevant, terribly unhelpful survey questions, and they persist in doing this for up to an hour or until I shut down my computer. I do believe relaying these details is appropriate to my review of my general experience having had purchased "Toshiba" laptops.

VZW NETWORK SALES AGENTS, AND THEIR SUPERVISORS, WERE NEEDLESSLY OBSTINATE AND ARROGANT IN FULLY ACTIVITATING THIS SERVICE. THIS IS TRUE, EVEN THOUGH MY FAMILY & I MAINTAIN WHAT VZW ADMITS TO BE AN EXCELLENT RECORD AS LONG-TIME CELL PHONE SERVICE CUSTOMERS. ALSO, REMARKABLE IS HOW VZW NETWORK SALESPEOPLE ATTEMPTED TO PRESSURE US WITH THE FALSE CLAIM THAT THEIR SUPERVISOR WILL ONLY AGREE TO WAIVE THE CHARGE FOR THIS HOTSPOT IF ORDERING OCCURS WITHIN THAT ONE DAY. FACTUALLY, AS I HAPPENED TO KNOW AND DID INDEED REPLY, VZW IS OFFERING THIS MODEL OF HOTSPOT FREE TO ALL WHO ACCEPT A NEW, TWO-YEAR CONTRACT; BESIDES, ALMOST ALL COMPETING NETWORKS ARE OFFERRING THE SAME DEAL. VZW HAD ALSO CHARGED THE ACTIVATION FEE-$35 PLUS SURCHARGES & TAXES-WHEN THEY OFFERED VIA ADVERTISEMENTS THAT THIS ACTIVATION FEE IS WAIVED WITH A NEW CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT. VZW REPRESENTATIVES SURELY TRIED THEIR BEST TO WRONGFULLY RENEGE ON THIS PROMISE SO AS TO PROFIT FROM A FEE THEY PROMISED TO WAIVE, GIVING FAKE EXCUSES, AND RUNAROUND TACTICS, AND A GENERALLY HARD TIME, BUT AFTER PERSISTENT NEGOTIATIONS THEY DID EVENTUALLY REFUND THIS UNFAIR FEE. SAMSUNG HDTV: GOOD SOUND & REALISTIC PICTURE

Admittedly, my choice when I originally wanted to purchase my own color television, as well as many other video or audio products, had been consistently to purchase "Sony", and that manufacturer continues to be superb. Regardless, when I chose my initial HDTV, my decision depended upon either a "Sony" or a "Samsung" model, which would meet my basic requirements. I myself had been somewhat surprised that my initial HDTV choice had been ultimately between a 32" 60hz or 39" 60hz model manufactured by "Samsung". The first HDTV that I ordered at Best Buy, and, therefore, my initially owned HDTV, had been a 39" model by "Samsung". Honestly, I could not have been more pleased with, both, the overall realistic and vivid coloring and audio performance. I, soon after, had ordered the 32" model that I had been considering, and same became a gift for my elderly mom. I could elaborate on details of both "Samsung" models, though briefly I will express my very high level of satisfaction with both, and "Samsung" does certainly know how to manufacture a superior HDTV, as well as numerous other devices. I, again, continue to purchase and use various models by both companies and, I'm not comparing one to the other as far as quality, but rather it is really meant as a compliment to both that I regard either to be of superior caliber to many other makes of such products. When I was a child, my father's choice of the make and model of old-fashioned color or black and white television sets to purchase didn't matter in the least. Although, he regarded himself as quite an expert on such devices, our household would generally own whichever he'd buy for whatever reasons. Interestingly, in a way, my dad's first personal 15" screen black and white TV was a "Samsung", a manufacturer just introduced at the time to the market, and I recall it as heavy and bulky, yet rather durable with excellent sound for its size. In any event, the choice in my original personal 20" color TV, over other makes on the market, was definitely a "Sony", and that would still be and still is my choice for a whole range of products and devices. Nonetheless, I am open-minded with regard to what I know to be the best makes and models available. All in all, to reiterate, I could not be more satisfied with my Best Buy purchase of said "Samsung" 39" HDTV, and I am also very pleased with my purchase of this "Samsung" 32" HDTV. Unless your own decision is insistent on more than 60hz, or perhaps on a Smart HDTV model, I do strongly recommend this "Samsung" model, should it otherwise meet your size requirements and other needs.

MOST IMPRESSIVELY COMFORTABLE SHAVER EVER

This Braun electric shaver provides the most impressively comfortable and convenient results ever of any type of shaver I've experienced. Superior to blades, cream/jell, and water or any other manufactured electric shavers. Even better and easier, and of course less costly, than most barbers or professional grooming salons; though, this comment is not intended to cause offense or risk getting anyone angry. I am simply telling the rather surprising truth on this shaver's efficiency. Instead of any such annoyances or that of starting your morning with a shaving related bother or with bloodied or abraded skin, or at anytime of day, anywhere, this shaver waits ready to quickly provide a close, clean, smooth facial shave. It's amazing how, for the first time in my life or that which I had observed during my childhood of elders shaving, with this improved modern shaver I endure no noticeable irritation. Sometimes, as with many others whom know from "five o' clock shadow", a follow-up shave is needed, especially at very professional workplaces, but it's of no problem at all. Further, another benefit is a built-in accurate trimmer for sideburns and such. I had, admittedly, been switching between soap, water, and blades to my sturdy two-decade old Gillette electric shaver. Both were more or less abrasive to my skin, and my lady and my elderly mom had been pressing me to buy myself a new shaver. It took awhile before I found enough time to research and decide upon a specific model and manufacturer. Well, fortunately, between the wonders of the Google search engine and my good fortune to call and have reached a patient, very helpful salesperson at Best Buy, my choice was made relatively easy. Approximately, nine days later I had received my new Braun shaver via UPS and, within a few more hours, I found some time within to unpack, charge, and try a shave. What a surprising pleasure, and I've been enjoying great shaves with this Braun shaver for months now. Actually, I've also since chosen the higher model, with charging and cleaning stand, to purchase as a gift for my long-time friend's dad, who truly enjoys the shaver, too. I will add one more positive remark to this review, and relay that the built-in lithium-ion battery requires merely about fifteen minutes to fully charge, plus the charge lasts, whether dormant or in use, for a good long time. This is a quality shaver, worth what seems initially like a costly price, and it yields loads of pleasant- yes, pleasant - shaves. And, that sums it up.

"THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" VIDEO DOCUMENTARY IS AVAILABLE HERE IN A DOUBLE-DISC COLLECTION WITH SUPERBLY REMASTERED FULL HD QUALITY VIDEO+AUDIO MATERIAL. THIS DOCUMENTARY, ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1970, IS KNOWN AS THE NEXT TO LAST OF THIRTY-THREE MOVIES MADE DURING HIS CAREER. SOME OF HIS MOVIES WERE OF ACTING ROLES AND PLOTS WHICH LITERALLY UPSET AND NAUSEATED ELVIS HIMSELF, THOUGH A FEW DID INDEED SHOWCASE THE POTENTIAL ACTING TALENTS WHICH ELVIS DEEPLY ASPIRED TO ACCOMPLISH. PEOPLE ADORED SEEING HIM IN CONCERT AND RECOGNIZED HIS MUTUAL AFFECTION AND APPRECIATION FOR THEM. ALL GENDERS, ALL AGE GROUPS, WOULD COME FROM ALL THROUGHOUT THE GLOBE FOR A TREASURED CHANCE TO ACTUALLY BUY A TICKET TO BE A MEMBER OF HIS AUDIENCE; AND, MOST NOTEWORTHY IS THE FACT THAT, HE HAD ALWAYS HELD A STANDING-ROOM-ONLY ATTENDANCE RECORD. A Mouse Anyone Would Want In The House/Office

I, actually, find the built-in mousepad on my laptops to be most convenient and more than sufficient. Even so, this is the second Logitech wireless mouse I've purchased #one for home & one for office# from Best Buy at their famously great pricing. I, further, thought this, on a lesser degree of importance, to be another that's handsomely designed. While I consider most wireless mice, a rather simplistic and a high-tech device, that are slightly bulkier than necessary, I am aware that many users find them to be very comfortably sized. Any Logitech wireless mouse that I know of has generally positive aspects, such as ergonomical design, quick connectivity, low battery consumption, high precision, and is positively useful. How much more can I actually add to my review, other than to state the obvious which is it's a well-made, basically essential accessory sold at an affordable Best Buy price.

THE OTHER SIMARLARLY RATED DOCUMENTARY IS ""THE GREAT PERFORMANCES", WHICH I WILL CONCISELY SAY IS THOROUGHLY SUPERB, FAST MOVING & ENTERTAINING, BEST SELECTIONS OF SEGMENTS SHOWING ELVIS' LIFE AND CAREER, WITH OUTSTANDING VIDEO/AUDIO QUALTY, AND THE PRINCIPAL NARRATOR IS RICHLY VOICED DJ "GEORGE KLEIN", WHO HAD BEEN ELVIS' GOOD FRIEND SINCE HIGH SCHOOL. INDEED, AS FOR "THIS IS ELVIS" DOCUMENTARY, ALL TRUE ELVIS ADMIRERS AND FANS WILL ADORE IT. . I RECALL THE TIME, BACK IN THE EARLY SUMMER OF 1981, WHEN "THIS IS ELVIS" FIRST HAD BEEN ADVERTISED AS COMING TO A THEATER NEAR YOU, BUT IT'S LOCAL THEATER APPEARANCES WERE ABRUPTLY CUT SHORT. THIS ADVERTISED MOVIE HAD BEEN ONE OF THOSE EVENTS I LOOKED FOWARD TO, YET IT BECAME A NON-EVENT, SINCE IT NEVER ACTUALLY OCCURRED AS EVEN A DEBUT AT ANY THEATER WHICH I COULD FIND. SEVERAL YEARS LATER, THANKFULLY, "THIS IS ELVIS" WAS RELEASED ON VHS TAPE. THERE HAD BEEN BOTH A AMERICAN RELEASE AND AN EXTENDED EUROPEAN VERSION. FROM THE FIRST I HAD EVER VIEWED "THIS IS ELVIS", I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THE SELECTED CONTENT, WITH REASONABLY FAST MOVING & ENTERTAINING FOOTAGE, SHOWING JUST A LTTLE BIT OF SOME OF THE VERY BEST OF ELVIS' LIFE AND CAREER. EVEN ON INFERIOR VHS TAPE, THE OVERALL QUALITY WAS OBVIOUSLY BETTER THAN MOST OTHER ELVIS VIDEO ON THE MARKET, AT THE TIME. ONLY VERY BRIEF PORTIONS SHOW IMITATORS AT AN EARLY STAGE OF ELVIS' LIFE UNTIL THE END OF HIS LIFE AND CAREER, BUT THIS ISN'T OVERDONE, ONLY HERE AND THERE WHERE SHORT FILL-INS ARE NECESSARY FOR THE PURPOSE OF BETTER CONVEYING THE WHOLE STORY. PRIMARILY, OTHER THAN THE MAIN NARRATOR "RAL DONNER", WHO HAD BEEN KNOWN FOR ELVIS SOUND-ALIKE SONG HITS DURING THE EARLY 1960'S, SUCH AS "SUSPICION" & "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE GOT UNTIL YOU LOSE IT", THE VIEWER IS GETTING THEIR FILL OF BUNCHES OF PURE ELVIS FOOTAGE. PLUS, IN THIS VERY REASONABLY PRICED TWO-CD SET, WE GET BOTH THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE U.S. THEATER AND EXTENDED VERSION FORMATS. THE ONLY PART THAT REGRETTABLY MUST BE, AS IT IS REALISTIC TO THE STORY, I FIND INTENSELY DISGUSTING; IE- NEAR THE CONCLUSION ARE EXERPTS OF A POSTHUMOUS PRESS-CONFERENCE WHERE A FEW OF ELVIS' FORMER BODYGUARDS DESCRIBE THEIR HORRIBLE BOOK. THE SADDEST PART, THOUGH, IS WHEN EXERPTS OF "ELVIS IN CONCERT", NOT LITERALLY HIS LAST 6/26/77 CONCERT AS WAS REPORTED, THOUGH ONE OF HIS FINAL FEW SHOWS, AND LAST CBS-TV SPECIAL, DISPLAYING A SHOCKINGLY ILL ELVIS, MERELY SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO HIS UNTIMELY DEATH. HE STILL MANAGED TO PERFORM HIS BEST AS IS EVIDENT AS HE BELTS OUT A POWERFUL, POIGNANT VERSION OF "MY WAY". ELVIS FIRST LOVE AND MOST CHERISHED TYPE OF MUSIC WAS THAT BY WHICH HIS BELOVED MOMMA "GLADYS" HAD SUNG WITH HIM AND TAUGHT HIM, DURING HIS MISERABLY IMPOVERISHED CHILDHOOD, THAT THE SOOTHING QUALITIES AND POWER OF PRAISE FOR GOD WOULD GUIDE HIM THROUGH. ELVIS COMMENTED WITH REGARD TO GOSPEL MUSIC, WHICH MAY BE HEARD IN HIS 1972 FILMED DOCUMENTARY "ELVIS ON TOUR", THAT "IT MORE OR LESS HELPS PUT YOUR MIND AT EASE...I KNOW IT DOES MINE". AND, UPON EARLY YEARS OF FAME, HE WOULD OFTEN PROUDLY REMARK IN INTERVIEWS "I KNOW PROBABLY EVERY GOSPEL SONG THAT'S EVER BEEN WRITTEN". IN FACT, MANY POPULAR GOSPEL FIGURES OF THE TIME, IN THE 1970'S, WOULD VISIT ELVIS BACKSTAGE AND ENCOURAGE THAT HE TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY HIS POTENTIAL ROLE IN INFLUENCING HIS CONSISTENTLY STANDING-ROOM ONLY AUDIENCE MEMBERS. UNDENIABLY, HE PUTS HIMSELF IN AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FRAME OF MIND AND MOOD IN THE MANNER HE EXPRESSES THE HARMONICALLY PEACEFUL AND SPIRITUALLY UPLIFTING FEEL OF SUCH SONGS. YOU CAN EVEN HEAR IN MANY OF HIS ROCK AND ROLL NUMBERS OR EVEN SOME ROMANTIC BALADS THAT THERE IS A GOSPEL INFLUENCE AMONG HIS MANY OTHERS. ON STAGE, AS WELL AS IN THE STUDIO, HE ALWAYS INSISTED ON GOSPEL QUARTETS AND SUCH TO BACKUP AND ACCOMPANY HIM. MOREOVER, HERE IS A RATHER FASCINATING AND INDISPUTABLE FACT, OF HIS VAST SELECTION OF BOTH STUDIO RECORDINGS AND LIVE PERFORMANCES, THE "KING OF ROCK & ROLL" HAD BEEN RECOGNIZED SOLELY BY NOMINATIONS AND THREE WINS OF GRAMMY AWARDS FROM 1966-1974...ALL THREE GRAMMY AWARDS RECOGNIZED ELVIS' SUPERB EXCELLENCE IN BEST INSPIRATIONAL RECORDINGS AND LIVE PERFORMANCES. Lend your attention to my honest review and I assure that all will find it worthwhile. I had been provided very little advice prior to deciding this would be one of two digital cameras I'd choose to purchase. That said, however, I must be fair in complimenting the respectful, amiable BBY Salesperson, since their service was great in helping to compare the features, confirming my knowledge was correct, and effecting a purchase of a needed product at a superbly reasonable BBY price that proved "picture perfect". This tiny Nikon digital camera may be more than surprising to most users. Huge assortment of fabulous features included & manufactured with excellence, plus so easy to operate and obtain satisfying results. The reason#s# for its name "Coolpix" becomes evident almost upon opening the box. If anyone recalls a majority of the cameras and bulky camcorders of not so long ago, the Coolpix L620, puts those expensive, cumbersome devices to shame. I am rather accustomed to a variety of video and audio equipment; particularly due to my entertainment/other event assignments. This camera has instantly become one of my new friends...helping to capture valued memories and important events in full HD quality. I certainly wish, in retrospect, this device had been available years ago when I truly desired to take photos and videos, especially of special family and beloved, rescued pets, with such ease and such beautiful results. Whether your needs are professional or personal, this is among the positively best video devices you will enjoy.

THIS DOCUMENTARY, ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1970, IS KNOWN AS THE NEXT TO LAST OF THIRTY-THREE MOVIES MADE DURING HIS CAREER. This Sony Xplod Boombox will positively amaze the listener with realistic audio(bass, midrange, & treble). Do not allow the slightly smaller than average boombox size to surprise you. And, the price may be too reasonable for its performance. I purchased the originally designed model of Xplod and am still enjoying it. Even old and rare, so-called "soundboard" CD/cassettes will not sound inferior, but will come alive. Sony manufactured different styles/versions of Xplod since I initially bought it nearly five years ago. This newer version is immensely improved in appearance, features, and the audio output is spectacular. Take this advice from a very particular audiophile!!!

NOTE ON SONY MODEL ZS-BTG900 FOR HEADPHONE USERS

For HEADPHONE users, who may sometimes prefer listening to their audio in that manner- be it for privacy, or to avoid disturbing others, or to simply enjoy your music via headphones- there is a noteworthy detail. This Sony boombox does NOT support the use of any type of headphone. There is definitely no manner in which to plug in a wired headphone, nor for it to recognize a wireless headphone. The wireless or bluetooth enabled feature is so as to get this unit to recognize and play audio output via incoming audio feed. Further, although there is a tiny jack at the front lower right side of this unit, it is clearly marked for its sole purpose; namely, "audio in". I had contacted Sony Customer Relations, as well as their tech-support, to politely inquire as to the reason why their newer, improved models are not compatible with any headphone, while other older models of their "Xplod" series boomboxes and numerous other large and small devices do, indeed, support this feature. Well, I would have ordinarily expected far better customer relations from Sony than I received. I, candidly, was unpleasantly surprised by Sony representatives who had very, very nastily insisted that no boombox ever created allows for compatibility with any headphone. Sony's answer was not only unnecessarily offensive, their responses on a very simple audio question were totally inaccurate. It did not change their attitude when I indicated proof of the many units which positively do support headphones, including at least one of their older "Xplod" models, which I've owned for a few years now and still use. While I recognize that some customers may think it's ridiculous to use a headphone with a boombox, many other less expensive models are compatible with headphones, and it is very possible that a headphone option could sometimes be desired. I really wonder why Sony decided to exclude the rather basic, inexpensive feature of a headphone jack from their newer, improved, and much more expensive models. By the way, even though model ZS-BTG900 is often referred to as part of the "Xplod" boombox line of audio products, and I consider it to actually be just a larger boombox, you may eventually learn yourself that it is named a "personal audio system". Nonetheless, I do hope that certain HEADPHONE users may find this commentary worthy of mention. Enjoy!!!

IT IS TRUE, IF YOU WANT TO USE CORDED HEADPHONES WHEN LISTENING TO AUDIO ON MODEL ZS-BTG900, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. WHY THEY CHOSE TO NOT INCLUDE A HEADPHONE JACK OPTION ON THEIR NEW AND IMPROVED MODELS DOES SEEM PECULIAR. IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD SUPPORT ONLY WIRELESS HEADPHONES, WHILE THIS AND OTHER NEWER MODELS OF AUDIO SYSTEMS DO LACK THE OFTEN EXPECTED AND BASIC FEATURE OF REGULAR HEADPHONE COMPATABILITY. ALSO, AS FOR THOSE "SONY" REPRESENTATIVES, WHO HAD PROVIDED IGNORANT AND NASTY SERVICE, ALL SORTS OF BUSINESSES HAVE SOME REGRETTABLY ROTTEN EGGS, AS WELL AS THOSE TRULY GOOD EGGS. "SONY" AND "SAMSUNG" ARE, USUALLY, TWO OF THE BETTER IN CUSTOMER RELATION ISSUES. IN MY OPINION, ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MANUFACTURERS THESE DAYS, "TOSHIBA", HAS REPRESENTATIVES THAT YOU CAN ALMOST ANTICIPATE WILL EXHIBIT AN ATTITUDE OF INFERIOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND RELUCTANCE TO PROVIDE PRODUCT SUPPORT, AT LEAST UNLESS YOU PAY FEE AFTER FEE, EVEN FOR A NEW "TOSHIBA" PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY. Accept this advice from a very particular audiophile. Sony's "Xplod" line of boomboxes provide the listener with amazingly realistic quality audio output#ie- full range bass, midrange, treble#. In fact, I myself had been quite pleasantly surprised by the performance of their original model, which I purchased roughly six years ago, and continue to enjoy to this current day. Even older or so-called "soundboard" recordings on CD/cassette won't sound inferior, as on this device all comes alive. As for the not so favorable reaction of neighbors, landlords, etc., the listening pleasure derived will, in my opinion, more than compensate. Many of these persons usually won't admit that they can't help actually enjoying what they're hearing#almost up-to-par with the likes of a free-live-performance#, but just try to be a bit considerate and lower the volume of its rich, full-range spectrum of sound. From "Good Ol' R&R" to orchestral symphonies to most contemporary music, you will be highly impressed and pleased. I'm not excluding the FM/AM radio & other features; it's basically needless to say that, in fact, any listener will find all it's capable of doing is equally fantastic. Sony has marketed various versions with far less appealing appearances than their recent boomboxes#an added plus is "Xplod" has been improved in its looks and features#, though I've been pleased with all in that, evidently, Sony surely knows how to manufacture a not-so-large boombox with immensely enjoyable qualities. So, join me in purchasing the Sony "Xplod" with the extra benefits of being a Best Buy customer. Believe it or not, this concludes my review, but I will likely continue my praises.

NEW SONY BOOMBOXES SOUND GREAT-BUT MISSING BASICS

I know, for a fact, that I'm not alone in noticing and disliking that newer, improved boomboxes manufactured by "Sony" are missing basic features. First, the issue of compatibility with corded headphones, this model has a headphone jack, yet the even more expensive model #ZS-BTG900 does not support any corded headphone. Even though these are loud boomboxes, there are times when using a headphone is desirable or necessary. Moreover, while the model #ZS-BTG900 does not support any headphone, it does play compact discs. As for this model, it cannot play any compact discs. Does "Sony" really believe that removing these expected and wanted features is an improved concept? For what legitimate reason did "Sony" remove such basic features from their modern models? These models sound great, but not all customers are pleased with these somewhat ridiculous changes. Call 1(800)222-SONY!!!

I DO APOLOGIZE, NO HARM INTENDED; THOUGH I NOW RECOGNIZE THAT I HAD, EVIDENTLY, CONFUSED FEATURES AND QUALITY OF ONE RECENT "SONY" MODEL WITH ANOTHER NEW MODEL, ZS-TGB900. THIS SPECIFIC MODEL OF "SONY" WIRELESS BLUETOOTH BOOMBOX ONLY HAS AN AM/FM RADIO, NOT A CD PLAYER, OR A REMOTE COMMANDER. ALSO, THE AUDIO QUALITY OF THIS MODEL'S SPEAKERS IS REMARKABLY EXCELLENT, BUT ACTUALLY NOT ALL THAT SPECTACULAR. I, HONESTLY, PREFER SOME OLDER "XPLOD" MODELS, FOR NUMEROUS REASONS. THEY, GENERALLY, WERE SLIGHTLY SMALLER, HAD VERY EXCELLENT SOUND FOR THEIR SIZE, AND, HAD MANY ADDITIONAL FEATURES; INCLUDING AN AM/FM RADIO, A CD PLAYER, A REMOTE COMMANDER, PLUS THE OPTION OF PLUGGING IN CORDED HEADPHONES. how to keep tv screen from going black randomly when watching it
tv only 4 months old and after watching a while, time varies on any given day, the picture goes BLACK ON ALL CHANNELS AND ONLY THE SOUND REMAINS. only fix is to turn off and on again until the next time it happens. getting old real quick whats the fix ? brand new tv !!!!!
Hi, Fellow Best Buy Customer: I will attempt, as best possible, to answer your question. I, under these circumstances, must make presumptions so as to address your issue. Firstly, your issue seems odd to me, as I own the same Samsung HDTV model and I find its performance consistently superb and flawless. In your case, of your screen "going black randomly when watching it", have you ever considered it may be simply a connection problem, a loose or faulty connection? If you are using an antenna, this could be caused by various conditions, even inclement weather; though, you should check and ensure connections are secure and the antenna is in proper working condition. Other than that, if your issue persists, you might need repairs. Anyway, hope I've been of help. Good luck!

Hi there, "Anonymous". The definite answer to your recent question is that anyone may add data using an SSD without voiding the warranty. I, myself, own and use the same exact laptop and l do this frequently with no concern of voiding any warranty. Just a mention anyway, be advised, if you wish to or if you need to ask assistance of the manufacturer, "Toshiba", their agents have unpleasantly surprised me, and some people I know, by not helping with the slightest matter, even while under full warranty, or if they do provide very, very basic assistance, they are consistently reluctant to help. "Toshiba" agents will take so much of your time, while they repeatedly insist on being paid over and over and over. Perhaps some other companies mistreat their consumers, too, but I'd not have imagined that "Toshiba" isn't caring of their products or their consumers who purchase their products. This may not be specifically relevant to your question, though I thought that I should share this with another customer of the same "Toshiba" model. Again, you won't void any warranty using SSD. MY fellow customer, I'd more than suppose the answer to your question is the Dyson model on clearance at a lower price is of those originally marketed, which were almost intolerably noisy. Dyson's newly released models are improved, operating in a considerably smoother and quieter manner. So, I don't know whether the noise would annoy you, and, if not you could obviously save $100 on your purchase. Anyhow, I think that is the answer. Hope I've been of help.

Does the base swivel? If so, how much?
The base sort of does move, but just ever so slightly. It allows a small repositioning to adjust a bit from one side or the other. Realistically, I wouldn't definitely consider this base actually having a swivel feature.
