Careful, not really the complete collection.

First off I have loved Red Dwarf for years and my 3 star review has nothing to do with the series as much the product itself. I am glad to see the series finally starting to make it to DVD, and getting more exposure to people who missed it while on the air. This is a great box set that includes the first 8 seasons of the series. The box set doesn't really give you to many extra's over simply buying the each season seperately, which might be cheaper depending if the prices have been reduced or on they are on sale.
Be warned though like the title of this review pointed out, this is not the entire series. There was a 9th season, Back to Earth, which was basically a movie no one really liked that much but there is also a season 10 that this box set does not include. So if your planning buy this box set for a real Red Dwarf fan as a gift, just be aware there are more still out there.
My Best Buy number: 573011106
What's great about it: It's Red Dwarf, lots of it.
What's not so great: Not quite all the series
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product, if it works.

I spent a lot of time looking before I bought this computer and I have to say there is nothing even close in comparison to this package any where. Even the normal price is a fair deal, but this model also seems to be on sale on a regular basis. As high as $90 off, and usually at least $13, with the standard best buy free shipping.
You can't find an 8 core processor computer with a 2gig graphics card for any where near that price any where else really. Everything about this model impressed me, other than perhaps the design of the tower. Like most gaming computers it tends to be over the top and flashy. Personally I just found the little blue light rather annoying, but all of the air holes and vents in this model means it should never over heat unless your room is way to hot.
The downside of this package though seems to be the reliability. Getting a working model seems to be a hit or miss chance. Dozens of people are happy with the computer and post glowing reviews of this package. On the other hand almost a third of the reviews listed seems to indicate other people are like me and got one that failed to work from the word go. The good news is that Best buy has a great return service either at the store or through a free prepaid UPS return label. So even if it takes you a couple attempts, in the end you should have a great gaming computer for less.
My Best Buy number: 573011106
What's great about it: Great price, often on sale and better specs than some computers twice the price
What's not so great: Very poor quality control at the factory.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Two great movies for less than the price of one

I loved both of these movies even if they were not as great as I hoped. There are far to few good fantasy movies out there anymore, let alone ones based on Dungeon's and Dragons. I feel this lack of good DnD movies is a shame considering just how many books, games and campaign supplements are floating around.
As for this version in itself you can't go wrong with two great movies for less than the price of one. This product is listed as a DVD twice and I bought the other one but I thought i would review this one because of the error. The picture might say Blueray DVD but the product details say DVD. One of the two is wrong and considering the price is exactly the same as the DVD one that I bought, I would expect to get a dvd if I were you.
What's great about it: Everything a DND fan could want in one box
What's not so great: Failed to be as great as it could be with so much pre existing material to work with
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Big Disapointment!!!!!!!!
By matoftkin from Memphis, TN
This was a very bad experience for me. When you decide to bite the bullet and spend a real money on a Gamer's machine only to have it smoke it self after being operational for a minute or so, it is a bad experience. I took it to the geek squad and they said they were not allowed to put a new power supply in the computer, and I thought they were sending it back to the company that built it. But when it returned still DOA, I found out that Best Buy had sent it to thier depot who either could not, or would not repair it. So instead of getting a maxed out Gamers pc with a 200.00 discount, I bought a lesser pc for the more money minus a $50.00 discount. Overall, this left a bad taste in my mouth. Funny thing is, I would not have written this review except Best Buy sent me an email asking for this review. Makes you wonder.

Never try and get it fixed
May 7, 2013
So far in my experience if your having trouble with a computer now, just send it back. Most stores only have a 14-15 day return policy with computer equipment and if you don't return it ASAP you'll be stuck with it. Best buy has a pretty good return policy and more often than not if you really want the computer your better off returnng it and buying the product again. The standard run around you get when trying to get a defective product fixed is only going to make you miss your final return date.

When I try to preorder the digital download, it doesn't give me my gamer's club discount. Do I have to wait until it releases tonight at midnight?

While I'm not sure how digital downloads might affect the problem I have noticed you must be logged into bestbuy.com before adding an item to your cart. Other wise it doesn't seem to count the gamers club discount, even if you log in afterwards. Usually all you have to do is remove the product and then go back to the item to add it to your cart again. I've noticed this issue a few times in the past and I hope it fixes the problem you have.
