After my Sony Vaio Flip started to have issues with the keyboard and touchpad, I started looking for a replacement. My wife has the non-touch HP Spectre and we both really like it, so this laptop was an obvious choice. After using this laptop for over a month, I have found that it is fast, has plenty of hard disk space for my needs and is much quieter than our other Spectre.
Pros:

This laptop boots up in 10 seconds or less. It often takes 8 seconds and you are at the desktop, ready to go. The i7 processor combined with 16GB of RAM make quick work of anything. I really just needed the 512GB hard disk, but I appreciate having the 16GB of RAM. I notice the computer not lagging like my other Spectre or the Sony when using multiple programs.

Keyboard:
They keyboard is really nice to type on. I don't notice the short travel on the keys. Even though there is little contrast on for the keyboard back-light (silver keys with white light), I'm not bothered by it. I am used to it from my Sony and it wasn't an issue watching Netflix on the porch in the dark. I like that the function keys at the top of the keyboard are active instead of the F1-F12. I can easily change the brightness, back-light, volume or playback controls without having to use the FN key. The only drawback is that you have to hit the FN key to refresh a web page using the F5 key. I am used to it now though.

The small bezel on the sides is nice and it makes for a smaller form factor, but I have noticed that if I'm moving the screen around from the side I sometimes end up touching the screen and doing something unintended, like closing a window. I don't notice fingerprints on the screen when indoors, but they are very noticeable when outsize.
Touchpad:
I really like the touchpad more than I expected and use it more than I would have thought. It works much better than others I have used, even our other Spectre. It is very accurate and the gestures work really well. I have used other touchpapers where scrolling with two fingers turns into zooming. I have not had that problem in this device.

The Fan on her laptop runs quite often when streaming and even when just using the internet. The fan on this Spectre x360 is not as loud or as high pitched. Plus, it doesn't run nearly as often. In fact, I can't remember the last time I heard the fan.

For instance, I charged the laptop fully overnight and 12 hours after I unplugged the laptop, the battery had already lost 9%. Hopefully that will get resolved in a future firmware/driver release.

Excellent blender, but expect some noise

I love this blender. I have a small kitchen and this replaced 2 different sized food processors as well as a blender. It is quite tall, so be sure your storage space can accommodate its measurements. My favorite feature is the individual cups that it comes with. We can make smoothies for each person in the family without having to wash anything. The cups also make it very convenient to use on the go or freeze any leftovers. It is very powerful and has handled any challenge we have given it. Everything comes out with a very smooth consistency. I also love the auto settings - I can just set it to go and it makes a perfect smoothie in 45 seconds. The only downside is that it is very loud, but that is to be expected with such a powerful motor. As long as you don't mind the noise and you have room enough to store this machine, you will not be disappointed. It is fantastic.

Disappointingly Slow

I have been an Apple user for many years now. Both my phones and tablets are Apple. I was looking for a cheap replacement for an old iPad that has slowing down in its old age. I thought an Android device like this would do the trick. I have never used an Android device before, so I thought I would give it a try. The price was certainly attractive, but I was disappointed in the performance. I'm not sure it is any faster than my old iPad.

I would have given this device 4 stars if it wasn't so darn slow. The slowness really frustrates me. Otherwise it's would be a really good device for the price.
A note for Apple users: As someone already integrated into the Apple ecosystem, it is really difficult for me to reach for this devices, because I can't just ready something off my reading list or look up something in my notes app. I do use Google Apps for documents, so there is no difference there, but I found myself using my old iPad in favor of this devices, due to iCloud and my familiarity with Apple devices. I may let my kids use this devices in time as they are not really using the iCloud.

Effective Time Saver

Overall the Bissell Cross Wave is a great machine. It is easy to assemble and use. It does a good job with mildly soiled hard surfaces and carpets. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It leaves hard surfaces much drier than conventional mopping. It is fairly easy to clean the machine after each use. I love not having to vacuum prior to mopping. It does have a powerful suction. It truly is a timesaver to be able to go from surface to surface without changing a thing and to combine vacuuming and mopping all in one action.
There a few disappointments. It does not "scrub" well so any heavily soiled or sticky areas on hard surfaces need to either be done by hand or pre-treated. It doesn't reach under the cabinets or dishwasher well and I needed to do those areas by hand. It is also a bit loud.
Overall, it did a good job and certainly is a time saver.

This is a really nice laptop. It is lightning fast. I have a Sony Vaio Flip with an i5, 8GB RAM and a solid state drive and this laptop boots up in half the time, 10 seconds from the time I push the power button. Booting aside, everything is fast. Just browsing the internet is much faster with this laptop. It could be because it is my only wireless AC device, but I don't think AC is THAT much faster than wireless N. I think the better CPU and better hard drive make the difference.
This laptop is very light and sleek. I really like the color combination. Even though it says it weighs 1 lb more than my iPad gen 3, it really feels the same weight.
The screen is very crisp. My Sony has a 1080p screen, but the text on this HP is much clearer and the video on Netflix or Hulu seems better.
The touchpad is very good. It responds very accurately. The scrolling gesture is much more responsive than other touchpads I have worked with. The keys on the keyboard have a good response to them.
I only have 3 minor things I would change on this laptop:
1. The keyboard has a function button to turn on the backlight. I would prefer that the backlight come on when I press any key. It's minor, but it just makes it so you don't have to think about it. My wife and I often watch TV on our laptops on our porch at night, so having a backlight keyboard is crucial.
2. The fan runs often when streaming movies or TV. The fan is very high pitched and gets irritating after a while.

Ultimately I really like this computer. In many ways it is superior to my Sony Vaio Flip. My wife was skeptical when I said I was going to get this, but now she has pretty much claimed it for herself.

Excellent Router, Easy Setup

I finally got fed up with my old A/B/G router that I needed to restart about once a month to get my devices to connect. I wanted an AC just to be compatible for future product as I think only my iPad supports wireless AC. This Router was much better than I could have expected. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I have not had any issues like disconnects, so that's a plus. What I really like is the Linksys IOS app that I can use to perform some simple functions like, control guest access or parental controls, view currently connected devices, and rename the devices to better identify them. You have to log into the web administration console to get more advanced features though. One thing that drove me nuts with my old router was the very large blue button on the top that flashed when there was network traffic. This router does not have any lights on top but does have lights for the hard wired connections which can be turned off.
Pros:
- Much better range then my previous router
- IOS app is a plus
- No flashing lights if you don't want them
- No issues so far

Hello! How loud are the vents? Moderate use, like excel, browsing, emails (office work).
The fan can work its way up to a moderately loud high pitched noise when streaming movies. I have not noticed the noise with light use like browsing unless I block the vents.

Can this TV be made into a 3D TV?
I understand that some tvs are 3d compatible and was wondering if this particular tv is as well. I see it has an IR extender cable and was hoping that would be used for a 3D emitter box. Would you mind clarifying whether this tv is actually 3d compatible or not?
I think you need a 240hz refresh rate for 3d. This only has 120Hz.
The IR extender seems to be for using the remote as a universal remote. Instead of programming the remote you program the tv to send signals to the other device using the IR extender that is placed in front of the other device.
